Episode begins with Jai shouting on the phone and ordering Jigyasa to go out with Ranveer and search for Pia and Pushkar, he says that come what may, he has to stop the Wedding from happening. Jigyasa keeps the phone down and tells Ranveer very happily that for the first time in her life, Jai Bhaiyaa has trusted her with some work and she wants to prove herself worthy of being his sister. Ranveer who is still busy sipping his tea tells Jigyasa that how on Earth will we search for them in such a huge city, Jigs says that she doesn't care how, but it is Jai Bhaiyaa's orders and she wants to fulfill them at any cost. (For the first time, I actually loved Jigyasa…all said and done, she is still loyal to her brother)
Jai, who is still fuming and Mohan who looks petrified at Jai's condition are shown in the Police HQ talking to the Commissioner (Who is in his Office at 3 Am in the morning?) and Jai tells him that he wants Pushkar arrested right away and that he should send his Police Forces to trace him out from anywhere. The commissioner tries to explain to Jai that he had himself ordered that the arrest should be done only by Monday and that is why despite the grave charges that had been put on Pushkar, the Police had waited for making the arrest. Jai loses his patience and tells the Commissioner that circumstances have changed (Yeah, his Bhigi Billi wife turns out to be a Tigress, Poor Jai!) and that Pushkar is trying to leave the town, and he wants him arrested before he does that. The commissioner assures Jai that he will do his best to trace out Pushkar and get him arrested.
The next couple of scenes show Jigs and Ranveer looking out for all the Wedding taking place in the town (Again at 3 Am in the morning? Who the hell gets married at this hour?) and elsewhere Jai and Mohan in their Car driving all over Mumbai! (Btw, the night scene at Mumbai doesn't appear to suggest that its such an odd hour, it looks more like 8 in the evening!) Jai's eyes are now painful and his face is extremely dejected as he tells Mohan in a very dejected tone that he cannot imagine something like this could have happened to him. He said that Bani, Pia and Pushkar were closest to his heart and after all that he had done for them, how could they back-stab him in such a manner. It was pretty heart-breaking as Jai tells Mohan that he has never thought or done bad for anyone and that inspite of his good intentions, one broke his trust (Bani) the other broke his heart (Pia) and the third took away his love from him (Pushkar) As Mohan looks very sympathetically at Jai, he says that he can never come out of this shock in this life and till his death, this betrayal will always weigh in his mind and until and unless he evens this out, he cannot get a night's sleep.
The song, "Ab toh Aadat si hai mujhko aise jeene mein" plays in the background, while Jai is shown in the background and the scenes shift from Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport to Churchgate Railway Station to some Bus Stand. All the while Jai keeps remembering Pia and her betrayal....her face keeps coming infront of his eyes, as they turn moist and angry at the same time! Jai and Mohan are looking for Pia and Pushkar and elsewhere poor Jigs and Ranveer and also searching for them (They look howlarious btw, both Mother and Son, all dressed up, going from one place to another).😆
Mohan brings his Car to a halt infront of a temple and Jai notices that a marriage is taking place. Jai tells Mohan to wait and says that of all the temples they went through (Atleast Jai has earned his Punya by going to all the temples, now God will certainly be kind on him!) this is the only one which has a marriage taking place and he is certain that Pia and Pushkar are getting married here. Mohan looks exasperated now but seeing Jai's mental condition, refrains from making a comment. Jai walks upto the temple alone.
Beautiful Scene, Very Emotional!
As Jai is shown walking to the temple, some chants start playing in the background (It was beautiful, the same holy chants that are played while a Wedding takes place) and Jai goes through the crowd and sees that a Maharastrian Wedding is taking place. The couple is obviously someone else and as Jai is about to turn back and go, something makes him stop and he is rooted to the spot. As Jai sees the couple taking the "Saat Phera's", Jais' eyes get an unusual softness in them and suddenly he remembers his own marriage where he was taking the "Saat Phera's" with Bani and then they show the groom putting sindoor on the brides' forehead and then Jai remembers him putting sindoor on Bani's forehead and his eyes are moist. The Chants stop playing in the background and the scene is done in total silence. Jai keeps looking at the marriage taking place and his face has an indescribable softness in it, as if he just realized that he has indeed married Bani and no matter what, he cannot change what destiny has scripted for him. Suddenly, Jai comes out of his revere and backs off suddenly from the place where he was standing and walks back in complete silence, I think that part of the scene was done in slow motion. Jai looks very defeated and extremely dejected and also really lonely as he walks with his head bowed down.
Mohan who is standing near his Car looks upto his best friend and his eyes also get a very sad look at Jai's state. Jai walks down a few step and sits on them with his head buried in his hands (Oh…Poor Baby!) Mohan comes down and sits with him. Jai then lifts his head and tells Mohan that he waited all his life for love to come in it, not once did he ever have any feelings for anyone the way he had for Pia. As Mohan listens with complete silence, Jai says that Pia made him a different person, she gave him an unfound confidence in him, she made him realize that life is much more than money and work and that life becomes beautiful only when you have someone to share it with. Jai then says with great sadness that why did she break his heart into a million pieces, where did Jai go wrong, all he did was fall in love and offered a proposal of marriage like any decent man would, then why did Pia lie to him continuously and ran out on him, trampling his heart in such a ruthless manner.
Mohan looks extremely sad for his friend and asks him in an exasperated tone that he cannot believe such people exist in the World (Hello, then what will you call Jigs and Ranveer?) and that how could someone smart and wise as Jai could have trusted and fallen in love with a girl like Pia, whom he hardly knew for a few months. Jai who is still in a self-pity and sombre mood tells Mohan (rather lifts a line off the movie, "Hum Tum"😉 ) that, "Kabhi toh ek insaan ko jaanne ke liye puri umar bhi kam padti hai, aur kabhi kabhi ek hi pal mein hum kisi insaan ko zingadi bhar ke liye jaan lete hain." Jai then says that, "Meri aankhon ne hi nahin, mere dil ne bhi bahut bada dhoka khaya hai...." Mohan just looks at Jai, miserably....as he feels terrible for his friend's state!😔
Jai then snaps out of his somber mood and gets the angry, cold look in his eyes as he tells Mohan that he will not let Pia get married to Pushkar ever. The happiness that Pia took away from him, she can also never have. Jai says that he will destroy everything that comes in his way but will prevent Pia and Pushkar from getting married. Mohan tries to calm Jai and tells him that Jai has been a winner all his life but his greatest weakness has always been his temper. Mohan tells Jai that let Pia and Pushkar get married, let Bani win this round and Jai can still have an entire lifetime to get even with the three of them (Instead of advising Jai, he is further incensing him!) Mohan tells Jai that just by getting married, Pia and Pushkar's life is not going to become easier and Jai can still plan out his revenge with them, nothing can stop him from doing that.
Jai is adamant and says that he doesn't care for anything, but he wants to stop this Wedding from taking place. Jai says that no revenge would matter if Pia and Pushkar get married, the whole point of his anger and his retribution would get diluted if Bani indeed gets them married. Jai says that Bani along with Pia and Pushkar has dared to challenge him openly and he wants to make a suitable reply to the three of them and for that he has to stop this marriage from happening, it's a matter of life and death for him now. Mohan looks at Jai and then gets a new fiery look in his eyes and tells Jai, "Agar aisi baat hai, toh chal, hum kaise bhi kar ke Pia aur Pushkar ko dhood nikalenge aur unki shaadi ko rok denge."
Again the next scene shows Jai, Mohan and Jigs, Ranveer searching for Pia and Pushkar and then its morning, finally. All of them are shown arriving at the Walia Mansion and are standing besides their Car. Jigs looks very scared as she comes out of her Car and tells Jai that Ranveer and she did her best and went to every possible temple and wedding that was taking place, but could not find any trace of Pia and Pushkar. Jai who is completely quiet but has fire burning in his eyes goes near his Car (A lovely White Sonata, I love this Car!) and bangs his hand on it. Jigs is taken aback and comes near Jai and tells him that its Bani, Pia and Pushkar who have done wrong and they are the ones who should feel the pain of what they have done to Jai, why is he punishing himself.
Just then all of them notice, some people coming out of the Walia Mansion, Ranveer comments in general that who are these people and why are they coming out of the Walia Mansion this early in the morning. Mohan, Jigyasa and Ranveer look on with curiosity and confusion, while Jai's face turns white as he remembers Bani telling him that he has 4 hours to try and stop Bani from getting Pia and Pushkar from getting married and that she promises him that by 7 Am in the morning, she will tie Pia and Pushkar for the next 7 lives!
Summary and Comments :
Pia & Pushkar are married at the Walia Mansion : By the end of the episode, I was pretty certain as was Jai, that Bani has indeed fulfilled her part of the challenge and as Ashrose had so cleverly predicted, she got them married at the Tiger's Den itself. This is indeed a double whammy for Jai, of all the places on Earth, Bani got Pia and Pushkar married at his house….Cannot even imagine Jai's reaction today!
Good Sister's job over, Good Wife's job begins : Bani has done all that she could and much more as a sister to Pia and a friend to Pushkar. She had fulfilled her promise given to her dying Father to always take care of Pia and has repaid Pushkar's friendship by going against Jai in such a bizarre manner and get them married against all Odds. Now it has to be seen if Bani proves to be as good and as loyal a wife as she has proved herself to be a sister and a friend.
Marriages are certainly made in heaven : The look on Jai's face at the temple proves that all said and done, Jai does believe in the sanctity of the institution of marriage and even if for an instant, he does realize that he is now somebody's husband and that someone is his wife, however unusual the marriage might have been. Now that he has lost his vow of stopping Pia and Pushkar's marriage from taking place, he should just take stock of the situation and realize that it was all destiny!
Kya se kya ho gaya, bewafa, tere pyaar mein : Jai still has feelings left for Pia...because he still remembers her while searching for Pia and Pushkar...😭
But the happy thing was that while watching the marriage take place at the temple, he only remembers Bani....😃And as Anusha had mentioned in one of her posts, now the memories of Pia only bring pain to his heart, he only remembers her betraying side and not the loving one...that is a good thing! But just look, what Pia has made of Jai....😔Pia has brought about destruction in everyone's life she has touched....Jai, Bani, Pushkar, Pushkar's family.....how can she ever think of living happily when she has given only grief to everyone, especially to a man who loved her from the core of his heart....😭
Shola hai, ya hai bijuriya, dil ki dagariya, Mumbai Nagariya : I still cannot understand what on Earth were a 1000 odd people doing at 3 Am in the morning. Alright, I know that Mumbai has a fantastic night life...but so many people at that hour😕Also, there were like a dozen marriages taking place....again, at 3 Am in the morning?😕Kuch Gadbad Hai....also, who on Earth were those completely "Ghati" people coming out of Jai's house....when did Bani have the time to invite guest's for her sister's wedding...arre baba, Ekta didi, Creative licence tak toh theek hai, kuch toh reality se bhi vaasta rakho!😆
Maa-Beta dono ko koi aur kaam nahin hai : I found the whole Jigyasa and Ranveer searching for Pia and Pushkar to be very funny, I don't know why...I still cannot understand why are they always shown together? And yes, what on Earth were they trying to prove by having Tea / Coffee at 3 Am in the morning??? All Dressed up and ready to Party, that too!😆
Bani has crossed her threshold, now its time to holdback : I am refraining from commenting whether getting Pia and Pushkar married at the Walia House was correct or not! On the one hand, it was utterly gutsy of Bani to do such a thing and also she really had no option, she knew that Jai would hunt them down if they get married somewhere else and would stop the marriage, so the only place she could think of was the Walia House, a place Jai wouldn't even imagine. Once again, Bani uses her brains….but on the other hand, I thought that Bani was being utterly insensitive….Jai is already hurt and shattered and Bani knows that very well….and this is just like pouring oil over fire….I don't know…..poor Jai! Bani should stop right now…not only for the sake of her safety, but mainly for Jai…he really doesn't deserve this, however obnoxious he might be right now!
Jai's reaction in today's' episode : Please guess what could be Jai' reaction be once he see's from his own eye's that Pia and Pushkar are now married….my feeling is that for once he won't lose his temper and just get into a shock mode…for now that is! And as Mohan had very incorrectly adviced him yesterday, Jai will now go into a cold, calculative revenge method mode….and payback Bani, Pia and Pushkar by the same coin…mainly Bani, because once Pia and Pushkar are married, his whole purpose of destroying them is defeated….and his focus will come to rest only on Bani and her annihilation! And Jai will use the same method that Bani has used, she played on his greatest weakness, his inability to think straight in anger and now he will play on her weakness, her helplessness in love.
Performance Barometer: It was Jai all again today….he was exceptionally good in the Temple Scene, where his eyes express a gamut of emotions as he sees the marriage taking place and then remembers his own marriage and then he walks down in total silence and sits on the steps of the temple, defeated and lonely…it was not a defeat from Bani or Pia or Pushkar, but the realization that Jai has been defeated by his own destiny, no one is to blame really! I loved the scene where he is shown sitting with Mohan at the temple steps, and from a pathetic self-pity mode to a completely revengeful one, the way he changes his tone and expression is so commendable!!! Ram Kapoor was first-class as usual….what more to say!!!
