Ghanta Awards: Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra win big

The unpopular Ghanta Awards (that recognises the worst in Bollywood every year) has just been declared and A-list ladies Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra have won big. Bachchan bahu was recognised as the Worst Actress of the year for her not-so-memorable performances in films like 'Raavan' and 'Action Replayy.'
Fans of Aishwarya Rai would be a tad disappointed that their fav lady has been chosen as the Worst while her better performances in 'Guzaarish' and 'Endhiran' have been overlooked by most award ceremonies.
Priyanka Chopra was tagged the Worst Couple of the Year along with Uday Chopra for the film 'Pyar Impossible' that was really impossible to sit through. Actor (or is he) Himesh Reshamiya was given the Worst Actor award while 'Pyaar Impossible' was chosen as the Worst Film. Worst Film award could also have been aptly given to 'Tees Maar Khan' since it was a hugely hyped film and was one of the most nonsensical movies ever made. But since the films nominated were from Diwali 2009 to Diwali 2010, TMK was spared.
'Housefull' director Sajid Khan ran away with the Worst Director trophy while 'Jailhouse Rock' from 'We Are Family' was chosen as the Worst Song. 'Blue' actors Zayed Khan and Lara Dutta were conferred with the Worst Supporting Actor/Actress trophy.
Aditya Narayan got the Worst Breakthrough award for 'Shaapit' while Vivek Oberoi's 'Prince' was named the Worst Rip-Off.
