Abhay-Piya : Got my eyes on you….

Cool episode but rather than analyzing it as a whole, let's go character wise.
1. Abhay Raichand
He truly is Piya's match, isn't he? Or maybe more. Just like Piya , if he gets something in his head , he gets to the bottom of it and sorts it out. And he can go to any lengths for the people he cares about. Be it shielding Maya's reputation by staking his own and protecting her, be it breaking the rules and saving Misha and Piya by a display of superhuman strength , be it getting to the bottom of that whole faade of Maithli's return – whatever he is committed to , he stands by it. Cherry on top? He does it with a cool head and a straight face. So, when he says that Piya is closest to him, that he trusts her , has faith in her and has opened his whole life in front of her , it bothers him somewhere inside that Piya is hiding something pivotal from him. He may say that he is bothered and disturbed because the secret disturbs Piya. But that is not the only thing. There are trust issues , there is this veil that Piya is drawing between him and her , which Abhay obviously doesn't like. Somewhere , he is seeing her as a hypocrite who lectured him for weeks about faith , trust and heart intimacy – went to the levels of madness to get his secret out but when it came to her own territory , everything is suddenly brushed under the carpet? Why? Are rules different for Abhay? I can open my heart to you but you want to play Sherlock Holmes with me?
This is the reason that even though Abhay softens now and then on Piya's disturbed state , he is clearly angry inside that Piya's rulebook changed within a snap of a finger. That is why you see him confront Piya with her own dialogues – rub it in her face and in his voiceovers where he tells her that she needn't worry about hiding his secrets , she needs to save her own neck from him because he is out to get her.
Abhay's feelings for Piya are strong , genuine but not blind yet. If he feels let down, distrusted and betrayed , he lets her know. He doesn't get emotionally wrought down like Piya did when she was trying to uncover his secret – he takes her head on and if she doesn't give in , well, just like his Piya , he too has his sneaky ways.
2. Piya Jaiswal
It is tough to judge Piya at this point , if you look at it. Arnab's secret is like her second skin , something that she has lived with and suffered every day of her life. It is the thorn in her heart that never let that 11 year old Piya grow up to love or forgive her father. She is still standing where Arnab left her. It is her most sensitive spot besides her newly found love for Abhay. And one fine day , she realizes that Abhay has found the door to her secret closet. Alarm bells go ringing , she knows what it is like to be in Abhay's shoes and shocked by Abhay's persistence and his capabilities as a supernatural, the girl is totally at her wits' end. Everytime Abhay calls her name, she speeds off like a roadrunner as though her Math Professor is calling her who has failed her in an exam. Of course, she cannot warn or threaten Abhay like he can , so she is either dodging him or else requesting him to forget all about it.
Double standards? Hypocrisy? Yes. Unreasonable. Not really. Piya knows only one thing that is SURE SHOT about Abhay besides his feelings of course. That Abhay's last name is not Raichand- it's UNPREDICTABLE. She doesn't know that how is Abhay going to handle it or how he is going to react. What will he think of Piya and her background of an illegitimate daughter? Will his attitude towards the Dobriyaals change? Above all, is she mentally and emotionally ready to lift this last veil between herself and Abhay? So, basically , Piya's mind is fuzzy and scared now and it is the mind of a timid 11 year old Piya , not the teen Piya whose faith in Abhay is blind.
3. Misha Dobriyaal.
Awwwwwww…. My munchkin. I loved it when Angad extended his help to his childhood buddy Misha. Misha is in a very clueless state right now. She is in love and she doesn't know how to handle it or whom to turn to. Pancchi's life is a racecourse owned by Sid and Piya's magnetic field starts and ends at Abhay. They try giving attention to Misha but circumstances often leave her helpless and clueless. She wants to become a girl for Shaw – a cuppy cake but she doesn't know that Shaw likes her the way she is. This is the Misha that he is drawn to. She doesn't have to be anything like T. But I guess , her feelings and her forced inferiority complex are suppressing the real Misha. Happens, Natural. But I like the way she and Angad are always there for each-other. If Misha goes out with Angad for a lunch date just to fix his mood , the lad opens his sister's wardrobe for her so that she cheers up and looks her best.
And like always, I love the way Misha looks at Abhay-Piya together. Her clear love and admiration and hopes for the couple show in that big starry eyed smile that she gives them. Today , when Abhay-Piya were locked in that romantic moment with Abhay giving Piya a thoughtful serious look and Piya going all moony-eyed again, it was only Misha who was actually enjoying watching that magic at work. Yeah, Abhay-Piya are Misha's favourite love story on the show.
4. Sid & Pancchi.
Just one line. If Pancchi doesn't break that lech's jaw and slaps Sid across the face , she should go and enroll herself in her own NGO. Today was the limit and if Pancchi can put up with this – well, then, either she is nuts about Siddharth or else she is nuts in the head. Sid turned her into a laughing stock today and he needs to be socked in the jaw. And yeah, Vahbiz, babe, lose some weight. Will you?
Moment of the day:
Abhay making no move to twirl or dip Piya. And Piya , herself taking a step ahead and putting her arms around Abhay. 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
The Principal standing up to greet Abhay. Whoa! Talk about the Raichands and their clout. Show offs? Yeah. Cool? Super Yeah! 😆😆😆😆😆😆
