APPREHENSIONS - Dev, ANNIE-ARJUN, Maan-Geet

Just a few apprehensions with the upcoming story line..

The stalker:

Who could be the stalker?....I know many of us would be thinking of Dev. Well that's what my friend Dewdropred (Hima) thinks. There may be many of us voting for Dev turning negative. Honestly I have no idea but, I do not want to see him turning into the evil one again.

Many may still want to see him punished...Alright, what he did was wrong and he should pay the penalty for that....He should be punished. Let Geet or the law decide the punishment for him. But I am not concerned about that issue today.

My concern is that, when CVs have shown that Dev was truly repentant, then why now, out of the blue, he should change his mind and go back into the darkness of sin again. This would be the most faith breaking thing for me. I do not want people to think that repentance is nothing...that one should a not trust even if the person is truly remorseful. I don't want to believe in the theory that once a sinner, always a sinner. I do not want to feel that forgiveness is not a virtue but foolishness. I don't want this serial that claims to be targeting the youth should spread a message that revenge and punishment are the only feelings that are left on the face of the earth. I don't want youngsters to believe that virtues like forgiveness, repentance, behavioural change does not exist anymore. What kind of message CVs would be promulgating to them?

On one hand they are trying to show that Annie's love will change the ARJUN's heart and mind. But on the other hand, if they are trying to bring back Dev as a negative character then.....they are hitting badly on their own values and thinking. That would be a complete double standard. How can then views believe that Arjun will change for good and remain that way?

And for the same reason...should not Darjee turn negative? Should not then Maan turn into the same rude women hater? Should not then all positive changes go back to negativity?

Options who could be the Stalker....

1 ' Arjun's plan.

2 ' Some friend of Brij....the villagers are still there...chalni's brother for example.

3 ' Could be Vicky who is not happy with his brother marriage with a married woman.

4 ' Could be Maan's first girlfriend (Sorry forgot the name)

5 ' Could be just a crazy admirer of Geet ( Like movie Darr)

BUT Please ...Please not Dev. Let's spread some positive value through the show.

ANNIE- ARJUN

Like brother like sister. Annie is going the way Maan has gone before. He purchased Indian paints to be near Geet. And Annie has also done the same. Well I am glad that at last Annie was shown with some brains. I commend CVs for their thoughtfulness. Annie is trying to bring change in Arjun. Because she knows that people are not good/ bad by birth. It's their choices and preferences in life that make them the way they are. NT has chosen a wrong path and she wants to stick on that path till eternity. Dev was on a wrong track but he reform his ways. Now its Arjun's turn......And I wish that Annie's love would bring him also back into the right path.

MAAN - GEET

Leaving aside the local bus and truck issue, why can't Geet behave normally? Have U guys noticed that Geet has suddenly become like those nagging aunts...a typical punjabi bhu/masi chatter box. She has nothing but to shout at Maan on some pretext....even when Daadi is not around. Well they not they can't get physical for medical reason...what's the big deal yaar....this happen...it is so normal. They can hug and caress each other even a kiss won't harm the baby. They can behave like they used to before marriage. Then also they were restraining themselves without making it too obvious. Why is Geet getting hyper all the time and is ready to blame Maan at the drop of a hat!

After a long long time...I have seen some comfortable, natural chemistry between Maan and Geet. I was so sick and tired of their too obvious, pretentious eye locks and wet eyes that sometimes look as fake as the fake snow. I'll call them beautiful, romantic but put on. But yesterday's 'on the truck' romance was real and magical. Hat's off to CVs for that.

varsha i never felt their emotions as fake ... for me all those emotions always looked real ....

I'm not too sure that the stalker is Dev for the exact reason you mentioned; he was truly repentant and did his part in trying to redeem himself and also he was not shown as a very strong character so I don't think he's the stalker.

Yes Dev was a frivolous character but the way he stood against NT was appreciable. And He has support of Myra...who is a very principled and strong person---'Dev's conscience' if I would say.

Another point I fully agree with & I have mentioned the same on a couple of posts is that when someone realizes their mistake and truly repents it there has to be forgiveness.

Yes the person should be duly punished and not let go scottfree but after the punishment unless the person is forgiven and given a chance for rehabilitation how can we expect the society to improve.

True Dee....I love the way U have described it. If there is no rehabilitation then what will be the meaning of forgiveness and reunion.

Are we trying to say that if you have committed a crime and are punished duly and are repenting and want to be good we won't forgive you so you continue to be bad as there's no chance for rehabiliation what kind of a message is this?

Absolutely agree. I wish CVs would hear our cry. ...or will we be proved the lone travelers on this road.

Regarding who the stalker is; at first I did think it was Sameera - Maan's ex but then she would have addressed the card to Maan not Geet & also stalked Maan.

You are right......but maybe is doing it because she cannot win over Maan bt she can somehow scare Geet.

I don't think it's Arjun. I sometimes feel NT has something to do with it....you know faking her coma etc........but that too seems unlikely......

A very strong possibility....we could expect anything from her.

Also we still don't know whether this stalker is truly & fully -ve or the person has some other ulterior motive......like the Darr track.....we'll have to wait and see.....just hope the CV's don't drag this too long.....

I hated Darr movie...I personally hate such ideas. I'll be very happy if CVs do not choose this option.

Annie realized that Arjun is not really bad just misguided so she's trying to get him on the right track.....just hoe she remains strong and not act too silly as Arjun did disrespect her and needs to realize & pay for that

Agree. Annie need to be shown a strong willed, sensible woman. enough of being silly just out of the college girl pinning for a hunk.

Yeah I too feel Geet is shown as this silly nagging wife all of a sudden......I'm not very happy about it......a little Nhok-Jhok and naughtiness is fine but it sometimes borders on nagging and silliness and that's not very appealing......

Ab koi CV ko bhi to bataye yeh baat. zayada meetha bhi kadwa ho jaata hai.

Also could never understand why couldn't they share the correct reason for not consummating their marriage with Daadi.......she's aware of everything and is shown as a modern broadminded and understanding person......so why all this drama......wouldn't it be better to just tell her the truth instead of getting her worried everytime she sees these two argue.........the CV's are sometimes quite silly and illogical....& weren't Geet and Maan asked to go for a follow-up checking.......couldn't they just do that......

Well wonder how long these CV's are going to drag this stay away from each other and the stalker track......hope it doesn't get too tedious

Varsha i want Dev to be punished for his crime but i don't want him to turn negative.............i agree with u when cvs have shown how he was repenting so much and how he used to always tell Meera that i have committed so many sins until now given so much pain to MAANEET so atleast now i want to do everyting possible to give them happiness.............he was so happy when Meera told him abt howt Maan filled Geet's maang and Dev always wanted to stop NT and her evil plans to harm MAANEET................when cvs have shown that Dev is truly repenting he has changed then again making him negative is a bit illogical.............i wudn't mind if dev comes back and is still regretting and then if MAANEET punish him it is fine but i don't want to see Dev negative now..............from the promo i had thought arjun 1st and then dev but now not sure............... dev has acted according to others' plans be with NT and committed the sin or only after Meera gave him the needed support and courage he was ready to face Geet and tell Maan the truth..............dev needed someone' support before and he does change colours but v have seen that now dev has gone thru a drastic change now he has become strong he can take his own decisions to some extent atleast and not be a puppet in NT's hands now he was ready to go against NT's wishes, he even gave her divorce papers..............so cvs shud be careful before changing his character now...............

Arjun is just unaware of the whole truth but still he stopped anni frm committing suicide and did not even tell Maan truth abt Anni and himself after reception as he had earleir planned.........what arjun did to anni was really disgu*ting he seemed worse than dev................right now arjun is burning in the flame of revenge and his blind love for his sis but once truth will be out he wud change..................but not sure whether anni wud forgive him and does he deserve her forgiveness..............anyways this is not the matter of cocnern now...........

Earlier i had thought arjun might be doing this bcuz he might be trying to find if watevr anni told him regarding MAANEET and NT is true or not............but then the article said stalker will be following MAANEET to shimla but arjun is in delhi so arjun ruled out............

may be bcuz they might have got the news to how once again MAANEET have sent brij to jail so they might be planning to hurt Geet

hopefully anni will succeed in making arjun see the truth................and rem initially arjun did seem to be man of principles like how he advised Geet the 1st time he met her eventhough he was unaware of who she was............later wat he did with anni.......he became worst than an animal.........i'm proud of anni now..............she is acting like a strong girl instead of begging arjun or committing suicide so hoepfully she will succeed in changing arjun for the better...............

i'm sorry dear but i kind of liked the whole track so far...........i mean how initially Maan was trying to hide the truth frm Geet............then Geet came to know the truth and now how both r trying to divert their minds playing snake and ladder lol..............i just hope cvs don't drag this too much........i think MAANEET r very comfortable to talk abt it to each other like when Maan tells Geet how he always feels like taking her in his arms but has to stop himself everytime...........they were at ease when he was saying this but i guess they r not comfortable telling all this to dadi...........dadi is modern i agree she wud surely understand but MAANEET telling her i doubt it will happen..............but if dadi comes to know the reason somehow she will be proud of MAANEET noe?..........
