Why they should repeat the characters which were vicious in the CB..These negative characters specially Amma ji left bitter taste in your mouth..At one point or the other you are going to remember her evil ways....When CB 2 is coming with fresh story with all new actors then why to repeat....Agreed Gopi Desai is seasoned actor and she was doing her job, but even then there was un-neccessary viciousness....Why they are so obsessed with negative characters, if it is DJ,s production then i hope they should come in to their old form ...Want something different and original like the previous one with less negativity....

Here based on this article they have twisted it a bit...... the badi bahu that is Mrinus character is taiji for Dev and since the Vibhas character is her Devrani then it might be Devs chachi. Anyway you are right that they maintaining the essence of the old characters.
