| Kabir haan Kabir naa Faruk Kabirs statements of being a bachelor are false;he has been married for over a year to actress Rukhsar Vickey.Lalwani @timesgroup.com The secret is out.Faruk Kabir of Allah Ke Banday fame,claimed to be a bachelor,is actually a married man.In fact,Faruk confessed to this yesterday on one of his social network accounts.The filmmaker has been married to actress Rukhsar who was earlier linked with Ram Gopal Varma.Rukhsar is a divorcee and she made her silver screen debut with Yaad Rakhegi Duniya (1992) and,Inteha Pyaar Ki later that year.After that,it took as many as 13 years for her to make a comeback with D (2005),an RGV production,in which she starred opposite Randeep Hooda.Later,she made an appearace in RGVs Sarkar.Faruk and Rukhsar were in a relationship for six long years before they tied the knot last year,but Faruk never mentioned her to others,not even his close friends. When contacted,Rukhsar said,Faruk and I fell in love in 2005.We first met in Mumbai on March 23. At this point,Faruk said,We married too on March 23 (2010).To tell you the truth,it wasnt love at first sight.Pehle hum dost thhe,baad mein pyaar hua. When asked about her previous marriage,Rukhsar said,I live only in the present.Yes,I am married to Faruk and now only he matters to me.We are very happy with each other. And Faruk is a proud husband too.He said,She is a very brave woman.I was very impressed with the way she gathered herself after her bad marriage and started leading life afresh. Did her link-up with Varma bother Faruk No.It didnt, said Faruk,I trust her completely. But why declare the marriage after a year Replied Rukhsar,We wanted Faruk to settle down a bit in his career.Allah Ke Banday received a lot of critical acclaim and even won him many nominations at the Filmfare Awards.I think he is now on track. Faruk Kabir admits to his marriage to Rukhsar Faruk Kabir who debuted as an actor and director in critically acclaimed film Allah Ke Bande and actress Rukhsar who is best remembered for film Sarkar and variety of ads and will be seen in Yash Raj's new TV show Kismet admit to their marriage. Faruk Kabir says, " Rukhsar and I have been in love since last six years. Rukhsar is the favourite of the family and my mother and sister get along with her fabulously. We got married on 23rd march 2010. She has been a big pillar of strength and she recognized my talent and passion for cinema when I was just a struggling writer trying to discover myself. She is the best part of my life". Faruk and Rukhsar are both concentrating on their careers and are very happy with the way life together is shaping up. If they get any offer to act together they are surely open. |
