P.S I love you, I was like wondering if another page would come up so I could read on.

A Walk to remember - I so dont want to digest the end of Jamie.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Jeez, I was like it's over, no more Harry Potter

Am not particularly a person who is into reading novels n all....(since i read Science related stuff more ).....but then, there was a biography which left me with that ''special feeling''. It was on Kalpana Chawla. Have read it almost 3-4 times since it's very inspiring.

Love this topic =)

- Anne of Green Gable series.. love each book and have practically grown up reading them. First book starts with a little daydreaming girl being adopted and by the last one she is a grown married woman, with 6 kids. It's beautiful the way you grow with her throughout the series.

Harry Potter series: huge fan of HP so always enjoy reading the books again and again.

To kill a mockingbird: loved this one since I first read it in school for a project. The best thing about it was the strong characters and the countless social messages the book had.

Family Tree, by Barbara Delinsky: one of my fav books from the recent lot I've read.. definitely was left with that "special feeling" after finishing it. Made me want to go and look up more of her books to read which I did and loved them too.

Definitely To Kill A Mockingbird, also Gone with the WInd and Wuthering Hights... the "special" feeling differs depending on the novel. But I think the impact TKAMB had was very different and special.

I have to agree with the Harry Potter books.
I also loved Seabiscuit and most recently The Pillars of the Earth. I grew to love that book (Pillars) and all the characters so much that I was sad to finish the book.
There are counteless others but those are the two that came immediately to mind.

The Sands of Time by Sidney Sheldon was possibly the first book to really move me. I don't know what it was about it that moved me so much, but I remember thinking about it for days.

Harry Potter series. I never really saw these books as anything more than commercial potboilers so you could say I was pleasantly surprised reading the first one. I'd suggest anyone who thinks the HP series as a series of children's books to pick the first one and read a literary analysis of it before judging it by the cover.

The Kite Runner. I can still remember the instant effect this book had on me. And I still haven't completely got over that.

The God of Small Things. Beautifully poetic language. I almost felt as though I am living through the characters.
