Yami Gautam wished to be a 'guy' after reading husband Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar's script: 'Such an amazing..'

The script is so brilliant. It’s such an amazing world,” she had told News18, referring to the Ranveer Singh led spectacle.

While her admiration for the film was clear, Yami was equally firm about maintaining professional distance from her husband work. She emphasized that personal relationships never interfere with casting or creative choices. “Regardless, I don’t have that expectation. We respect that professional line. I don’t think that line should be blurred. We’re very clear about it,” she had said. She further explained that the understanding between them was established early on and remains intact to this day. “If he feels that somebody else is a better fit for a part that he’s writing, I would be absolutely fine with it. This understanding was there since the very beginning.”
