Ok, first of all, lets not compare this show to BBB b/c it will take people decades to think of something close to BBB. It was the one and only show where we don't see saas bahu torture, main lead (girl) giving up everything and calling it a "sacrifice" or the girl with sleeveless sarees trying to snatch someone else husband.
It was a show filled with every emotion of life. It shows reality. It showed the problems that people can face in real life (be it baa forgetting to give her daughter a dose of polio, upbringing of gattu, or problems that a child and father faced regarding the child's career). It shows how a family shares joy and sorrow together. Sorry no offense, par agar ekta kapoor aur rajan shahi milkar bhi saat janmon mein aisa show nahi bana sakte.
Now back to the review of the first show. Besides taarak mehta (good) and FIR (average), Sab really doesn't have any brilliant content. However, with Mrs. Tendulkar in their pocket, I think they have hit bulls-eye. The show starts out with the farewell of the old manager and his wife leaving the house. The farewell scene brings a smile to your face. Urnila teasing the lady who is confused about everything and the lady who speaks perfect hindi was quite good. However, as soon as Deven and his family enters, the show gets even better. The one liners like yeh to mummy ko Kachre ke dabbe mein se mili thi and really makes u chuckle. Now, all the ladies of the society are try to decide the expression before entering the house wasn't anything spectacular. However, the precap looks interesting.
Overall, the first show was very good. 8/10.
