I'll go with Prisoner of Azkaban. The acting was quite decent there unlike the first two Potter movies which made me cringe. The pacing was very good; not for an instant did I feel bored. Good background score, and more than anything else, it did not omit much from the book. It was possibly the most faithful adaption of the book, after CoS maybe, but I thought CoS was a bit too faithful, to the point that it dragged to a great extent.

So yeah, your choice?

so far, definitely Deathly Hallows part 1, no question!! and this coming from someone who loves the books wayyyy more, and have always been quite critical of the movies. but this one, i really enjoyed it and watched it 5 times in the theater!!!! lolll
in all honesty, every single person i've spoken with, loved the film and believed it to be the best potter film yet. and many of these people are non-HP fans. some of them don't even like HP, but they liked this one. i haven't met a single person who disliked it.
and like you, i really liked the 3rd one too 😊 its my 2nd fav HP movie so far. the HP movie that i quite detested, was the 4th one: Goblet of fire. goshhhh...that one was quite unbearable to watch. from the ugly, long, boys' hair-cuts to the seriously over-acting, the movie thoroughly disappointed. thank god they got rid of the director from that one, and got david yates later on.

For me, all the movies are very appealing and something I wait for every yea..(can't believe its going to end!), but my favourite HP movie would definitely be Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows Part 1 followed by Order of the Phoenix and then Goblet+HBP, then Prisoner of Azkaban and then the the Chris Columbus movies.

I loved POA. It was thrilling and gripping to the core for me since I hadn't read the book then.

Deathly Hallows Part 1 for me, followed by OoTP and PoA. This is the one which I felt really captured the essence of the book.

Deathly Hallows Part 1.

Because this movie did what none of the other movies have ever done so very much: Faithfully follow the book.

They got the characters right this time around too.

All other Parts were Awesome too though always disappointed if compared to books but knew its not possible to incorporate, adapt all the book.
