Time to go sightseeing in Chennai with Selvam as he searches high and low for Priya on Tuesday

Update for Tues, Jan 18, 2010:

Vasu is attending to phone calls asking for RS. Finally, he calls home and Mangalam answers, with the same reply: Mama still missing. She thinks something may have happened to him. Soon after, Vasu gets a call, and we can see him saying Appidiya? Enge? Seri, seri, naan ipovae varen, with a shocked look on his face.

Selvam's house - Archu and Bhanu sitting outside Bhanu's front door, Archu's dad pacing up and down, Selvam and Shiva come in, Selvam looks at Archu, Archu doesn't look at him. Dheena is following them. Selvam goes into the house (oru room housekku housenu sollalama?), and is shocked - Priya is lying down on Sivagami's lap. Apparently, she went to commit suicide, remembered the baby and realized that he would be crying for milk, and so came back. Everyone is glad. Priya sees Dheena, asks him why he is there, and asks Selvam to kick him out. Selvam says she should thank Dheena, because her mother was having a wheezing attack after hearing that Priya had run away, and right then, Dheena's call came saying that he saw Priya at the railroad tracks, and she ran away when he called out. It was only after hearing that Priya had been seen, alive, that Sivagami's attack subsided, and if it were not for Dheena, she would be in the hospital now.

Dheena leaves, and Selvam goes and tells Archu to come inside, which she does, very reluctantly. He tells her to give the baby to Priya, she doesn't move, he repeats, and finally he says Do you know who the real mother of this baby is? and Sivagami and SRK are shocked. Both of them say Maappillai!, he says he is going to tell her, and Sivagami says she knows what he is going to say, and she will say it in a better way, and proceeds to tell the story of the king, who was faced by two women claiming the same baby, and he decreed that the baby should be cut in two, so the real mother said not to cut the baby. Similarly, Priya decided not to commit suicide because of the baby, she has the real thai paasam (idhuvum oru logical reasoning thaan!), Selvam urges Archana to give the baby or else he will have no further relationship with her (inge mattum thaan indha merattalum dhairiyamum, Bhagyam kitte, Vasu kitte ellam yen illai?) Finally, Archu gives the baby to Priya, everyone is happy, Selvam tells Archu to cook for everyone and he and A's dad go to get the necessary stuff. Sivagami moves off to konjufy her grandson, and Archu looks thoughtful.

Will this Priya and Archu business never end?

Update for Wed, Jan 19, 2010:

Vasu goes looking for his FIL in the lumber yard, where he is drinking with his goondas watching. Vasu asks him why, and he says it is to forget the insults. Vasu threatens to kill whoever insulted his FIL, and then RS tells him that it was Bhagyam who stopped his car, told the gathered crowd how he did not help her out and is now plotting to get her house transferred so that she can be out on the streets. RS says he didn't do anything to her because she is a woman and his sambandhi. Vasu is furious and says he will take care of her, mother or not.

Archu and Priya sitting with Bhanu, the baby cries, Priya runs inside, picks him up, says Don't cry, mom is here to give you milk, Archu is watching in anger. To add fuel to the fire, Bhanu says Look at Priya, she runs the minute the baby cries to give him milk. Bhanu continues - The baby also calms down when she picks him up, it is as if he thinks she is his mother. Archu is furious and vows to get rid of Priya from her house as soon as possible.

The only nice part of today's show - Poonga returns from his drain cleaning job, hands over the vegetables to Bhagyam. She sniffs, says she smells saakadai, he says he cannot smell anything, must be the saakadai in the backyard. She says the smell came only after he came home. He tells her to get food ready for him, and goes and takes another shower and comes out, looking white from the neck down. I think he must have emptied two whole powder dabbas on himself - I thought they were expensive now? She gives him a funny look, he says he had prickly heat, she wants to know how he can have prickly heat in Margazhi? She says now the smell is gone, he says the only smell he gets is the sambar smell and proceeds to eat with relish.

The episode is such a bore - bullet points update thaan - Roja kku athuve periya effort aa irukku !!

LR 1 continues that "gutter smell only from you" point and infers that Park maama
must have water beaten - appeals to his "good" sense saying that Raani's in-laws
might come to know this and maanam will go in the kappal (if any maanam is left,
that is !!) Park maama diverts the attention by asking about the confrontation with
RS and LR 1 says that she could not meet RS himself but gave a bit of her mind to
all his cronies -"I am sure that they would have informed him - verbatim and RS
will keep off " Park is happy that the gutter smell is forgotten.

Kavya and Sori - Kavya calls Sori to watch Britney Spears doing a "bare-dare
dance/song" session. Sori says that they should not indulge in such luxuries
" no romance pls." Kavya cries - Intha track is plain Uvva Uvva , Roja kku thaangalai.

RS is water beating in some lodge and as usual his crony is singing an ashthoram
" RS aa ya namahaa, kOmbu seeval specialist aa ya namaha" RS beams and finally
calls Mangu to inform that all is well with him. Mangu raves and rants and finally
says that DSDR is not back home - "like FIL like SIL " RS is happy to hear this and
tells his crony " SIL will do some thilla langadi velai and get the signature from LR 1 " Wonderful SIL enna panraar??? Scaling the walls of his parental home - an
inspector who is patrolling sees him, learns that he is the SIL of RS and assists
him in scaling the wall - after DSDR spins some cock and bull story...DSDR is
on to his thilla langadi velai...
