Kesar replacement a failure

The new actor is unable to convey the complex character of Kesar effectively. She has no expression on her face and her eyes are blank. The old Kesar did not even need to speak, her eyes spoke volumes.

And the new Kesar is also unable to carry off the clothes; Kalpana Bora used to look regal in the Thakurain outfits, she suited the clothes perfectly. The new Kesar looks like she is playing dress-up.

However, to her credit, she has got the accent perfectly and her voice does convey lots of emotion. He face just doesn't match her words.

I think the production house needs to find a better Kesar.

I do agree she ahs to work a lot to get into the char...lets give more chance!
we smtimes dissect so much that CVs seem to be left perlpexed..
We lost Mathurs ..Aman-Anu track coz of this....

i think we as veiwers are habitual of seeing kalpanan in kkesar's character.................but the new actor is also nice...........she needs to be given some more time some intence scenes lyk KB.............to prove her talent...........for me she was good only thing i didn't find nice was she most of the time speak dialouge while looking down...........dyunno why.............hope she improve this......

We humans dont like changes....had kalpana replaced aalika, ur reaction wud ve been the same.....we r so used to old kesar that we cant think anyone taking her place.....but aalika is putting a lot of effort.....she is doing a great job.....give her some time

i think the old kesar was really good .... i only started to appricate her acting, when shakti gave her the milk, that secene was awsome ..... but even then i was feeling bad for kesar the woman who had to endure so much pain, but not much as wooow that is good actress who did a good job ..... it was more the way the writer had written her character rather then kalpna's acting .... i might be wrong in my views but i think people r more attached to kesar the character then kalpna who played the character ..... also kesar's character was not the lead, if amma ji or komal were to replace, then i would miss them, they have that extra oomph, in the way they potrayed their characters .....

now a days almost all the serials we see replacements and they are very successful too. just an example, in sanjog se bani sangini the nani character who was initially played my the very very talented actress sudha chandren is replaced and she is doing fantastic job FROM THE DAY ONE. we were wondering how she is going to put her self in the highly talented sudha chandren's shoes. the replacement actress.... i don't even know her name, carrying over that character excellently.all the credit goes to the CVs who did a suitable selection👏.

yup i too agree keasar replacement is a BIG failure .... nd as pragati rightly put in .. her most ANNOYN habit is dat lookn down n speaknnn .... she rarely luks into da eyes n speaks ... kesar was far more btr dat way .... nvs for me KESAR vl alwaysss rock!!!

No guys......its not a failure....aalika fits into the character very well.....the casting team must have auditioned hundreds of ppl before finalizing her.....how wud aalika feel if she reads this post???.....give her some time....n im sure she'll win ur hearts

i'm glad u spoke the words out of my mouth. she has no screen presence - bole tho - she just isn't pretty in that get up. i'd hate for her to loose her job, ... so decided to give her more time though. 😊
