Part 1

Ragini Rajvansh couldn't believe her ears. Sakshi? Sakshi had it in her to do something like this? No, Ragini told herself. Sakshi had to be stuck in some sort of a predicament. Zaroor kuch majboori thi uski. Ragini felt like sobbing, screaming, sinking into the floor and just wallowing there for eternity. However, she had to be strong, for the sake of her daughters. What was she to do? Should she have called the police? What if her brother and jija ji needed help? Suddenly, a realization struck her with such vigor that she actually had to steady herself. Anmol! His words resonated in her ears as she closed her eyes and spoke them herself. Main aapke liye kuch bhi karsakta hu. Fresh tears welled up in Ragini's eyes and threatened to fall, but she held them back and grabbed her cell phone. Her fingers shook as she dialed Anmol's number - something she had done countless times before, in happy times, sad times, uncertain times, but never in a situation quite like this. The phone hardly rang for a few seconds before a calm and suave voice answered it. Hello, Ragini? That did it. Ragini gave up controlling her emotions as she sobbed uncontrollably into the phone. She told him about everything that had transpired after he left - how the kids never returned from school and how Sakshi had called demanding ransom in exchange for their welfare. Anmol stayed silent as she spoke, and only started talking when she finished. Ragini, please sahma liye apne aap ko. Main hoon na, I won't let anything happen to our kids. Ragini struggled to get a grip of herself. Anmolji, aap kya karne wale hai? But Anmol remained elusive and simply reassured her. Ragini, bas main hoon na? I'll take care of everything. With that, he hung up the phone, and Ragini's mind was whirling with questions. Woh kya karaynge? Kya apne khud ki jaan khatara meh dalaynge Khushi aur Tamanna ko bachane ke liye? Nahi! Main yeh kabhi nahi hone doongi. Mujhe waha jana hoga! Bachon ki aur Anmolji ki mere zaroorat hai! Ragini grabbed her phone and ran outside. She hastily slipped into the car as she instructed the driver to go to the old caverns where Sakshi had told her the kids were being held.

Iam more than two months late , but I love reading FFs now thanks to some amazing writers in this forum, you being one of them.😳. Thanks for this OS.😳

Part 2

Anmol Rajvansh couldn't believe his eyes.

Sakshi, Tamanna, and Khushi were all standing behind Alekh, shivering in fear. All four of them were being held at gunpoint by the psychotic Tarun.

Anmol clenched his fists. "I could kill him with my bare hands." he thought to himself.

Suddenly, Sakshi caught his eye, and her eyes widened. Anmol quickly signaled her to keep quiet. Sakshi nodded and pulled Tamanna and Khushi towards her into a hug. They buried their faces in her sari and were oblivious to the presence of their loving father and friend. By now, Alekh had also become aware of Anmol's presence and decided to take advantage of the situation by distracting Tarun.

"So, are you really going to shoot all of us? You know I'm a Rajvansh don't you? My family will never let you get away with this." Alekh taunted.

Tarun's face turned a bright red. "Shut up. If you want to get out of here alive, you better do as I say. Toss me your cell phone."

Alekh obeyed as Anmol stealthily crept up towards Tarun.

At that moment Ragini came running into the cavern. The scene before her made her heart come up to her throat. She lost all sense of reality and perception. All she saw were her two angels facing a loaded gun. She let out a blood curdling scream, and anyone who heard it could not have forgotten it, no matter how hard they tried.

Tarun whipped around and saw a shell shocked Anmol staring at an equally shell shocked Ragini. He raised his gun aiming at Anmol's back, his movement breaking Ragini out of her spell.

"ANMOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

*BANG*

A bullet shot out of Tarun's gun and barely missed Anmol who dove out of the way and stumbled into Ragini who caught him. The bullet ended its flight path into the side of the narrow cave which caused an explosive myriad of flying rocks and rubble. The entire wall gave way as Anmol and Ragini desperately sprinted out of the way. Anmol yanked Ragini towards his chest, and pulled her to the ground, shielding her from the falling debris. After what seemed like eternity, the cave-in pulled to a close. A soaring wall of boulders had separated Anmol and Ragini from the rest of the cave ' and the outside world.

Ragini opened her eyes and found herself clinging to Anmol's shirt. "Khushi and Tamanna." She gasped. "My God, are they okay?" Suddenly, Alekh's voice cut through the silence. "RAGINI! TAMMY KE PAPA! ARE YOU THERE?"

Anmol shouted back "WE'RE FINE! BHAIYA, THE KIDS!"

"EVERYONE IS FINE. SAKSHI TOOK KHUSHI AND TAMANNA OUTSIDE. BUT TARUN GOT HIT BY A BOULDER. HE ISN'T WAKING UP."

Anmol could not muster any sympathy. "Forget about him. You need to take Sakshi and the kids straight home. Ragini and I will be fine."

Alekh was shocked. "Tammy ke Papa, we can't just leave you here!"

"Yes you can. I had called the police while I was on my way here. They will be here soon and they will get us out. Please, all of you go home."

Alekh decided there was nothing he could do for Anmol and Ragini at the moment. "Alright, but please be careful. Sakshi and I are coming back after we take Khushi and Tamanna home.

Anmol acknowledged this and listened quietly as he heard the sound of Alekh's footsteps fade away. He suddenly realized Ragini was no longer holding onto him and turned to find her crawled up in a fetal position, crying.

Anmol kneeled in front of her and took her gently by the shoulders. "Ragini? Ragini, please don't do this. Everyone is safe. Khushi and Tamanna are going home. And we will get out of here, I promise." Smiling, he lifted her chin and forced her to meet his gaze. He marveled at how her deep, dark eyes could make him feel like he was in paradise, even when being in a terrifying situation like they were in now.

Ragini's eyes continued to bear tears. "An-Anmolji, I'm sorry. I made everything worse. I couldn't even stop myself from screaming. I put all of you in danger. And I caused you pain ' like I always seem to do.

Anmol's smile faded so quickly, one could have wondered if it was ever there.

"Cause me pain? What are you talking about?" he asked in a cold manner that surprised Ragini.

Ragini lowered her eyes. "I know how agonizing these past seven years have been for you. If I had only known about the sacrifice you were making! I would have never allowed you to go through with it."

Anmol was just lost. And suffering from a severe migraine. He rubbed his throbbing temples. "Ragini, with all due respect, what the hell are you talking about?"

Now Ragini began to grow irritated. "Why is it so hard for you to admit it? I know the truth! You don't have to hide it from me anymore!"

"Damn it, Ragini, what truth?"

"I know that you love Shivani!"

Part 3

Anmol wasn't sure if he heard Ragini correctly. Shivani? What? The tension of seeing everyone he loved in danger was probably making him lose his mind.

"Ragini, what did you just say?"

Ragini looked as though she wanted to kill him.

"Please Anmol! How long are you going to deny it? I know that you and Shivani were involved in the past. And I know that she still loves you very much. Why are you-"

Anmol had heard enough.

"Stop it Ragini! For someone who has 20/20 vision, how can you be so blind? Have you really not noticed for the past seven years how much I have struggled with my feelings for -

"ALEKH! SAKSHI! KHUSHI! TAMANNA!"

Ragini knew that voice anywhere.

"Bhaiya! Oh God, we're in here!"

"Ragini? What on earth? What are you doing here?"

"She's with me." Anmol spoke up. "Vineet Bhaiyya, Alekh and Sakshi have gone home with the kids. I suggest you do the same. Ragini and I will be fine until the police get here."

"But happened with Tarun? I have the money he asked for."

Anmol let out a bitter laugh.

"Tarun became a victim of his own games."

Ragini spoke up.

"Bhaiyya, can you go home and tell everyone we are all right? Especially Khushi and Tamanna, I don't want them to be worried about me or Anmol."

Vineet, like Alekh, was hesitant to leave his little sister there, but he knew there was no one on the planet that could take care of Ragini more than Anmol. He put a hand to the wall of rocks that separated him from his sister.

"Anmol, please take care of my sister. I'll go and tell everyone what happened."

As soon as Vineet had departed, Ragini's mind went straight to the conversation she was having with Anmol moments ago. She almost laughed at the fact that she was stranded in a cave, and all she could think about was what Anmol was going to say to her. She turned to look at him and found him leaning against the wall, with folded arms and a very solemn expression.

Her heart skipped a beat at seeing him so intense...and so handsome. She blushed and quickly pushed those thoughts aside.

"Anmol?"

His intense gaze landed on her, and Ragini almost regretted saying anything. The expression in his eyes scared her. What was in his eyes? Anger? Fear?

Anmol walked over to her, his eyes never leaving hers.

"Ragini, I think you were right about us. We just can't be tied down to this fake marriage for the rest of our lives. After all these years of being married to you and telling you how much I love being a part of this family, you just forget all of that and believe Shivani's lies when she tells you that I still love her? Do you really think I am so fickle?"

Ragini felt her heart pounding against her chest and tears began to slide down her cheeks.

"Anmol, there is no one in this world who I respect more than you."

Anmol wanted to pound his fist into the wall. But he restrained himself, because no matter what happened, Ragini was the love of his life, and he would never do anything to frighten her. He did wish, however, that he could restrain his tongue like he could his fist.

"If you respect me, then how could you try and separate me from Tammy? You know how much she needs me and how much I need her, but I guess Shivani's words just have more weight to you than the past seven years we've shared."

More tears trickled down Ragini's face, however, this time; they were not tears of hurt but of anger.

"Can you honestly blame me for believing Shivani? How could I not? When you came into my life, I knew nothing about you. All I knew was that you were a wealthy bachelor who promised Ranvir to take his place after he died. I-I was so scared back then. I had no idea why someone like you would want anything to do with me. I was a widow with two children who depended on me, and there you were, just ready to take care of us. It seemed too good to be true, and you know what? For a long time, I thought it was too good to be true. I thought a morning would come where I would wake up and you would be nowhere to be found. And then Shivani shows up, and she's so beautiful, and sophisticated, and I can see why anyone would fall in love with her. And she tells me things about your past that I never knew, that I never bothered to ask. I really thought I was keeping you away from someone you loved and wanted to be with. I am sorry for falling into Shivani's trap, but it kills me that you think I would ever want to cause you pain. Giving you those divorce papers was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my entire life, but I did it because I thought it was what you wanted."

A very honest confession by Ragini 👏which was what was needed actually in Bidaai but Cvs choose to overlook that for some meaningless dances.

Ragini was now sobbing.

"When Ranvir and Sadhna died, my heart broke into a million pieces. But they left me with these two beautiful daughters who took my heart and put it back together, so that I- so that I could give it to you."

Anmol was simply stunned, but Ragini wasn't finished.

"I love you Anmol."

Simple but to the point making her view very clear.👏
