Anushka Sharma who is riding high on the success of Band Baaja Baarat is not a material girl.

The young lass is strongly against endorsing expensive bags. Anushka says, "I don't think actresses should flaunt their branded bags. It sets a wrong trend and misleads young girls who cannot afford them.

They get influenced and thus pressurise their parents to let them work in a call centre, so that they can earn enough money to afford such bags."

The actress makes a candid confession, "In fact I bought my first branded bag recently while shooting for Patiala House in London. I went to a high end shop and fell in love with this expensive bag.

It took me three days to decide whether to buy it or not. I even harrowed my mom and called her many times in those three days to ask whether I should spend so much on a bag or not."

Normally Anushka comes across quite sweet and level-headed - or maybe i just havent read enough of her interviews! But here i just dont get her at all!

She says actresses shouldnt flaunt branded bags and then buys one herself? And the thing about girls working in call centres - really? so its wrong for young girls to become independent and work, which is what she does herself anyway 😕

That's some mighty reasoning about call centre girls...I thought they would be motivated to work to pay for minor things like electricity or something

And after all that harrowing about the bag, she could have at least revealed the brand😉

I know right - im sure young girls working in call centres arent there for handbags

So much fuss about her buying an expensive bag, LMAO its a normal thing that non bollywood people buy brand bags etc.. I guess some bollywood stars havent noticed that yet😆

well...the call center jobs do have some issues like sexual harrasment from bosses and team leaders, and bad working conditions like the odd hours and stress from some abusive customers n stuff....its not "the ideal job"....but such things can happen in any normal 9-5 job...not just a call centre job

What is she talking about? We shouldn't buy branded bags..I bought one for myself..don't work in a call centre? 😆
