i just started watching this show around a week ago (in canada, so we're still wayyy back from the current track) and was wondering what this show is about??
vrinda vs sandhya?? not getting anything, if someone can fill me up quickly, thanks!

n what happened with sunni chachi ? she was punished by having to clean the house n her parents wer kicked out of their house?? 😲

Sandhya married a person who was a eunuch but after some time she came to know the fact and she tried to escape with his friend neeraj who used to love sandhya but could not succeed in telling her his feelings. But unfortunately her husband yuvraj and his uncle DK found her out and they again dragged her to the haveli and pushed neeraj into the valley. Sandhya didn't tolerate it anymore and made her own accident. Later the jagirdars failed to find her body and they thought may be she is dead. Gayatri devi who was not in good relationship with jagirdars found her and treated her into the hospital. Sandhya then got her eye sight back and now she is back in the jagirdar family with a new name 'vrinda' to take the revenge about what they have done with her and in this mission Gayatri devi too is helping her out whose daughter has been killed by jagirdars.

About suni chachi she used to do all the haveli work because she tried to reveal yuvraj's secret to sandhya's dad and also her parents were punished and brought on the road but later when sandhya came back in the haveli she gave them all that what jagirdars snatched from them.

I live here in Ottawa, Canada and the track they play it here is about a month or less behind the current track. So I watch all the episodes online.


To sum up everything.

Sandhya is a blind girl from a family of 5 sisters, who have all married happily, or so we think. The other 4 sisters also have some personal matters in their life as well, but little compared to main protagonist -Sandhya.

Sandhya is being married to Yuvraj - who comes from a very rich and powerful family. His family secretly trying to marry Sandhya to Yuvraj. And Yuvraj is actually a eunuch. He is neither a man or a women, but is brought up as a man. He just can't reproduce. In the middle of the marriage, her father overhears the conversation of the Jagirdar family's plot when Sunita tried to expose it. Sandhya's father being caught by DK and is gagged and he is killed by suffocation. Than the Jagirdar family conceal the murder by framing it as a suicide. Everyone later in the wedding sees the father hanged.

After a long depression over her father, Sandhya than enters the Jagirdar family where she is introduced to everyone. Everyone in the family plays a good role towards her. Yuvraj than hires Neeraj to secretly have intercourse with Sandhya so that she may deliver a child to the Jagirdar family who will be the child of Yuvraj and heir of the family, not to mention that the outsiders will never happen to know about Yuvraj's secret. Neeraj fails to attempt to secretly have intercourse with Sandhya. As he loves her and wants everything for her well being.

Neeraj is frustrated by the family's despicable act that he tells Sandhya everything and escapes with her. But only to be caught by DK and Yuvraj who throw Neeraj off a cliff and he is presumably killed. Sandhya is than brought back to the Haveli (house). Sandhya is than abused by Yuvraj and he tells her that if she doesn't give him a child, than he will kill her sisters. Sandhya is frightened and says that she will do whatever he tells her. By now, everyone in the family except for Sunita disrespect her and treat her poorly. Her sisters know nothing of this!

At one point, while Yuvraj is driving with Sandhya, they have a car accident. Sanhdya is thought to be killed, and Yuvraj deliberately hurts himself to make it seem that he was in on the accident to and will conceal from revealing that he killed his wife in the car accident. The sisters blame Yuvraj, who is at the hospital, for killing Sandhya. And are filling a case against him. On the other hand, Sandhya is brought in on a different hospital and is being treated. A women named Gayetri Devi encounters her. She also pays Sandhya's medical bill and assures her that they both will exact revenge on the Jagirdar Family. Sandhya, now after the accident has regained her eye sight vision again. Gayetri than plots with Sandya and tells her to disguise herself as Vrinda. Now that everyone thinks that Sandhya is dead (expect for Gayetri) no one will suspect that Vrinda is actually Sandhya.

Punkaj (Sarla's husband) one day bumps into a tapori- appearing and talking girl named Vrinda. He is shocked and later confronts her, only to find out by the villagers and by Vrinda's parents that she is a duplicate look a-like of Sandhya. The viewers of the show know that Gayetri ploted this and paid all the people in the village, including the parents to never reveal anything about Vrinda and her truth from the Jagirdar family.

Vrinda is brought back to the Jagirdar family. There, everyone expect Sunita believe that she is actually a duplicate look-alike of Sandya. Later Sandhya reveals to Sunita that she is actually Vrinda and is plotting against the Jagirdar family, and when she gains their trust, she will overtake their properties. Vrinda is than taught to act exactly like Sandhya and she is given to look at the picture album of her family and her marriage. She than correctly identifies everyone in the photo. Vrinda is than taken to court where she helps Yuvraj bail out of being held in prison from the sisters. The Jagirdar family than are forced to give Vrinda half of the properties to her claim. Since she saved Yuvraj from jail and has done allot for the family. The sisters are confused and are struggling to know what is going on.

Meanwhile, Neeraj is treated and is out of the Hospital, and now he is mute and has no memories of his past what so ever. He is than taken in by Ragu Bhai, who is a criminal leader of a gang. He turns Neeraj into a strong and loyal gang member.

After while, DK is forced to do all the chores in the house, as commanded by Vrinda who is seeking revenge against him and his punishing him for what he did to Sandhya's father. DK later finds out about who Vrinda really is. Now DK plans to reveal to the family that Vrinda is actually Sandhya and tries to get the family aware of her plans. DK is later kidnapped by Yuvraj and is tortured in front of Vrinda. Since DK had being desperately trying to commit to sabotage Vrinda but continues to fail, and at one point DK reveals Yuvraj's secret anonymously to a person hired by Gayetri Devi, who tells him that she will have all the proofs of Vrinda's disguise as long as DK tells her Yuvraj's secret. So Yuvraj furious now, than kidnaps DK. It is believed that DK is killed by Yuvraj after he tortures him. Now that DK is out of the picture, only a few more stand in Sandhya's way.

just 1 more question - in a epi here before sarla drugs vrinda's juice when they r having ministers over for dinner, yuvraj's mom says to vrinda that because of you "aaj yuvraj ka supna pura hone ja raha hai, aaj wo tumhari vajha se, duniya ke aagey baap kehel aayega" n "aadhi jayedaat toh tumhare naam ho hi gayi hai, baaki aagey bhi hum woh karenge jo humse ban payega"

In one of the episode, DK reveals Yuvraj's secret and exposed it to a women hired by Gayetri Devi. At that time, DK was desperately trying to expose that Vrinda is actually Sandhya to the entire Jagirdar family. Of course, DK found out that it really is Sandhya and she has returned as an impostor to take revenge against the Jagirdar family. Since DK failed to expose Sandhya, he later gets a anonymous phone call from a women who is hired by Gayetri. This person tells DK that if DK privately reveals Yuvraj's secret to her than she will give DK all the evidence that is needed to expose Vrinda as Sandhya. And in return, DK would also have to pay a large amount of money for this as well. So DK than steals from the house the amount of money needed. Of course than Vrinda gets Yuvraj and catches him. After this event, Gayetri made multiple CDs and threatened to expose to everyone of what DK had told that women. And this shocks Yuvraj because if the whole world finds out about his sexuality, than he has no choice but to commit suicide.


So now Vrinda suggests that she will pretend to be pregnant so that the outsiders and civilians will think that Yuvraj is having a child with his wife. In this sense, the CDs that Gayetri had made will be useless since people would now can't even imagine to think about Yuvraj being a eunuch. This was also devised by Sandhya in order to gain more trust from the Jagirdar family.

So they all held a party to let everyone know that Sandhya is pregnant. She just acts like she is pregnant, but nothing further has happened in the show about her pregnancy, they just left it as that. Her being like a one-day pregnant women lol.

But ya, as time passes by she would eventually have to wear something under her sari to make everyone seem like she is pregnant since she doesn't really want to be pregnant. OR she has to exact revenge against the Jagirdar and send them to jail for justice. On way or another, the people will find out the truth!

yes, i was just confused about her not being pregnant = there cant be any baby unless they adopt one to show everyone so was all lost lol
