Ha ha. Your dad wants the son to be more of a man when he grow up I guess, so does not want to spoil him.

Mothers have a weakness for their sons.

Dads easily give in to the charms of the daughters.

yeah, i see this happening in my family 😆 actually, my dad really has a soft corner for my sister. i think it's b/c they're both middle children 😆 my mom and i are close and she does pamper me too, but yes, being the baby and the boy, he does get a lot more pampering out of my mom 😆
