well, i liked what she said especially about the concept of success that they used to have and also about the success and failure of films being dependant on the budget... very well said...!

and i'm not sure why she answered that salman never touched her feet... i guess they asked her...? i don't see the big deal... if he never did, and she said that, what exactly is the problem... 😕 salman is not exactly well known for his manners...!! 😛😛😛

WHat was the question of the journalist to which she answered that salman never touched her feet?

Why was that cut out? lol

having said that some cultures explicitly forbid touching another persons feet....

The first instant reaction from most people would be "he never touched her feet. So what? Big deal." That's probably the instant reaction of many. That it basically doesn't matter whether he touched her feet or not. And it really doesn't matter.

But I always believe that we should always respect our elders. Touching the feet is only one way of showing our respect. But it isn't the ONLY way. Salman probably has shown his respect in another way (at least I'm hoping he has). Everyone's way of showing respect is different.

Anyways I don't know why Jaya ji even put that statement in. Did someone ask her? Or was it just a random statement?

Bottom line is we cannot come to conclusions without knowing the details. The less said, the better!

I can't watch the video right now..but I don't understand the point of her saying that. Some cultures/families have rules about not touching feet.
In my family girls are not allowed to touch anybody's feet, except her in-laws.

I didn't watch the video because I'm work and videos are disabled. But I had to comment on here. Salman is Muslim and we muslims don't touch feet

Why the hell is everyone so afraid of her?!!

But I agree with Cutie, one shouldn't go away touching someone's feet just b/c they are elder in age! I think touching someone's feet should only be done if you truly respect them! Personally, I don't touch anyone's feet other than my parents and grandparents....I respect all my elders, but touching feet is something with personal and close to my heart so I only do to people that are extremely close to my heart!

This whole thing is just so ridiculous! It's totally Salman's choice and his personal feeling....he shouldn't just feet her touch b/c she's a veteran actress!! Also, why did she just bring this up?!

yeah, it could very well be that reason... but really, i don't see what the big deal is... if he did not, it's okay... it is his choice really.... she may not think much of that, and she can say that....

i wish they had not cut the video... why did she mention it in the first place, i'm not sure....!!
