Model gets cheeky
Muzamil Ibrahim is embarrassed, thanks to a star-struck fan's strange request

When model Muzamil Ibrahim walked the ramp recently, he didn't know that soon after he would be at the receiving end of some unwarranted attention. He says: "A young girl was following me throughout the day. After the fashion show (he was modelling for a line of eyewear) was over, she walked up to me and told me to pull her cheeks the way I do in one of my advertisements."
An embarrassed Muzamil had little option but to comply with his fan's demands. "My friends were laughing. But she refused to leave; so I gave in," he says. The incident has made Muzamil very superstitious. The reason for his fan's crazy demand, he suggests, was the colour he was wearing: "She told me that she was attracted to me because I was wearing black that day. I think I'll stop wearing the colour," he says. For now though, Muzamil is looking forward to make his big screen debut. Though he prefers to keep his cards close to his chest, he reveals, "I am waiting for the right time to announce what I have in my kitty. I have always wanted to be an actor. I was never interested in modelling. I came here only to be an actor. I know I have to be very cautious and sign a good film under a reputed banner for my debut."
