Mai has a king sized ego... first she didnt like Ichcha because she was not a Thakur but a maid's daughter... then when she saw her as a medicine for her son Vansh she got her married to him n was good to her thru out... but the day Vansh died she threw her out of the Btoon haveli...

Some traits of Mai are completely realistic.. in the sense that we see such people in real lifeðŸ˜ðŸ˜² She wanted Ichcha till she was useful to her. Once her usefulness was over (after Vansh's death), she was ready to throw her out😔 It only goes to show her 'matlabi' and selfish nature

Mai did not stop Ichcha from following widow rituals and agreed with Gurumai about how widows should be (ill-)treated😡. This same Mai celebrated Veer's birthday within one year of Vansh's death citing that Vansh wanted a party before his death.
After seeing his suicide video, did she not realise that he killed himself because he felt bad about doubting and torturing Ichcha? 😠What is she doing now? Does she think Vansh's soul will be happy to see Ichcha being tortured and treated this way by her? No, this shows that she never understood her two sons and is just class- conscious and full of ego and selfishness. We sadly, come across such dumb, egoistic and matlabi people in real life also😔
