Slasher hell
We're not sure what look Mallika Sherewat was going for, but she seems to be suffering from a bad hangover from the 80s. Were the slasher jeans supposed to compensate for the lack of cleavage? Or were they trying to distract the audience so they don't notice her lack of acting talent.

Neha on the fence
Another cinematic adaptation of Pride and Prejudice hit theatres this Friday, so we asked Neha Dhupia if she preferred the silent, brooding kind of man like Mr Darcy or if she swayed towards the more gregarious and outspoken Mr Bingley.

Neha's response was diplomatic in true Bollywood style, "I like to take the middle path. Darcy and Bingley are such extremes. I'd like someone in between.

Sometimes when I'm talking, I want him to listen and at other times when he's talking I can listen. Sometimes there's a need to express and sometimes to repress."

It was a night filled with estrogen. GR8 magazine put out their fourth Women Achiever's award on Friday at the ITC Grand Maratha lawns, feted out with a musical night and a celebrity fashion show.

Amongst the winners were Medha Patkar, Joshna Chinappa, Ayesha Takia, Ekta Kapoor, Amrita Rao and Pooja Bedi, was Tamil star Khushboo, finally given her due for her speaking her mind.

Also caught in a thoughtful mood before she climbed the stage, was sitar siren Anoushka Shanker.

Preity sure of herself
