Hope's Take

Brief comments guys.

1. Boomerang

Yesterday, Manav was sooooo down on his luck, I could have written a western country song on his life.

Today, boomerang ' One full swoop and we are back in business ' The garage is back (almost), Sweetu Tarun is back (at long last), all that's missing is the resurrection of Vishwasrao from the Dead.

Punni smiled like an angel and brought with her the first glimmers of the rainbow for ArMan.

Good going Manav, you got your three Musketeers ' Tarun, Archu and Satish on your side. All you need now is the garage or a job, romance and a honeymoon. Ahem, CVs can we balance this equation. High time people.

2. Manjusha

I wonder if the actress does daily facial exercizes. I hope so. The constant need for overdone facial emoting must be draining on her.

3. Shooting the Source

Both Savita and Sulo need it big time. Savita received some advice from Damodar today. Advice that would get him what he wanted and make Savita think she was getting what she wants.

Sulo got advice from Savita that was what aligned with her own feelings on the matter and a couple of days ago would have increased her resolved.

The one thing you learn when people give you free advice is check the source. Who is giving it to you and why and if the conflict of interest is apparent. Take Heed and Step Cautiously.

Damodar's advice will only benefit him and Savita's advice will only benefit here. So my advice to Savita and Sulo ' check your source before you act. Instead of asking the question Why Not? Ask the question Why?

4. The K Siblings

Guys, I have decided these kids are not evil or venomous. They are foolish, gullible and naive. They act without thinking and could get mugged by a five year old. Varsha and Vinod are already showing reservations and the first pangs of unease at least where Archu is concerned. I think Vaishali might follow suit soon.

5. Satish

I would official like to stand on my tippy toes and give this dude a bear hug and a gigantic kiss (on his cheek).

Measured man ' introduces the topic gently with a high-strung Varsha. Withdraws at the first sign of trouble. Lives to fight another day.

Frank Man ' his ego comment to Dharmesh was bang on. You could tell that it found its mark. Dharmesh has never been told he is wrong by an. It will take him time to accept something he already knows is right.

In closing, Manohar is a very wise and patient man. I am glad he FINALLY started talking and acting like the man of the house.

Hi Hope!!!

Will answer in two parts- one on the characters, one on the episode.

My views on the characters:

1.) Savita: As selfish as ever.

2.) Damo: As cheeky as ever, but irresponsible all the same. Doesn't work, doesn't do anything, doesn't control his wife. At the end of the day, it was Savita wondering about expenses, not Damo. I'm betting- if tmrw circumstances become difficult, Savita will go and earn but this guy Damo will not do anything.
But I know situations will never arise such cos the responsible son called Manav Deshmukh will never let such a situation crop up where his mother has to work. He will provide for his family.

3.) Dharmesh: The same two words which I used yesterday- self opiniated and hypocrite.

4.) Satish: Most sensible character, but he really needs to control his wife.

5.) Varsha: She needs a slap very urgently.

6.) Manav: As sweet as ever.

7.) Archu: As adorable as ever.

8.) Sulo: I hope she doesn't get brainwashed.

9.) Manjusha: 🤢

10.) And now most importantly, Vinod:
Nice to see after a LONG while, that somewhere he still cares for his sister.

His words did have an element of truth.. But at the same time, my questions to Vinod.

a.) If you were so hurt and angry that Manav was dumping Archu for Shravani, why did you treat him with so much respect till Jay's rishta came? Why did you treat him like a brother when he came to stay at Varsha's wedding- when you knew very well that he is going to divorce your sister for Shravani? Why did you invite Shravani as well in the wedding? Why did you never say once in the whole duration of 3 months that please don't divorce my sister, she is not wrong? What were you waiting for till divorce day? Why did you invite Manav home one day before divorce to give him a 'farewell???

Why did you never catch hold of Manav's collar saying 'you bad man, you are being unfair to my sister' like Tanya Di said all this while? She has always been consistent, not you.

Vinod if you had done that, I would have said you are a very good brother. But now, I don't buy these 'excuses'. Yes- these are excuses that you are making up to justify your present hatred for Manav, nothing else. Your past behavior tells a completely different story.

b.) If you hated Manav so much due to the Shravani issue, why did you accept help from him on Vaishali's wedding? Why did you never return the 3 lakhs he gave you for Varsha's wedding? Why did you never protest when he got involved in Varsha's 'affair' story with Ashwin? Truth is- at that time he was helping you and you lapped up his help.

c.) If your hatred for people is so strong, then on what basis have you forgiven your wife who broke your sister's home or made your asthmatic mother work like a maid????

Sorry, but this loser Vinod gets a big 👎🏼 from me today.

By the way, I don't agree with the fact that Manav gets back to Archu based on his moods.

On the episode:

Garage reopening track:
Finally, we are getting somewhere, and hopefully it will last for some time now. A bit dampened by the fact that the 'struggle' wasn't shown very practically- first Manav failed in everything, now he is getting the garage jadu se, but chalo, at least the misery will end, and Archu can have milk without Manju grumbling. (BTW that was soooo cheap of her). Have to add all the same that this track by the CV's is rather silly- were they all sleeping all these days??? Suddenly everyone remembered the garage? Well CV's I wish to remind you that the garage was taken on LOAN from Satish's bank. How did our mechanic hero who makes Rs. 16,000 a month pay the instalments??? Or did Satish wave the loan for him cos he loves Manav so much? If this is so then I think we should think about Satish and Manav's love story than Satish and Varsha's. 😆

Dharmesh and his elephantine ego:
Satish is coming as the one who is warning others of the catastrophe to come, like Lord Krishna in Mahabharata😆. It got confirmed today that poetic justice is coming very soon now. I just hope satish saves himself from whatever disaster is going to strike the company in the form of Jay.

BTW Hope, did you read my post about Dharmesh yesterday. Would like to know your take on it even if you disagree. I don't like him, but he is an interesting character.

Savita comes to her senses:
So finally Madam has realised that the house runs on Manav's income... GREAT!!! And now she wants Manav back solely cos of that. Hoewever a small insignificant scene showed her crying that she wanted Manav back, (even before the expenses scene). She loves him, in her own queer way, she does, but she doesn't give him his happiness. Yet again, CV's succeeded in showing two sides of Savita- a loving one, and a greedy one. No points for understanding that they highlighted the greedy one more- who wants her son back only for money. The small scene showed that it is not so.

Great post......every point really good!!! i think the CV's finally realized how utterly silly and stupid Manohar looked before when he never spoke but only gestured 😆😆......the height of silliness was when the K family went to the D house looking for Archu....for 1/2 hour Savita harangued them all - mostly directed at Sul.. but all through it Manohar ONLY LOOKED UP WITH A 😲'd look and raised his hand in a "why??" gesture...over and over ...like a robot maybe 20 -30 times ..i was 🤣 🤣

he could be a real hero here...let's get him and Satish together to strengthen and encourage each other !! :)
