Dev Benegal's movie on Ramanujan
IndiaGlitz [Monday, April 03, 2006]

Dev Benegal and his co-director Stephen Fry are having little trouble over making a biopic on math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyenger.

When these two decided to make a film on him many other filmmakers sprung up saying they were working on the same project.

Like director Matthew A Brown is making The Man Who Knew Infinity on the same subject. But still they are head on with the project. Stephen Fry might play the role of Bertrand Russell.

Dev Benegal has rushed to London to finalize the cast. He requires two big stars for the roles in the film. He is trying for an Australian-American actor of international acclaim.
