Nice list. I actually agree with most of them.
The only ones I'm not too sure about are Gadar & Robot. Actually coming to think of it JA was average. Not that extraordinary.
I haven't even seen Robot yet so can't comment much on.
Gadar was a good film, but I'm not sure if it was the best?

Gadar ek prem katha gets mocked a lot on these online forums and its not politically correct, but yes its one of the most impactful movies of the decade, somewhere I think it never got its due credit but when it released it did bigger business than Lagaan. Amisha and Sunny were AWESOME in the movie.
Devdas shouldn't be there, before i was also impressed by its glitz and glamor but its one of those movies that don't pass the test of time, it was more shimmer than substance. Devdas was supposed to be about intensity of emotions but it was reduced to OTT wardrobes, sets and melodrama.
Chak de India should have been in the list, when it was about to release people were like Srk is aping aamir in making a sports based movie after lagaan, but the movie did stun a lot of people.
Aamir's RDB and Lagaan deserve it can't say the same about Ghajni, JA was a joke, I watched endhiran recently, thoroughly enjoyed it, Rajini rocks, it was definately something hatke from the usual Indian movies.

LOL cutie, Rajnikanth is the actor. Robot is the film 😆

I never really understood what the big hype around Gadar was all about. I thought it was a strictly average film with Sunny doing what he does best - yelling loudly in my ear.

In addition, I wouldn't put Devdas and Jodhaa Akbar on there either. I was hella bored in both those films. And Ghajini - definitely not one of the top 10 films of the decade.

Havent seen Gadar or Robot so can't comment

W*H? why is Ganji on the list? I'm sure it was a blockbuster but that movie messed up my brains, I dont think it deserves to be on that list. There are a lot more movies that I can think of that deserve to be the best movies of the decade, even though they werent blockbusters.

Parineeta
Chameli
Dor
Munnabhai
A Wednesday
etc etc

IMO....Ghajini... and one of the top ten of the decade.. no way..

Gadar, JA, Devdas... were decent but definitely do not make it to my top ten...
I would rate Swades, Chak de, Parineeta, Munnabhai much higher than these four.... 😊

Me thinks that the writer hates SRk. I am not a huge fan but come on.. only 1 SRK movie vs 5 of Aamir's? No CDI, no Swadesh? And also.. no Guru, no Yuva, no DCH, no Paa, no Kaminey. IF it is a list made strictly on commercial success, then there are far more successful films than Black, Devdas and TZP. And if it is a list meant for path-breaking, iconic films then except for a couple, most of these films don't qualify. I mean Gaddar and Endhiran.. really?
