Richa Sharma bowled over by the talent on Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar

Acclaimed playback singer Richa Sharma, recently in the news for the chartbuster hit 'Zor Ka Jhatka', appeared as a celebrity guest on her favourite show Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar this Saturday. "I have always loved this show and have wanted to be a part of it for a long time," she said as she was welcomed on stage and added, "Finally, the day has come and I am very excited to be a part of this episode. The talent here is simply tremendous!" With a spate of superhit songs under her belt, the contestants were awestruck to be in the presence of such a supremely talented singer.
With each of the contestants out to prove their mettle as they sang in duets with Richa, it was a battle to the finish line as they took on songs that proved their versatility on stage. Their virtuosic performances left their guest judge at a loss as she found it very difficult to decide on whose performance was better. Richa was overheard commenting on the difficulty that the judges & audience would face while voting for their favorites as every contestant proved his/her worth on stage.
The first contestant to form a partnership with the acclaimed singer was Abhilasha Chellum. They sang the scintillating number - Maavi Ve. Daler Mehandi was so very enthralled by Abhilasha's rendition that he came over to the stage to applaud her. The captivated audience could not contain themselves when Richa Sharma and Daler Mehandi sang their newest release - Zor Ka Jhatka from the movie 'Action Replay'. This song metamorphosed further into a medley of songs by both the maestros. Richa Sharma also sang 'Jag Soona Soona lage' (from the movie Om Shanti Om) on Vishal and Shekhar's request as the musician duo joined her in her performance.
With the finale drawing closer, it is going to be an uphill climb for the Top 5 finalists to secure a place in the Top 4. To find out who makes it to the next round of the competition, tune in to Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar every Friday & Saturday only on Zee TV at 9.30 PM.

I could not stop myself from posting. Daler Paaji kya gaaya hai aapne dil khush kar diya. Aap hamesha khus rahen yehi dua hai aur aise hi gaate rahiye.

I will rate this medley by Daler Paaji as one of the best performance of Saregamapa 2010.

Thanks glad both my favorite songs have been very well sung. Richa ji has plenty of soul n bhava.

He may of been singing a biy upon someone's requests, who enjoyed it very much.

Both Daler and Richa are such powerful singers and watch Paajis strong high singing voice.His and Richas large vocal range make them unique.They hit the high notes magnificently without the voice cracking.

Both have very rich and full voices and sing very openly and naturally.
