Thanks for the channel! So many ads...Nerolac Paints. Hamam Soap. Cinthol. Vicks, Bajaj, WHeel detergent, Fevicol...and my most most most favorite ad Cadbury- Kya Swad Hai Zindega Ka! Still gives me goosebumps!

I think one of the best ads of the early 90s late 80's was the "Hamara Bajaj" ads..we used to have a Bajaj and I used to sing it everytime I got on it😆

Oh! I used to love the Bajaj ad too!😆

And there were several more which used to come on Radio! One of them was 555 Sabun!😆 And that damn thing was so hard, that it used to never lather!😆 I think the trend of detergents hadn't caught up back then!

And there used to be another hilarious ad with Tina Munim (aka Mrs. Anil Ambani) endorsing a bath soap....I think it was Riya Sabun!😆

The Cadbury ad was lovely...and the tag line was like a National Anthem, Kya swad zindagi mein!😳

We had even done an act on the Ek Chidiya song at school, I remember!

Those were the real deal...and hence we still remember all of them so fondly! Nowadays, things just come and go in a flash, after achieving their 15 minutes of fame...nothing has lasting value!

PS : Does anyone remember India's first sitcom, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi?😃

PPS : Can we have a Doordarshan Serials / Ads thread somewhere, exclusively dedicated to discussing old shows! (And by old, I don't mean, KSBKBT!😆)
