  1. Archana - you have taken such a bold step and are very firm on this, so why are you letting obvious things get to you? Savita's barrage at the basti should not have got you so stressed that it affected your BP. It was expected.

So chill and concentrate on bigger things like getting a job and getting out of that basti. You have an education, work experience and an able body. So why is Manav the only one out there looking for a job? This is ridiculous. What are you hanging around behind for? Cleaning the cobwebs and chasing the leaks in the roof? Get up and get going. (after the fever abates of course).

  1. Satish and Varsha – Well if I ever heard a pot calling the kettle black – it had to varsha. Excuse me?????????? You think Archana had the audacity to pursue her own dreams at the cost of the families peace of mind. Errrrrrr, I am so sorry Varsha can you wait for my rebuttal after I pick up my jaw from off the ground??????? Women, shush and shush again. You are in timeout for ht enext ten years and not aloud to make a grown up comment related to responsibility and duty. OK My Satish was correct – Sulo is a worrywart – Jaywant' marriage would have caused her far worse stress. Satish I have Express Posted my hugs and kisses to you love.
  1. Manav – My utmost sympathies lie with this dude. CVs have some pity on him please. Torn between love of wife and duty for family. I can empathize with him totally. We have all experienced emotional blackmail in some form or another from important parties in our lives. The married ones more I think.

Manav you need to quite that job. So work as a coolie. We will all be happier.

BTW, a low BP patient asked you to get her FOOD. Where is the food? We are all impatiently waiting for some and so is the patient. Don't you remember – Don't take meds on an empty stomach? Fool Manav.

  1. Sachin – This child belongs with his very rich natural parent and grandparent. CVs stop abusing children on this show. Are you insane? I am tired of telling you to stop using sachin as a pawn. If you want to show someone sick, show savita and damo sick. Please do not introduce a track where Sachin's sickness and the cost of his treatment or something equally corny FORCES his mother to come back into his life. Please also do not make Girish be the trigger here. HIS MOTHER AND ONLY HIS MOTHER SHOULD MAKE THE DECISION TO RECLAIM HER SON BECAUSE SHE LOVES HIM AND WANTS HIM. Any other track or reason will be sheer bakwas. You killed his dad, demonized his mom, now please leave him be – you are not looking very nice now for exploiting the life of a child repeatedly and callously to make up for you lack of creative direction.
  1. Archana's parents – I am very happy they came to visit. Parents have a right to be angry. I am totally with Sulo there but they also have the latitude to be human and I give CVs credit here for showing a balance between the two. I do not see Sulo's presence at Archu's door any kind of a compromise. I see it as a woman who is upholding her principles and her love as a parent. Though Sulo you really need to learn some time sensitivity. You cannot go around preaching to heart patients and low BP patients WHILE THEY ARE SICK. That is just stupidity. You will kill them and then you will have no drama and then you will be so bored out of your mind you will kill yourself out of boredom. So chill Big Mama chill. The precap shows her speaking about taking care of Archu. Brilliant. That is exactly what it should be. In times of trouble, families bond – all shikvhe ghale aside. When healthy you can kill yourselves bickering. I think Archu needs some TLC from her family. Family is important. Archu's sickness is not due to her environment or her hungry stomach but due to her thirsting soul and her longing heart for her mother's love.

Guys, I tried doing my rambling style post but it was not happening because the tracks are sensible (for the most part) and tug at the heart.

I hope you don't mind this type of writing from me too much

Hope

I caught the last five mins of the repeat epi .. and the only thing that came to my mind is - Sachu needs him mom .. what the CVs are showing is just plain abuse , absolutely cruel .
And yes , I agree that some TLC from her mom will make her happy ... but not the constant "I told you so " stance and putting down manav in front of her . I wanted to hug mano , didnt ramble and make his daughter more unhappy.

Brilliant post Hope di....exactly my feelings.

I completely give credit to Sulochana for keeping aside her ego and at last calling out for her daughter. I also understand her anger that arises from seeing archana's condition. But it was her preaching in front of archana that i didn't appreciate. She only was further ruining her condition. Any adult will have the basic sense of realising that a patient needs to be kept away from mental stress.....Sulochana was exactly giving her that. Keep aside as being a mother, even as an experienced mature lady she was being insensitive. I would have liked it better if she would pulled Manav outside and said the same thing to him.

I sympathised the most with Manav yesterday. On one side he had an ailing wife while on the other an unwell small child to whom he has played the role of father. Keeping aside ArMan feelings.....its the hardest choice one has to make. I don not feel he was an unfair husband...he promised his mother he will come back only after he makes arrangements for archana. And manav would have never left archana uncared. If he would have not gone back.....called up raghu n said to look after archana.....i would have termed him irresponsible. His intention to go back was to make sure archana was taken care of.....n if he wouldn't have managed i m sure he would brought her along with him to D house....or begged the Ks to take her in even if they would have humiliated him.

My anger only rose for Savita and Varsha. Varsha...she should be the last person talking about insentivity. Mohan Rao's silent presence made me feel it will be him who will make Varsha realise of her mistakes.

Savita in her arrogance and desire has taken up the responsibility that she cannot fulfil. This responsibilty will be carry forwarded to Manav. she has made manav responsible for Sachin for life in course ruining sachin's life.

Today's epi will tell what Manav's decision will be. I personally want him to choose Archana because its now the question of proving his love, but I also want him to tell sulochana that he will be back after making a call. I want him to call up girish....take his taunts but make sure that sachin's is in the hands of someone who can take care of him.

Last word:
I can at last conclude what the core of Pavitra Rishta is. It is Manav's constant struggle between Love and Zimmedari.

Hope dii, long time, was missing your posts 😊
Archana is in this condition because no one from her family today stands in support of her decision, neither her siblings nor parents..
I feel manohar baba handles the situation well, than sulo aai
Also Sachin has to be taken out of that unhealthy environment, atleast his mother should be informed abt his health, and his nana too, but what they are trying to tell is all mystery for me, why such torchure to Sachin at such small age....
(Firstly I didnt get only the concept introduced by CV's to seperate child from his mom.)
Manav, why he has to be shown so helpless, he isnt!! he has worked before, knows everything, same applies to Archana

Hi Hope😃 long time no see..

I agree with all your points but differ a little on Manav. I totally empathized with him when he was running around for sachin, consoling his mother and at the same time worrying about Archana. But I absolutely did not like him giving his 'word' to his mom that he will come back (and we all know how Manav is about 'vachans'). That night, as far as he knew, the only people available to take care of Archu in that basti were Mushy and Raghu. Whereas Savita had friendly neighbors and Ajit/Vandu. Archana could not be moved to D house bcos of doctor's advice of avoiding stress at any cost. So succumbing to Savita's emotional blackmailing and promising to return was something I did not like. I really dont understand why in these situations, the existence of Ajit and Vandu are totally forgotten. I think the biggest problem of Manav is his unwillingness to even consider taking help from available quarters.

I also did not appreciate Sulo's question in the precap considering the time and place. They are there to take care of Archu and Savita needs Manav, so the questions of 'if we had not been there' were unnecessary at that point. But you know, remembering all that has happened in the last year, I so want Manav to answer that question. But I think Archu will protest and save him from answering.

Hi Hope!

Excellent new way! Loved everything you wrote.

Frankly speaking, PR is BORING me big time now. Yesterday I did not even feel like commenting on anything. This stuff is downright depressing and there are never solutions about.

I don't like sulo, I don't like Jay, I don't like Varsha, I don't like anyone in the show now- simply becos there's no one to show these characters the mirror. We just keep waiting for someone to show Varsha her hypocrisy but Decent Satish is turning a tad irritating nowadays even though he is the sweetest gentleman on the show.. Who's wrong who's right doesn't matter to me nowadays. Fact is, the show has become plain irritating.

The PR people have forgotten their own title track. Manav was meant to be the knight in shining armour for his wife. How.. may I ask? By not being able to provide her the barest necessities? They are making him as a pathetic loser and now this is bugging me big time. I really want some positivity in the show now... the CV's are going to lose the audience again if this goes on for long. Not even the divorce track had frustrated me so badly.

@tv-madness: I didn't see it as a promise that Manav made to Savita Aai. It seemed more like a hurried excuse to run away from there, knowing that Archu was alone at home. Sometimes when people pester us to hell, then we say that we will give them what they want just to get rid of them, right? It sounded that way to me.
