Thanks. love your written updates and analysis. have loved it since choti bahu days... i was a silent fan of your Update with Eva in CB. I have always liked your indepth analysis and intense review of the shows. same here. But somehow in this forum I feel you are giving too much importance to Maan and his emotions and seem less concerned abt Geet. Your analysis always focus on the pain of Maan and never on geet (atleast that is how as a reader, I felt). In CB if you remember when people went against radhika supporting dev I remember you stood behind her (loved you for that). i agree radhika is different than geet. but i think geet is more common and next door type than radhika (who i think would exist only in stories). like today for instance you were commenting abt how geets words hurt maan but did you consider how much of disappointment it must have been for geet after all that promises and reassurances to be retracted the very next day? granted he is just asking for some time. but she is just 18, pregnant, deceived and rejected by everyone whom she loved and trusted in the life so far, but took courage to take a second chance and trusted somebody in life again. we know maan is good and will never do anything wrong. we hear his thoughts and self analysis etc.. but how does she know that? she trusted her instincts and love and is giving her life one more chance. it is easy for an outsider to just say- oh trust him. he did so much for you etc etc.... if my life had been so tragic in such a short period of life, i am not sure i would be able to trust anybody in life no matter how sugar coated everything looks..I would be afraid of the pain that follows if thing does not work... i think she had that courage and it is very easy to get disappointed when things does not work. come on.. when your husband promises a dinner on your anniversary and cannot make it due to work schedule, even though you know it is not his fault, you will be disappointed and would have a hard time masking it and smiling in front of him. here we are talking abt a much serious issue. she is not a devi like radhika- she is protrayed as a normal girl like any of us. if you think it in that angle i am sure you can feel geets pain as much as maan's..so what did you want her to do? hide all her pain, disappointment, worries and act goddy good in the instant in which something bad happens just to make maan happy? what abt her pain???? is she not allowed even to show a glimpse of it?

just my take of it, Eva. or i would say a private petition from a reader to a writer......

I loved your point about Geet and yes I do agree with what you have said. Today I focused on Maan because I felt that is what they wanted to show in the episode today..

Yes Geet is just 18 and has seen so much ups and downs in the life that she will be scared to trust anybody...

What I wanted to show is the personal relations between Maan and Geet.. Now at this stage when so many misunderstandings and issues have been resolved between them... and in all those circumstances where Geet was hurt...Geet has known that Maan was always with her he had never ever left her side or her cuase then I think it is hight time that this truth about Maan being for her and that whatever Maan does has the best interest for her should be embosed in her being that Maan is for her and if temporary set back comes and Maan has to step back .. that is also for her best interest..

I think she knows that very well but the circumstancial evidence makes her rattle but she still has that hold and it comes back to surface to make her more strong.

I could understand when Geet went away during the engagement becasue Geet just could not tell Maan that it was his brother.

I could also understand her hurt in listening to the half convo and walking out when dadi fell sick in jail.

I could also understand her slapping Maan as he went way beyond and hurt her.

I could also understand when NT came to office and Geet told him that she cannot work in the same office as NT and Maan told her to go home and Geet was hurt.

Because in all these Geet was not aware of the full details. Yes she is just 18 and does not go think too deeply.

But inspite of all these when the realization hit her and she could understand that all that Maan did was not to hurt her but to protect her.

So when she came back from the check up and told Maan that she was wrong and misunderstood him. She told him that she knows that he could never do wrong and she has made mistake in calling the sun darkness... and also in the conference room about how wrong she was and she misunderstood him and she wants to go ahead only with him as without him her future is completely dark

Somewhere in her she has this confidence on Maan and she knows that he could never do wrong to her. Many time she has used this words that aap galat ho hi nahi sakte.. but each time when the crisis hits her she some how looses that grip on the truth in her and falls for the circumstancial evidence.

She does come around though.. but then by that time... Maan feels bad in hurting her and closes himself up.. of course this incident takes the story further.

Hey Binsur.. I totally loved your post and your POV. with my post never ever hesitate to state your views as I love to discuss different aspects.

Like today.. until Dadi came Geet was in real troubled thougths... she was thinking how could Maan not keep his promise..

Dadi has to come and tell the whole story behind Maan's decision and also tell her that it was not Maan's decision.. After that as if life came in Geet and she went in search of Maan thinkning how troubled he would be and came to ease his worries

My point is... Geet needed that catalyst... truth from dadi to act correctly.. until then she was seating all alone with thoughts of why Maan did not keep the promise... She should be thinking what would be the reason behind Maan's decision and then knowing Maan she should be thinking that Maan would be feeling so terrible that he could not keep his promise to her... But she was only thinking about what was not done for her...

That means that she still needs to develop that blind trust on Maan.

But as I said earlier that once she knows the truth she never hesitates for a moment to do the right thing.. like she went right away to Maan thinking that he must be feeling bad and wanted to ease his trouble and took the action right away..

Her this correct initiative eases the situations.. because she never looses a single moment in correcting the situations. and that also helps Maan to fall in those steps as he is not expressive and a man of few words. But her initiatives opens the avenues for reconciliations between them and that is most important. If it was left to Maan he would not be able to do that.

Geet is still bit naive and emotional. She acts on emotional level and when she understands she does it well... but her initial reaction is always emotional per the situations.. Yea hope the CVs would show her gradual change.. and the more she will trust Maan she will be his strength. She feels that she is his weakness because she herself lacks that complete 100% blind trust.

She does trust him once she knows the details but this weakness will become strength once that 100% will come.. That way none can manipulate their situation like NT did with Taviz. When Geet came to know that Maan met with an accident then she understood about the Taviz that Maan did not give it back. But earlier she belived NT... can you imagine she believed NT???? of all people. She should have known that when Maan wore it he will never take it off. He is the man of his word and he does not lie... but I think she acts before she thinks and makes blunders.

like with Dev coming out of Jail... She was so hurt that she forgot that it was Maan who called police in the first place and arrrested his own brother. It was Maan who signed as a witness against his onw brother. But when she heard that half covo and saw Dev she just lost the grip on that truth and trust and went and insulted Maan in front of the board member/office and press.

When Maan was trying to explain her in the office.. and was trying to tell her that he did all those things not because he wanted to save his brother but for her.. but she would not let him finish.. She was so stuck up with her hurt and her pain of betrayal that she once again accuses him that he is asking her favors for what he did to her.. Then Maan got mad and pulled her out of office himself because that is what she wanted to do and went after her to teach her lesson but went beyond that. So then ego came in and these two just came at the opposite pole. But in all that the real feeling did not go away and in the unguarded moment their love would surface..

and when Geet fainted... Gosh that was the time when Maan just could not keep his love inside him. That hug in record room... was just so very beutiful.. Both of them understood that they were fooling each other.

But when Geet came back and saw NT .. she forgot all about their connection and once again got hurt when Maan asked her to go home because he wanted to deal with NT.. Then when she heard him with NT she understood that he was actually trying to protect her from NT..

So she always needs that element of proof of truth to believe Maan... And that she needs to develop her 100% blind trust and then she will be his strength as even if no one is there to give her proof of Maan's decision or actions.. she knows that behind all this he is just doing things for her and for her honor and comfort and for her love...

Yes I do love Geet and Maan both equally... They both are compliment to each other what one lacks other have so they have to be loved together.
