She is from Pakistan, so there is lot of difference in language, In Friday episode she try her best to say Ashmit in front pf Salman Khan but failed :(

lol, I don't think it has anything to do with where she's from, I'm sure you would be able to find Paki's that can say Ashmit, and not Ash mit, I think she just got used to saying his name that way.

Veena overdoes it, the other day when she was talking to ashmit on the bed about Sara, she clearly pronounced his name as it is, she intentionally calls him with a different accent as she knows that salman khan also teases her for her accent while calling ashmit and moreover she is looking for some attention now since last time salman didn't let her complete her sentence. Listen carefully, she does know how to pronounce properly.

I agree wid u. How come she says Ash mit, while everybody calls him Ashmit. Because if u read something in a wrong way before u listen that word, it's possible that u pronounce it wrong and it takes sometime 4 u 2 correctly pronounce it, but here she heard his name as Ashmit, then why TH she is calling him ASH MIT? Dramaqueen.

hay...i m paki...n can say ashmit...n shweta in proper way...n she can say shweta...but itz a bit hard...bcoz she needs...to emphise more on her name...so she perfers...takin her name in wrong way...den to thakaoofyin her...
