If you think you saw someone like Ranbir Kapoor in town in the last couple of days, chances are, it was him. The actor has been going all over the city, shooting for film-maker Imtiaz Ali's film, Rockstar. On Sunday, Kapoor spent several hours in Connaught Place's Central Park, shooting for the film.

In the sequence he shot, Ranbir, who plays a musician named Jordan in the film, is seen performing for hundreds of students at a concert in Central Park. College students, mostly from Ali's alma mater Hindu College, formed the crowd. Basant Jha, a DU student who gathered the huge number, says, "Anything for Imtiaz; he is one of us. Everyone wanted to co-operate because he is our senior. Plus, who wouldn't want to be a in a scene with Ranbir?"

A day earlier, Kapoor was in Saket to shoot a party scene at the new restaurant, Buzz, in MGF Metropolitan Mall. Sources say Ali chose to film at the particular restaurant since he's good friends with the owners. While shooting started at 6.30am, the mood inside the restaurant reflected an evening party, with several junior artistes decked up for the part, and the restaurant staff serving cocktails and appetisers.

Ranbir arrived at around 9am, in his Rockstar getup — harem pants, a lumberjack shirt and a leather jacket. He kept stepping out of the restaurant, pacing about the mall, muttering his lines to himself and getting his hair touched up. He was also spotted sipping on cola and coffee from a nearby coffee shop, and joking with the spot boys.

In the scene that was shot, Ranbir is seen as a reluctant Rockstar, whom everyone wants to get photographs clicked with. The sequence gave a chance to everyone present in the restaurant to pose with Ranbir, who, unlike his grim character in the film, was very sweet to his fans.

Shooting wrapped up at around 1.00pm, after which the crew moved to the bungalow of a prominent business tycoon. According to sources in the unit, the entire crew will be in Delhi till January. So, be on the lookout!
