this was a grave read - in mood and scenario depiction, and its funny how as i read it, while sitting in a bustling cafe, my attention to it sort of drowned out the noise, lol, solemnity has its way of capture!

so, although i like the intrigue about the characters, and the easy freedom for the reader's discretion to sort of fill in blanks every now and again - i sort of feel the need to know more about the underlying mechanics of their respective minds. its like understanding the consequences and how those consequences come to foreplay, but missing out the conditions or causes which bring it about - not the situational details of how they came about, and remained averse and came back together again - but exactly what about their psychology prompts each of them to be as they are... you know?

i hope i make sense with what i'm trying to say!

i really like the choice of your quotes - they are simple and straight hitting! and i like how they summarize the essence of their respective chapters! also enjoyed some of your metaphorical allusions!
