Child has all the rights to the inheritance of the father no matter if the child is from a legal marriage or not. Having a child out of the wedding is sure adultery but it doesn't curb child's right. Only problem would be to establishing child is indeed fathered by the person in question. If the father accepts child as his, child will have the equal rights as other children. This is what my understanding of the law is.

As far as, second marriage is concerned, they can not register this as a marriage. And it is as good as a living relationship. Law will not take action until someone complaints against it. Few famous politicians are bigamy. But no one arrests them.

Now, my question to Pratigya...will she dare to complain against her sister now for aiding a criminal? Here Shakthi is criminal for committing Bigamy, Arushi volunteered marrying him.

Pratigya should lodge complaint against Shakthi now. It will show her true strength because doing so will prove that she upholds the principles than safeguarding her dear ones in the time of crisis. I bet she won't.

I apologize. I am extremely sorry of the confusion. The children born out of second, by legal, or concubine without any legality, shall also enjoy rights with the children of first wife as the child at birth does not know the legality of their mother, nor exercise any wish for a right birth; as such the children are, as a whole children of the person in question.

Thanks again Anu..... Your answers were precisely what I was looking for. 👍🏼

Even I think she won't. I was very hopeful till yesterday, but in today's episode, Pratigya and Krishna were majorly disappointing. Pratigya seems to have fully accepted the marriage, and she stood quietly watching the aarti being done.
Even Krishna, who had recently taken a vow with a sickle in his hand, that he won't allow this illegal marriage to take place, seemed willing to accept a marriage, and even asked his mom to welcome the couple!
No, there definitely won't be a police complaint, or Prats would have mentioned it by now. All my hope lies on Kesar.... but even that is dwindling.... as Kesar herself did the Aarti 😡

Kesar is a poor soul. Now, she don't have anywhere else to go and no financial support what so ever...thanks to Pratigya. Sajjan will not offer her money now as he knows, Pratigya will not destroy her sister's life. Kesar is shown timid...SS will threaten to kill her even if she tries to go against Thakurs. She has left with seeing her husband playing with his new found wife....

So she'll continue to be a silent spectator .... You're right, with no family and money, she'll have to stay. The Saxenas could provide her room and board, as compensation for their daughter ruining Kesar's life.

This is all so wrong. The cvs have contradicted themselves. They wrote the dialog when Prats said that a second marraige was illegal and now they have commited Bigamy. The cvs knowing that bigamy is illegal went through with the idea. This is absolutely wrong. We should use our power as audiences and boycott the show.

Hey sorry for going off topic a bit but I wanted to add to the list: "Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai" which was a short span of a serial but in which we saw a case of polygamy as well. In the end though one man was with two wives but they were shown to live happily ever after.. So what about that case because both women were able to conceive... is it still okay?

😆 Can't do that yet.... I'm too addicted I'm going to wait a few weeks and give them a chance, hopefully the story will improve by then. I hope 😕 coz this is like the only show I'm watching these days.

I don't know why these topic came so soon when no woman is pregnant in the show. Let them first enjoy the marriage only. Baby has to wait for 9 months long enough. So chill people. Enjoy the New Shakti and Arushi Prem Kahaniya..
