Kareena's KHANdaan, a good strategy?

Kareena's upcoming films at this moment are:

Ra one with Srk Khan (sci fi)

Agent Vinod with Saif Ali Khan (thriller directed by Sriram Raghavan)

Bodyguard with Salman Khan (No Idea)

Dharma's next with Imran Khan (Shatun Bantra, AD of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na)

Excel Prod. next with Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherjee (Reema, written by Zoya Akhtar)

So what do you think? She's working with all the Khans of bollywood, and no one else at the moment. But will this strategy be beneficial, or will it backfire in the long run?

Keep in mind how the masses function, how significant box office success is, but also that if you're working with the Khans, chances are, hte movie's about THEM (with the exception of Imran I suppose).

i really do think its about the role..like for kurbaan...i thought kareena was teh shit..she did damn good in that role..saif was second lead to her for sure in the movie..

I have a feeling the movie with aamir and rani..rani will have a bigger role compare to her. And yes it will backfire her as she's not doing woman oriented roles. She should forget about fame for sometime and do some good roles which audience will remember her. Sadly she's just going for fame.

Its a great strategy as it would further solidify her position at box office. Aishwarya has failed at bolly box office, Priyanka hasn't delivered any hits since 5 years... none of the newbies have been able to make any major impact... Katrina and Kareena are rocking the boxoffice these days.. Kareena will have a strong role in Agent vinod for sure.. its pretty obvious.. she plays an agent herself in the movie.. and is doing some kick ass stunts along with Saifu.. The movie with imran is a love story.. so she will have a strong role there.. the movie with the director himself said that it is a performance oriented role.. so she will have a good role in it too.. right now i am not sure about ra1 but the thrill of being in one of the most anticipated sci-fi flick is good enough.. and i am sure she and rani will be an awesome combo.. to watch.. so i am looking forward to all her movies... I think even if half of them work its chandi hi chandi for bebo.

Other than the Khans, not many options left.

The Kapoor, the Roshan and the Bachchan are all not an option for her because of the obvious reasons.

The only one left who she can possibly pair is Akshay. But looking at the kind of crap fest and the bufoonery he does she rather stick to the Khans. 😊

Regarding whether it will be beneficial or not I guess only time will tell. Hard to speculate.

But I am sure with a well written role even in a movie with any of the Khans she can make a lasting impression and can stand out.... Example : 3 Idiots.

Only time will tell like Maddy said. If the films become a hit she will def benefit from it. She benefited hugely by being part of the biggest hit 3 idiots. And in 3 idiots she was able to stand out in a film where it was all about the 3 idiots. Am sure in the next with Amir and Rani, she will hold her own too. The only film where she doesn't have that much to do is in Ra.One. She even said that herself in an interview, that her job in Ra.One is just look pretty. Who admits that? 😆 Gotta love bebo's honesty.

Dostana was not a huge hit. I think it was average or above average. And Kaminey was a semi hit I believe. So they weren't that big of hits like 3 idiots, G3, Rajneeti ect
