Dear Pearl Grey,
Like so many others in this forum this is yet another request that you don't go ahead with the Shakti-Arushi marriage track. It will lead nowhere but into a horrible quagmire and it is wrong for a whole barrage of reasons.
I don't know who you're listening to but remember majority opinion is usually very silent ' please don't go about listening to vociferous fringe opinions that show neither good sense nor good heart.
If Arushi HAS to marry either Aman or Shakti, let it be Aman. He is a cheat, yes, but he is unlikely to beat her, rape her or demean her like Shakti will. At least with Aman, you have genuine scope for a storyline ' if you manage to quietly kill or eliminate Anu, you actually have a chance at a half decent story. You will also have access to a new family, new storylines, fresh blood that is very welcome. The show needs it ' the Thakurs have exhausted their novelty, their charm if not their story. You know that you cannot rest solely on them in the months to come.
If you can't make up your mind, send Arushi to a nunnery for a few months and recover her mental equilibrium. IMO she's in no state to be married to anyone.
If there is still a chance that you can edit this episode in a way that does NOT end in Arushi marrying Shakti, please do it.
You've done a TERRIFIC job so far đđ ' please trust yourself, your values, your instincts. Please don't second guess the audience, and above all, don't listen to loud criticisms that come from skewed, twisted commenters.
I didn't watch the epi yesterday after months of not missing a single one. I will wait to see how today goes.
