CVs' & LTLians spare a thought.
Hi everyone,
I read a number of posts today and have just watched today's episode and it occurred to me that the SR (which we would have loved to see in happy circumstances on LTL) should have happened as it could be the cathartic experience that will, actually, help both Dutta and Nakusha emotionally cleanse themselves and start life afresh with a bond beyond the mental sphere. The biblical union of a man and a woman is important to cement a relationship. The SR may look tacky and in bad taste at this junction with everyone probably feeling that it would be unfair for the couple. But this will break the deadlock though as Dutta physically connecting with his Koel Naku (his burning desire) or Gori dhokebaz (to avenge her betrayal) would provide the catalyst to their love and hold on each other.
Nakusha will draw strength from the fact that her husband has accepted her albeit on a physical level (she does not need a verbal confirmation of the emotional bond ---she knows that Dutta's heart belongs to her). Restoring each other's confidence would follow with lots of pain and patience but should follow as they would have crossed the last hurdle and inhibitions which separated them since they got married the first time. I remember here, Baaji's advice at their "adda" after Dutta rescued Nakusha from Anna's den and he did say very clearly to Dutta that he has to be one to take the first steps as Nakusha would never claim her marital rights. Post the second wedding fiasco, Nakusha may find it daunting to even attempt touching a revengeful Dutta if we are to go by the way he has been pushing her around or brandishing her wrist (typical Dutta mannerisms when it comes to reminding Nakusha and everybody else that she is wife). Dutta's progression from AS' "godh" to Koel Naku's godh today shows his anguish to connect physically with the love of his life. And should he be shown in future tracks attempting it even if it is to avenge himself for the betrayal he has to endure would help move the story forward. On a comic note, this is what all the female fans of TASHA may be dying to view, AS may get to hear the "khilkariyan in Dutta's phoolwari", but LTL would avoid the pitfall of the endless dragfest with repetitions of scenes post the Sups/Dutta wedding fiasco that would turn off many viewers.
Praying to Bappa or God to put things right is all well and good but one has to find ways to help oneself. A physical union would in the beginning sound cheap in the face of so much emotional distress and anger (Dutta), guilt and fear that all that magic they shared may have gone in smoke (Nakusha) but it is vital. Once that would have happened, it will be difficult for external influences (Kala our exquisite Mata Hari, the altered ET (Leela/Roops/shifty Suds ) to carry on spinning their web of deceit as our lovebirds would be able to relate to each other at the most basic and primitive level and realise the beauty of their unique love story.
PS: Apologies for the terribly long posts but LTL has become a battleground for such interesting exchanges that I just get carried away. I will sign off with these lines of the revered Khalil Gibran that seem so apt to depict Dutta's anguish for an unfulfilled love.
"Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself.
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips."
Today we got to see Dutta in Naku's lap, a paradise that has been denied to our GADHA and Naku. CVS---MAKE AMENDS ASAP.
I would love to see your comments.
