Bigg Boss 4 seems to be in the news for all the wrong reasons. After the entire fiasco over Ali Merchant and Sara Khan's supposed remarriage comes the news that Dolly Bindra and Sameer Soni have been eliminated from the house for violation of rules.

A channel spokesperson confirmed the news saying that both have already left the house (today at 3.30pm). On the reasons for this drastic action the spokesperson said that both Dolly and Sameer who could never see eye to eye had a very ugly argument last night, with lot of curse words being used. Normally Sameer does not resort to abusive tone but apparently he lost his cool as well. Bigg Boss immediately took notice of the violation and spoke to both of them and even gave them one last chance to make amends. But sadly neither of them responded, leaving Bigg Boss with no alternative but to issue marching orders. Their elimination will be telecast tomorrow night while you can see the big fight tonight.

Dolly's elimination along with news of the show possibly shifting to a late night slot (as per govt directive) gives an indication that the channel is under lots of pressure to clean up its act. This show has been under the scanner for a while. Charges of obscenity have always been made. Dolly's abusive language was just what the doctor ordered, and the numbers have gone up. Hence the decision to let her go, clearly shows the pressure the channel is under. If the show does shift to late night slot, the numbers will surely drop further.

If sources are to be believed, Sameer Soni ended up slapping Dolly, after which he was asked by the Bigg Boss to come to the confession room which he did not obey.

For the uninitiated, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has banned the two shows Bigg Boss on COLORS and Rakhi Ka Insaaf on Imagine and has claimed that these shows are not fit for universal viewing and hence it cannot be aired before 11 PM. The Ministry has issued a directive to the channels to telecast their shows only between 11PM and 5 AM. Even the re-telecasts cannot be shown at a time slot other than this. In addition to this, both Bigg Boss and Rakhi ka Insaaf will have to carry a disclaimer saying it is not suitable for children and parents' discretion is required.

It's all scripted - Dolly had come for a few weeks only and Sameer looks depressed and bored
If Sam is not eliminated normally, his popularity remains intact.

This Friday, Aakhri Salaam will be all about Pamela.
It's too bad that we wont get to hear from D and S much.

I feel bad for Sameer, though Bigg Boss gave both of them a second chance. He shouldn't have done this.
