MADHUR considering AISHWARYA for HEROINE since

Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine is going through rough times.

The filmmaker may still be wooing the sassy Kareena Kapoor, who expressed dismay over the steamy scenes and asked for them to be toned down, apart from citing date issues, but Madhur seems to be considering his options and getting aishwarya rai bachchan is now on his mind.

Madhur recently had a secret meeting with Ash to woo her for the film, now that Kareena's schedule makes her busy for at least a year-and-a-half. He does not have much time as producers want to start rolling despite Madhur's wanting to wait for Kareena's nod. So keen is the National Award winning director on getting Kareena, that at the 16th BT Party on October 29, he never left her side even for a minute. But despite his affection and Bebo even expressing the desire to work with him — the actress is not able to squeeze time out of her calendar.

Given the sensitiveness of the issue, the filmmaker chose to deny the news about his meeting Ash. "I'm still busy with my film and have no time to meet anyone. I will start meeting people soon," he said, indicating that he would have to take a flexible look at casting. A top trade source said, "Ash has never done a movie in which she was a second preference. Let's see what Madhur can do and who he can rope in if Kareena falls through."
