Ridhi is perfect as Priya :)

My post is NOT directed to the Maryada forum at IF, so I hope no one is offended 😳 but in another site I read a few comments regarding Ridhi Dogra ( Priya) and I found it quite unfair. I read a few comments in which people stated that they felt Ridhi should be changed because she is not pretty enough! 😲 I was quite annoyed by this.

First of all, beauty is subjective. There is no REAL definition of the word beautiful, because we are all different, therefore our perceptions shall differ from one another. Apni apni nazariye ki baat hai. Personally I think that Ridhi is a pretty girl, and has very expressive eyes, which goes well with the intensity of her character.

And more importantly, she is a very good actress! People often get hung up on looks but forget that the actor/actress should be suitable for the role. Ridhi is perfect as Priya and she conveys the emotions of her character extremely well. Also, Ridhi's chemistry with Rakesh is amazing and that's a HUGE plus point 😆

If anyone has doubts about Ridhi then they should go and watch the scene where Priya confronts the Rickshaw Driver and gives him a piece of her mind. She was so into the skin of her character and her expressions, body language and dialogue delivery...all were SPOT ON!! I for one do NOT want to see a pretty face that cannot live her character. A very pretty and talented Ridhi Dogra is fine with me 👏

u are so rite about beauty its only on the outside thing its wots inside tht counts and ridhi is a really good actress i love her as priya and i read an article about the scene wer she had to look at the sea and look sad in the article it says that she was so scared but in the scene she didnt even let it show once 👏! i really think tht people should stop judging on how others look as thts not the tru definition of beauty cos beauty is wots on the inside 😃

i feel she fits da role perfectly n is doin a gr8 job as priya..

i too personally feel dat she's really pretty n good looking...atleast she's much more beautiful than some actress who don't even look good wid make-up yet they r liked by many ppl...

ridhi n raqesh r doin afab job as aditya n priya....n their chemistry is so real that it actually looks as if there's in reality characters like aditya n priya....
