PLEASE READ THE NEXT POST FOR THE RULES OF THE DEN

A well Deserved Slap for Mr.Maan Singh Khurana👏👏...There can b No justification given on such kind of violence which came from MSK today👎🏼

But is it Story Butchering ??Nope is my Answer...and heres why..

Today's episode was bold in real sense in terms of content..it almost depicted the hard hitting reality of physical abuse in a relationship..and how when u lust or desire so passionately for someone,it can become dangerous for the same relationship to survive..very hard hitting reality difficult to digest sinse till now Maaneet had a perfect fairy tale love story and we as viewers sitll love to see fairytales rather than hard-hitting realities...Some episodes make us happy and some make us Sad...Those r human emotions..today's episode made us sad..we gave our extreme reactions for MSK's slap instantly..so this means today's episode left an impact on us....as long as epiosodes leave an impact,we can say Story is not lost..day we stop feeling anything after an episode,thats when we can say There is no story 😊..reason why last few episodes were illogical and silly because we felt nothing😆 but Friday and Today's episode left a certain impact and has the potential to give a logical direction to this separation track if CVs don't goof up tomorrow and go back to silly bickerings again🥱...

Question is..Was it CV's idea to first show MSK as a human in HP...then turn him to a God in Delhi and then make him a Demon eventually so that finally they can justify the title of why Geet:Hui Sabse Parayi ??🤔...

But is it MSK's Character Butchering..Nope is my Answer again..heres why😛...MSK becomes very violent in anger .,..we saw that even in outhouse scene before the dargah moment and kurban hua dance as well..his manhandling is not new..we hv seen it earlier as well..today its looking bad because he crossed all limits even after confession and knowing that Geet is pregnent....but thats his way of showing anger and he loses control over himself..he forgets everything and becomes a real dusht danav...So CVs and Nissar completes two more loops here...MSK once said "Yeh ladki mujhe ek din pagal kar degi"..today he actually became insane in his extreme passion and obsession to possess her ...second Geet gave him the name Dusht Danav and today he actually becomes one...

Will MSK repent after this slap ??...will the demon inside him die and will give birth to a human again...??🤔

Right now MSK is angry and tomorrow his anger will go to an all time high after the slap..but that will b an instant reaction...eventually his realisation will come in and thats when he will take the Redemption path..MSK has fallen down badly now in the eyes of all his worshippers..from here he cannot fall down further...he can only rise...but how and when is the question which CVs will hv to answer very carefully as tihs can make or break this show fully now😊

What Geet needs to do now ??

First and Foremost she should not repent for the slap😡because its fully justified👍🏼..She should hold her own ground of dignity and walk off ...

Scenes I loved today...

First scene when MSK saves Geet by carrying her in his arms😳..there r two reasons why I loved this scene even though it was repitative..First reason is wet MSK looked bangable..very hotttt☺️..Second reason is they showed the irony as well as similarity between both the scenes here with perfect flashback of that old scene👍🏼...Situation is same but circumstances and relationships hv changed..in HP both were strangers so their body language was different😉..This time both hv already shared a very intimate bond ..so their closeness in terms of body contact and facial expressions was evident☺️...I could see a Nissar touch in the scene which made the repitative scene looked very refreshing and sensuous😳😳
GC's dance moves were just brilliant⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..its giving me goosebumps still😍..He is THE BEST Dancer on small screen right now👍🏼...
Geet's dialogues to Maan.."Stop making tamasha of yourself..whatever is happening ..whatever we r doing is all wrong and stupidity"👍🏼...This is what made MSK go wild again because even he knows that Geet is right and thats his problem..he is being proved wrong by Geet everytime...Geet showed him that she doesn't need his help..Geet showed him that her presense does affect him...Geet showed him that she can lead her life independently..Geet still is firm with her stand and reminds MSK of his own stupidity...these were reasons enough to give rise to that Demon we saw today😊
Last scene was raw..bold..hard-hitting and tears your heart apart and leaves a very strong impact on the minds of the viewers👍🏼..Its not easy for the CVs to actually justify Geet slapping MSK's character whom most viewers worshipped till now😉..that was one hell of a risk CVs were taking and they succeeded here👍🏼;GC is one rare actor who can make viewers love MSK,Worship MSK and then hate MSK like anything..yes we r hating MSK because GC's strong screen presense..his intense wild eyes and that obsessive cunning body language while man-handling Geet actually made us hate MSK in today's episode....so thats one hell of a brilliant acting coming from the Actor..right ??😳..Scene was brilliantly executed👏...

Things I disliked today

Aarahna is one irritating chick who can neither dance nor act👎🏼 ...Next time CVs bring a better match for MSK on the dance floor at least😆

Song selection was bad👎🏼..mayb CVs want the viewers to forget the dance here because its not Maaneet moment😆

Maan saving Geet and then calling it all a circus👎🏼

GC and DD were excellent👏👏...Execution was better and episode can hv some interesting debates😊

Ok sinse we cannot justify what MSK did today👎🏼...

So here is MSK's path to Redemption

1)Self-Realisation that he was horribly wrong in manhandling a pregnent girl whose life was destroyed by his own brother..

2)Emotional Breakdown in his own room..Yes I want MSK to cry his heart out for what he has done today...

3)Ask his self-conscience why did he do it..if its because of his past influence or whatever..it needs to come out clear from his words and actions

4)Self-Confession that whatever he did with Geet in pool party was nothing less than a Sin and then self-determination to do the damage control

5)Accept the fact that his Ego and Hero-Complex ruined his relationship with Geet ..even though Geet din't trust him,but he always had the option to talk ...Geet gave him a chance in diwali party by taking one step ahead towards him but he ruined the opportunity because of his wild Ego..And now its time for him to throw that Ego out of his soul forever before he goes and confronts with Geet again

6)He needs to remember all the promises that he made to Geet and Cry his heart out once again once he sheds his Ego completely😊

7)He should go down on his knees and apologise to Geet for today's act and also confess that his behaviour in the party was Inhuman👎🏼...

8)If at all Geet forgives him after he goes through these above steps,then he should fully allow Geet to take the upper hand always in their relationship

9)He needs to once again revive all his promises and this time say it Clearly that "HE LOVES HER"(Yes u need a cliche ILU here..thats where their relationship was screwed up..I realised finally ..its necessary in every relationship made on Earth😊)

10)Last but not the least he will hv to prove himself to Geet that he is capable enough to b the father of her child

Only when MSK goes through these above 10 steps ...We get our Human well-refined MSK back in action😃'

Question regarding what is the main point of this Separation/Misunderstanding track

Point of this track is simple...Geet feels MSK wanted to marry her to save family's reputation but still after speaking to Dadi ,she wanted to talk to him but he refused ..so Geet questioned him if thats the case why u r coming behind me...that sort of gave rise to Devil MSK that we saw today...MSK feels Geet din't trust him and on top of that challenged him that she can live without him and then her words in diwali confrontation was last nail in the coffin...now he wants to prove her that he can live happily without her but its just the opposite😉..whereas Geet doesn't want to prove anything..she just wants to b independent..thats it...

Today's episode sort of made clear many things with a proper execution👍🏼..yes there r still many loopholes in the track but from here onwards if they can show a good outcome of the slap in both their characters...show can come back on track..simple...😃..Depends on CVs ..how they make use of this slap sequence in future episodes😊

Episode Rating:9/10...Just because it was painful to watch,I cannot give it a low rating because in terms of execution and editing ,it was a perfect episode today👍🏼

Quick take.... Finally after long today and writing something at the den......

Good execution today..... Maan was sooooo abusive.... Maan's character has been butchered royally...... shows that Maan is not god...he is a stubborn, arrogant, crazy human being....... he has so much abhimaan...he has become inhuman.... he was so abusive to a gal whom he loved n who is pregnant... the slap was so well deserved... what was Maan thinking when he was manhandling her like that? Is this what a heart break does to a person? How much ever someone is hurt, in love a guy can never behave like Maan did with Geet...it shows that till now more than love it was his ehsaan, mahaanta n his being superior to her that was in his mind in their relationship.... with the slap which Geet gave him, he shud get a reality check that he aint the ultimate authority..he is being a jerk... n that gal is far more tolerant in their relationship just coz she needs roti, kapda and makaan as well...

Drashi - take a bow...u were brilliant.... Totally loved you

Gurmeet - as usual was very good.... n yes he looked dayum hawt in the first 3 minutes.... the wet hair look....haaaay.... Maan was looking very very bangable

Direction - Loved the execution today

Today Maan's behavior totally washed away all the good things or rather ehsaan he has done on Geet. Now Geet and Maan are on equal platform.

Now unless Maan apologises to Geet wholeheartedly for his abusive behavior, Geet shouldnt forgive him easily.... Maan needs a reality check that he isnt the only one hurt.... others can react too.... as they too get hurt.

Their relationship should go ahead only if Geet accepts his apology and Geet dictates the terms.... Maan can no more dictate terms in their relationship...

Detailed analysis of the episode and expected future steps....

Geet falling into the pool after being pushed by that silly party gal Arhana 😡 and calling for help as she doesnt know swimming... though the water was just about 4.5 feet, a gal who doesnt know to swim would instantly react like this when she falls into water... 👍🏼 Geet had done this in HP n she did it again...poor gal was too scared.... Maan coming from under her and lifting her in water to save her..... the scene was very good 😃😛 but CVs i have a question...was Maan sitting inside the water waiting for Geet to fall so that he could save her??? 😆😆😆😆Or did he aparate inside the water??? 😆😆😆😆..... U guys wont stop the bloopers na... chalo chodo...

Maan carrying Geet outside the water in his arms.....😛😃😳 perfect Flashback scenes to show how different their relationship now is.... the body language speaks volumes here... their first meet (Geet reminded Maan of their first meet) was when Maan saved Geet from drowning in the lake in HP...he lifted n carried her out of water ....but both being strangers their body language was clearly of a gal drowning and a savior saving her...😊😎 but today their relationship is different..... they have been bonded emotionally as well as physically 😉😳☺️ and that can be seen..... the moment Geet felt someone was saving her from drowning she knew it was Maan and she comfortably took tight hold of his neck.... n clung onto him.... he too held her high up to his chest as if he was holding something very very precious.... He held her very close to his body and she was very comfortable in that... 😳☺️😳☺️😳☺️😳☺️ Geet was in mood for remembering the old days and how much their relationship has changed over time and hence she reminded him of their first meet.... Maan after saving her was almost calming down... but her reminder reminded him of the party's mission...the party's mission was to tell Ms. Geet Handa that she didnt matter in his life..... thats y came that rude remark... circus khatam ho gayi hai, lets start the party...

All Geet would hv needed to forget what happened in the past 10 days was a hug from Maan after saving her from water and then some calm talk.... but Maan in his anger called her falling in water n all a circus entertainment.... Geet was extremely hurt by this.... she is right in her thinking that if he wanted to insult her like this, y did he save her?

Geet wanting to talk to Maan right away to ask him bout the purpose for calling her here despite being told by Adi and Pinky that Maan's angry now and that she is wet.... well thats Geet...its her character...she needs to clarify there and then as he had called her for work and what had he done till now other than insulting her...nuthing... so she needed to talk to him.... 😊

Maan post saving Geet from water, is thinking bout her words that her being or not being matters to him... he is angry that she doesnt need him...he breaks the drink glass he is holding.... shows that when Maan is in anger he will destroy everything completely.... n today in his anger he destroyed himself totally... he destroyed all the good her had done for Geet till now and became the real dusht danav...

Geet asking Maan why did you call me here? Maan was calmer n said Geet go home... but Geet needs to know why he called her... he responds saying if u din realise till now, u wont realise anyway....Geet rightly asks you are doing everything to just insult me?

I liked the next scene where Geet replies back to Arhana that if u sow thorns u will get thorns...😛😃 Liked it that even when he was angry, Maan realised something was not right between Arhana and Geet and that Arhana probably did something to Geet...he is trying to protect Geet...😃😛 but after all the insults Geet definitely doesnt need his help n she says so.... that irked Maan more... after all he did to prove to geet that she needs him, she is being independent, she is taking care of her needs and she is standing up for herself...it is hurting him that she proved him wrong that she needs him... he is hating the fact that the gal for whom he is crazy and he isnt being able to live without, is actually capable of surviving without him.... Maan wanted to talk to Geet at that time but Arhana's saying that u r giving importance to this gal reminded him that the party was to tell Geet that she aint important...so again he goes on his ego trip as Geet just told him again that she doesnt need his help.... He is hurt that last evening she told him her being or not being matters to him, she doesnt need his help and that she is totally proving it too....

Maan dancing with Arhana.... well Gurmeet danced very well..👏👏.. but that chick Arhana, can neither dance nor act nor deliver dialogues well...👎🏼. she was a bad choice CVs and Directors.... The song selection too wasnt good.... I dint like it...

Maan dancing with Arhana all close makes Geet jealous??? well no not Jealous...it makes her sad 😭😭😭 as she is reminded of all the dances she shared with him... all the closeness they had together... Maan fakes wanting to dance with Geet...well he never intended on dancing with Geet as he is angry at that time and wants to prove to her that he is perfectly happy without her... but that fake asking for her hand in dance n then taking Arhana's hurt Geet.... she is missing the times she has spent with him... Maan knows his dance with Arhana is affecting Geet and he wants to hurt her more so he goes all the way to lift Arhana.... this is the breaking point for Geet as, though Kurbaan hua was an anger 😡 show by Maan, it was also her first dance with Maan.... infact first dance with any guy... Kurbaan hua though angry, was passionate 😳 and is one of the most memorable dances she had with Maan....she has always cherished that dance as it started changing the equation between Geet and Maan... Kurbaan hua was one of the turning points in their relationship... and Maan recreating that close dance with another gal was unbearable for Geet.... Geet is in total tears 😭😭😭 and as she cant tolerate it anymore, she leaves....

Maan is waiting to see her reaction but seeing that she has left, he goes in search of her... now he wants her to accept that seeing another gal with him affects her.... Maan is angry and is being brutal and physically abusive on Geet... he had earlier had a self talk that Geet is like every other gal while he had thot she was different... he had that thing in his mind ...that she is like other gals... she wants him to touch her ...she is hurt that when she is around he is dancing with someone else n not her, he was allowing someone else to get close to him... Maan hurts Geet verbally...Geet logically and calmly tells him she shudnt be making a tamasha of himself by doing something which his heart wont normally approve of.... .... at this Maan knows Geet is right but is angry and hence retorts with his spiteful words bout her being affected by him allowing closeness by someother gal...

Geet wants to leave but Maan royally pulls her to him...manhandling to the limit... tells her that he knows she wants him to touch and hold her..so now she shud dance with him and not feel shy as they r alone here... he is questioning her whether he shud dance with her or may be (kiss her or consummated with her there n then)... Geet is shocked at his thought... she is trying to break free n he is becoming more agressive..he is molesting her and forcibly dancing with her... bending her in the back, pulling, pushing, swirling her....he has forgotten that she is pregnant... he crossed the limits of manhandling... and hence gets a tight slap from Geet... a very very well deserved slap... he needed it to get him back to reality...

Maan today was total brutal, abusive, molesting, MCP who thinks he can do anything with Geet... this is the same man who had made promises that he will always save her, protect her, stand in the way of her and her past.... this is the same man who took her to the doc for the check up to make sure she n the baby r fine... Maan today truly became the dusht danav...😡😡😡😡😡😡

But now the demon in him is awakened.... only becoz Geet did not trust him... she walked out on him saying she doesnt need his help, she also stamped it on him that she matters to him.... yet she proved that she can be independent... she can survive without him...she also told him he is doing something which his heart wont approve off.... so according to him she has hurt his ego... guy proved today that he was till now under the impression that she needs his help...his ehsaan on her shud make her bow down to him..he isnt understanding that she never needed him for survival... she always needed him coz of the love n care he showed for her...

Meera and Dev scene was good too.... thats closed the loop that Meera got dev back home and he is in her room and thats y geet hasnt seen him... also Meera is feeling guilty that she hasnt told Geet that dev is back... but i am wondering where will Geet go once she realises Dev and NT are out and Dev is at Meera's house...

Maan today has really crossed the limit and needs to really repent badly if he needs to become human again and needs forgiveness from Geet...

He has become soul-less.... but even after the slap he is too angry to understand anything while Geet is already repenting hving raised a hand on him... But Geet u shudnt be feelign bad as he deserved that slap and much more... he needed to be kicked where it hurts the most... now Geet needs to tell him that she was holding on to the bandhan coz she thought there was some love in tehir relationship...today his behavior proved that he never had any love...all he wanted was to prove that she needs him... she was in that bandhan not becoz of need but becoz of want... but if he hasnt understood that relationships r becoz of want n not out of need then she needs to move ahead of that relationship...i want her to remove the ring from that small box which she has tied to her hand n place the ring in his hand n say...finally i will now move on and this time do not try to follow me or search me... i am going forever from ur live.... as all i hv given u is pain n thats made u a real dusht danav.. n I want Geet to walk off from there.....

I want Geet to leave Maan and go home.... pack her bags, hear meera out that NT is out and that Geet is in danger... decide that she needs to leave the city, tell meera that she is leaving the city and leave the house... meet the 3 idiots from the Indian Paints and they should take her to one of their houses to keep her safe from Maan...

Maan's initial reaction will be anger but after seeing the ring in his hand i want him to realise that she had never really given up on him...she was still clinging on to their relationship and what he did broke their relationship... I want him to feel the pain ...he has hurt Geet... he knew she had misunderstood him and he cud hv spoken it out but he chose to go on an ego trip that she did not trust him enough.... i want to see him break down and cry after he realises that she has gone and its all becoz of what he has done... i want him to remember every vow he had made to her and how he has broken that every vow.... i want him to remember how brutally he has behaved with a gal he loves and the gal is pregnant... i want him to hate himself for that.... i want him to go in search of her... talk to meera n find out she is leaving the city... search the bus station, railway station and every place he can think of... not find her anywhere and break down in the middle of the road crying...weeping... accepting that he needs her n cant live without her...he was mad to do what her did...

In the meanwhile i want Geet to realise that Maan hadnt bailed Dev (talk with Meera should clear that)... and that she misunderstood him and that she was wrong in insulting him infront of office and the media... i want her to feel bad bout that n realise why he has been behaving like a mad, moronish, jerkish MCP...

From the actions of Romeo, Pandey and Manish I want Maan to get a hint that they know something bout Geet and follow them n find her.... Get down on his knees and apologise to her... accept that he was wrong and inhuman...he had gone insane coz he is crazily in love with her and couldnt tolerate that she left him.. yes I want him now to say the cliched I LOVE YOU like crazy... may be

"Geet tumne mujhe pagal kar diya hai... main tumse deewangi ki haadh tak mohobbatt karta hoon... I LOVE YOU Geet...main tumhare bagair nahi jee sakta... please mujhe aise chodke mat jao... main janta hoon maine bahut badi galati kiyi hai...aur main yeh bhi janta hoon tumhe meri jaroorat nahi hai... par mujhe tumhari jaroorat hai.. please mujhe apne aapse door mat karo.. mujhe ek aakhri mauka do yeh saabit karne ke liye ki main ek achha jeevan saathi aur ek achha pita ban sakta hoon...please Geet... "

Post this I want Geet to just walk off from him... n him feeling she left him....dejected...maan with his face down in his hands n tears in his eyes... looks up only when he realises that Geet has put back the taveez in his gala...

n then Geet telling him.."maine aapko galat samjha..aap par bharosa nahi kiya...mujhe maauff kar dijiye maan... haan yeh sach hai zinda rehene ke liye mujhe aapki jaroorat nahi hai...par meri zindagi aapke bagair khali hai... aap ho to merei zindagi zindagi hai...warna kuch nahi... i love u maan"... then I want Maan to place back the ring on her finger n they both hugging each other... n him kissing her on her neck.... n holding her tightly.... ahem ahem...

Episode was awesome.....execution was brilliant... CVs, episode directors, Nissar - Y do u ppl hv no consistency?? I have been saying this time and again... a 7-7.5 /10 all the time is better than a 3/10, 4/10, 5/10 for 5-6 days and then a 9/10 one day.... please be more consistent.... we understand that there can be crew availability issues but they need to be handled well... you cant be slack on execution for those reasons...

Well today the episode was a 9/10 for me as it was brilliantly executed..execpt for Maan's sudden presence in water I did not find editing problem anywhere... the BG used was perfect... 👍🏼

Drashti - take a bow gal.... today u actually left Gurmeet behind.... ur act of emotions and subtlity was brilliant... its easier to show absolute anger n passion but subtly showing ur love, hurt, betrayal, pain is far more tougher...u were simply superb....(10/10)👏👏👏👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏼

Gurmeet - Man finally u made us hate Maan....u r truly a versatile actor..u know how to make the fans go crazy behind Maan...worship him like god, hate him for being dusht danav... hats off to u... Dance too was very well done.... (10/10)👏👏👏👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nissar, Swati, CVs and Maan Singh- need i say anything??? superb.... (9/10)

Tomorrow will tell whether he was correct or whether we can make an exception in this case. 😉

Personally, I am happy with the well deserved slap ........MSK was asking for it. 😡

W*H was he doing manhandling a woman like that 😡 😡especially one whom he purportedly loves 😡 😡 not to mention one who is pregnant with his brother's child. 😡

There is absolutely no excuse for physical violence on a woman. PHYSICAL VIOLENCE MUST NOT BE CONDONED. He crossed the line and must be punished for it. And yes don't you even tell me that the slap is enough punishment. That is not going to fly. 😡

Has he forgotten that she has been physically abused all her life and also raped by his own brother 😡

Please do not make Geet weak after the slap.

I certainly hope this is the wakeup call the beast needs to start turning back into a human again so that he can woo his beauty back. Now mind you that Geet must take him back only after he promises to go to anger management classes and promises not to be an A** ever again - well this is MSK so that is not really possible 😒 but he has to promise to treat her nice. Also he has to promise to kick Sasha's butt and whatsherface's butt (the chick who cannot dance)

Maan's breakdown is coming. He will realize what he has put Geet through and hate himself even more. The slap Geet gave him today will pale in comparison to the hell he will go through when he realizes what he put her through for his own ego. GC hats off to you on your performance. You highlighted the moods of Maan beautifully. You made us hate the guy at the very end. A superlative performance ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

DD was amazing. She downplayed her part perfectly and was dynamite in the last part. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The chemistry between the two was amazing. 👏 👏 👏 👏

All in all a much better episode than yesterday. 😃😃

I think I actually understand what Maan is trying to do. He does not mind Geet saying that he needs her but her repeated, 'I dont need you' phrase is driving him up the wall. Even at the Diwali party she says, 'Aapko farak parhta hai.' If she had had said that, 'hum dono ko farak parhta hai' we would not see the demon we saw today. It was scary seeing Maan like that but arrogance and anger are his trademarks. Its not that they are showing us a new facet of his personality right? Lets see before Geet came:

- His staff was scared of him

- The manager at HP was scared of him

- Dadima always said that Sameera had broken him

Geet gave a purpose to his life. He still does not realise that he needs her more than she needs him because his pride won't agree to that. Today's slap is going to open his eyes. He really deserved that one. Being so violent with the girl you claim to love and that too when she's pregnant!!! It is down right nasty. But that's what his anger does to him. I will not deny that I enjoyed the passionate anger between the two. There is certainly love there but pride needs to take a backstep before everything crashes. I am sure he will come to his sense. I would not go as far as saying that Maan does not deserve Geet.

Through Maan's tough act today, we still saw many glimpses of his concern for her:

- He is amazed to hear Geet say that this is how they met the first time

- He puts her down very gently and takes her closer

- He wants to intervene between Arhana (annoying!!!) and Geet but again she says the famous, 'I dont need you.'

- He asks about what is happening between both of them

He is trying to prove a point and will not rest till Geet says that she needs him too and she truly does but you cannot force people like that, munda. Woh darr jayegi!!! But they will come back together. Maan is going to feel like a complete idiot very soon realizing how much he is hurting Geet. But people, isnt this what we want? I know it gets senseless many a times but we cannot deny that such fabulous episodes do come quite frequently. Please don't shoot me but I liked todays episode.

Maan: Can the man dance or what?!?!? He has such agility in his movements!!! Loved it!! Loved it like crazy. He is a born artist, that I know now!!! His anger was top notch today. It really hit me hard and I felt his anger. That's what a true actor can do!!!

Geet: DD... DD... What do I say? You were just too good. Your portrayal of hurt, betrayal, anger and the slap!!! Wow!!! Tusi great ho!! Maan deserved it today totally. U were just too good.

Overall rating: Ummmm.... Can I say 9/10??? 😳

Loved the episode today. Execution was what we'd been groomed to expect from you, by you. No complains from me today on that regard…had the right amount of drama….but…tomorrow will be critical. Especially Maan's reaction will be extremely critical. Tread carefully. You haven't disappointed us in the past, so am not expecting to be disappointed tomorrow. But your recent track of 'on again, off again' behavior leads me to caution you. Must commend you on maintaining Maaneet characters.

Maaneet's relationship has gone through a lot of upheavals. From the HP days to the almost-engagement days. The initial euphoria gave way to a settling down period and testing the foundation of that relationship. As they say, if your love is strong, it can weather any storms. We'll soon be witness to how Maaneet weather this particular hurricane which is set to test the very base of their foundation.

The ratcheting up of emotions seemed to have reached a crescendo today. Has it reached its peak ? The Slap indicates it must have but…tomorrow should tell us.

Maan rage is growing in similarity to anyone being hysterical. That bout of hysteria, when it reaches a certain high level, has to be controlled with a tight slap…..that is the most common cure. And that is what I saw in today's episode.

Yesterday, it was Geet's turn to realize that her ego trip had gone too far. Maan's pain and his feelings of hatred towards her seemed to have triggered a self-correcting mechanism in her. Today it was Maan's turn.

Arhaana pushes Geet into the pool Geet cant swim…saved by Maan. HP revisited. This is how their encounter began. Today it came full circle. And what a ride it has been for Maaneet and us viewers, depicting the rise and fall in their relationship. Do both of them remember that day in HP by the lake ?

Geet tries to remind him of their first meeting. But it has the opposite effect on Maan. He is reading her eyes though. But he pushes her away … declaring it a circus. Public humiliation number #…honestly, I've lost count.

Geet remembers Maan's words from yesterday, the time he dragged her out of KC….past humiliations. Geet has reached her limit. He'd come as a savior but now she wont lead her life per his rules. She is looking for equality.

Phew, finally they are showing some continuity…after a day's gap ! Meera takes Dev home….at least some continuation. Meera in a quandary as to why she did what she did… her values weakening. She not willing to forgive him for Geet. But when Geet finds out then what ? Will Geet be homeless again ?

Maaneet
----------
Maan with a drink in hand remembers last nights convo, him declaring no relationship between them…forcing himself to believe, but he needs to make such an effort. He'd put Geet on a pedestal from which she has now fallen in his eyes. Boy, oh boy, his ego/anger is feeding itself and has become a monstrosity.

Loved Geet's determination to go and talk to Maan and tell him that he is not the only one who's hurting. His actions have hurt her too. Did he call her to the farmhouse to humiliate her ? Adinki try to reason with her but Geet is firm.

Barry, loved the ensuing convo. Good job today !

Inspite of his preoccupation with revenge, he is still alert to the undercurrents between Arhaan and Geet. As u sow, so u reap…if u sow thorns, u reap thorns. I think that comment was equally directed towards Maan. So when he asks if anything's wrong, she says - Kuch nahin…nothing u care about, besides don't need ur help, can help myself., pain evident in her eyes. Were you able to register that in your brain Maan ?

But Maan is equally fickle…Again, ego rears its head to say she's not imp nor does she have any imp in my life.

And then he dances with Arhaana watching its effect on Geet. See it for yourself. Maan is playing with Geet's emotions today. He seems to be hitting a new low.

The low blow was when he lifted Arhaan a la Kurban Hua. There was no forgiving that Maan. Will u be able to face yourself tomorrow, Maan ? Will be interesting to see how.

Maan is remembering Kurban Hua but his ego refuses to let him step back and think. Well, I think u achieved your goal Maan. Geet is super hurt….r u happy now ? U achieved your goal.

Then why r u following her …to rub salt into her wounds ? Geet still tries to help him asking why u making a fool of urself , why r u doing something ur heart would not permit you to do ?

Geet confesses - Everything is wrong, what happened, whats happening.

Don't cut her off Maan

But Maan is too busy driving in the dagger….Now u know, ur problem is that I;m happy without u, letting someone else come nearer. But then he tries to get physical with her. That's a NO NO !

Tumhe farak padta hai na that im dancing with someone else, not coming near u. At first she shows her love, her gentleness when he pulls her close, she is affected… but when she sees the mad anger in him, she fights back. Maan is so blinded by his emotions that he just wants to see her hurt. Well I think you got what u wished for Maan.

U deserved the slap Maan. In ur blind rage, u forgot she was the love of ur live, u forgot she was a woman, u forgot she was pregnant. U deserved the slap ….to bring you out of your stupor. This is your wakeup call Maan. Let's see if you rise to it.

I appreciated the fact that today the CVs brought out the issue of physical abuse in this scene. The best way to counter it is to fight back, like Geet…not suffer in the shadows. That's what Geet has been since HP.

In a strong relationship, you must be confident enough to put you foot down when its wrong. Your partner would not love you any less for standing up to him. Therein lies the strength, to be able to lift each other up when things go wrong. If he/she does not look at it that way, then that is not relationship of love… its just an attraction which has worn off.

Eager to find out what happens tomorrow ….

Before he met her he was a walking talking machine - a robot

She awoke the man in him and a chivalrous one at that.

Before he met her, he was a hibernating beast - made that way by his life's experiences

She awoke the monster in him and a mad one at that.

She brings out the 'best', the 'boast' and the 'beast' in him

He saved her life in the past and now she will save his soul.

He needs salvation and she is the answer

Before she met him she was a timid and docile girl

He awoke the fighter in her

Before she met him she had no hope of finding true love

He awoke the hope and love in her

But alas her past weighed too heavily on her and she failed her first test of trust, having been betrayed by every single person in her life.

She needs to learn to trust again and only he can make her do that by rebuilding that trust after what happened today.

Here's something about the dance which resembled the 'Kurban hua' dance.

It was the 'Pasodoble' which in Spanish means 'double step'.The dance is symbolic of the bull fight. The leader (the male) of this dance plays the part of the matador and the follower (female) may either be the matador's cape or the bull itself.

Symbolism - Maan is dragging Geet into the bullfight on both occassion. In the Kurban Hua dance he literally dragged her into the dance itself. Then too he was expressing his anger but was also unconsciously expressing his strong attraction for her.

In this one, the bull (Geet) was the bystander while the matador (Maan) went through the elaborate motions of swirling his cape (in this case Arhana). He was literally wagging the cape at her in the hope of getting her all charged up. Much to his annoyance the bull just walked away without actually biting the bait.

So he decided that he will forcefully drag the bull into the fight in a repeat of the dance. Only the matador got hit by the bull, much to the bull's own surprise.

About Geet's right handed slap to Maan while left handed slaps to NT and Dev:

Geet is left handed (because DD is a lefty). So the tapads that NT and Dev got must have been really powerful since we tend to have more power in the hand we use the most.

Maan on the other hand got a tapad from her right hand, that is her weak hand. So the slap may have also been less physical intensity although the emotional blow would be far more intense since Maan is not used to getting slapped around and that too by a woman.

Geet's left hand is right for her. So she felt justified in slapping the devil duo. Geet's right hand is the wrong hand for her. So she may feel bad slapping him even though he deserved it.

Maaneet's problems with each other are summarised below:

His problem with her:

1.She rejected his proposal, that too in front of the people to whom he was proclaiming that she would be his better half and equal partner just a few moments back - No one rejects him. Only he has the right to accept or reject.

2.She failed to trust him even after all that he has done for her - No one dared to question his intentions and his integrity.

3.She challenged that she can live without his support - No one dared to challenge Maan Singh Khurana.

4.She has the audacity to say that her presence or absence matters to him as he is affected by her - No one can affect Maan against his will. He is invincible and infallible.

5.She tries to walk away, pretending she is unaffected by his elaborate act to bring her to her knees in jealousy - No one walks away without acknowledging their defeat.

Her problem with him:

1.He has put his family before her - He has done exactly what he accused her of doing back in HP (that of protecting her family)

2.He made her feel used - He was the one who asked to her stand up against people who try to use her and be independent. She was doing exactly that - voicing her intolerance to being taken advantage of.

3.He made her feel small and inadequate by listing all that he has done for her; his mentioning that he accepted her despite her pregnancy really drove the dagger in her heart. - He was the one who told her that her past did not matter and that his happiness lay in hers and yet he brought it up to exalt himself.

4.He was vindictive and unfair at work when he tried to prove she cannot survive without him - After building her self confidence she least expected him to undermine her.

5.He stooped low and resorted to cheap tactics to prove she needs him and not the other way around - She could not bear to see his fall from grace.

My thoughts on the episode:

Maan deserved to get slapped: There is nothing justifiable about Maan's actions today. While physical abuse on anyone is inexcusable, abuse on a pregnant girl cannot me overlooked under any circumstance. Was I surprised to see Maan be that aggressive with Geet knowing that she is pregnant? YES! Maan has manhandled Geet in the past, but ever since Maan found out Geet is pregnant and especially after the confession, he has always been so gentle with Geet. Even his manhandling in the hospital elevator was a toned down version of the previous elevator scene. But today it reached a new level of violence and cross the limits after knowing she is pregnant! So in those terms the slap is justified. 👍🏼

Maan's character is not destroyed: Maan's character is not destroyed, YET! Maan was very much in character today. What we witnessed today is his dark side. This is the side of him that everyone chooses to ignore. Maan, like everyone else has good and bad in him. His good outweighs the bad and therefore it is so easily swept under the rug. Just because it is convenient to ignore them doesn't mean that Maan's anger issues and abusive behavior don't exist. Today the CVs showed that Maan is not the God people considered him to be... he is human just like the rest of us. Before today, Maan was every girl's dream, too good to be true and divine. After today, he is still every girl's dream, but real and human.

Geet stood up for herself: I loved that Geet stood up for self against Maan's abuse. She showed Maan that she won't let anyone misbehave with her, not even him. Also, she conveyed a much needed social message to millions of women who suffer abuse at the hands of their loved ones to stand up for themselves and fight back. The only thing I ask the CVs is not have Geet apologize for slapping Maan. His actions were inexcusable. She had every right to fight back and she should not regret it or apologize for it. If I was in Geet's place, Maan would have a broken nose. 😡😡

Maan's character is redeemable: Maan's character is not destroyed forever, it is very much redeemable. First he should regret his actions and hate himself for losing control with not only with the woman he loves but also a pregnant woman. This time he must give Geet a REAL apology and Not a half a$$ one like last time. Maan should literally get on his knees and beg Geet for forgiveness and Geet MUST make him work for it.

The Dance sequence: GC is an excellent dancer!!😳😳 The song choice was left wondering but the dance was good because of GC's moves. Too bad Maan was dancing with that cheap A$$ Arhana. I can't believe Maan did the Kurbaan Hua lift on her. I wanted to strangle him on the spot. 😡

GC and DD were brilliant in their performance. GC showed off his range as an actor today. And DD was simply out of this world.👏

Execution was miles ahead from yesterday's episode! 👍🏼

AS was brilliant portraying the unconscious Dev! 😳🤣

Overall: 9/10
