Very well executed episode, one could see the pain they have for each other!

Maan's man handling of Geet, yes he was rough, yes he was bad and no woman deserves this, but this is MSK, he is one spoiled arrogant SOB!!! Yes that's right I called him that, but u know what this is his character consistancy from the creatives. MSK has always been that way, he treated Geet the same way in HP. (Leopard never changes his spot now does he) When one is in love and hurt the person goes blind and literally blind and this is what is happening with MSK, he is madly in love with Geet and can't handle her rejection and walking away from him. Who the hell is he kidding when he tells Geet he doesn't want to see her, the point is he can't stay away from her! He hires a detective to find her, buys the company to be close to her and so why all this. He is using reverse psychology on Geet, that's it! Remember guys, he is used to having what he wants and he will never let go of Geet! If he didnt care, he would not save her from the pool. Some people have a different way of conveying their feelings and love for one another! Let's face it MSK is an animal, he has no affection at this stage, but when it comes out...IM sure Munda will go wild! 😆

Think for a second, don't u think he is hurting himself in the process, doesn't anyone feel his pain!!! Im not defending his actions, but Im just saying he is hurt too! We must look at things lightly and this is just a serial!!!

At times a person does not come out all this until he hits rock bottom and today Geet showed him his place, she knows MSK is not who is acting to be, she knows he has a heart, she knows him better then he knows himself, she cares for him! This slap will wake him up and come out of that bottom, trust me on this one, its only human nature!

Now will Geet give in when he breaks down, oh yes she will cause she knows his pain, she knows how he is, she is used to him!

That's it from me today, chop me up with ur talwars! 😕

DD and GC, both deserve a standing ovation today! They are priceless and I thank them for giving us Maneet, without them we would not be attached!

Does it make sense when I say, I hated the action of the character in the show and I loved the episode and characterization for precisely the same reason.

Yes! Loving the characterization does not mean condoning what the character did.

Do I like what MSK did? NO! Who can like that?

Do I expect that from MSK? Heck - yes! He CAN do that, even though he should not. He is that character. He is that animal. And it has been clear since very beginning.

In real life, I would not come within ten miles of someone like Maan Singh Khurana. And I am not saying this after today's episode. This is how I feel from the very beginning. In real life such people are called jerks, right? Not hot or dreamy 😊 If such a man had indeed saved my life like he saved Geet's, I would make sure even further that I do not come within ten miles of this person. Because it would be difficult for my self respect to not give it back to him when he acts as a jerk and it would be difficult for my sense of gratitude to ever show any disrespect to him after he saved my life. Geet manages to do both 😊

So, yes! If I were there in place of Geet, there would have been no story. And I can never love, or even like a man like Maan Singh Khurana. I can never get close enough to such a person to even know if there is soft and caring heart in there.

But in this story, there is Geet and there is Maan. Maan who would have irritated the feminist in me to no ends (giving random lectures on "tum auratein" to a stranger woman??), inspired Geet to become strong. I am empowered enough that I would not have tolerated a boss like MSK even for a day. But Geet hung around long enough to fall for this man (she had the compulsion to retain the job, accepted her compulsion and tolerated him).

The animal is MSK would make me cringe, because I anyway would have no respect for him. He could have done nothing for my development as an individual. But sometimes knowingly, sometime unknowingly, he has done so much for Geet's development, that the animal is him can not make her hate him. The animal in him hurts Geet not so much out of a pity for herself, but out of a concern for him.

I could never have been the one to tame the animal in him, because I could never have accepted him. But Geet accepts him and is willing to tame the animal in him. I would never have cared to look at the hurt a man like MSK carries, much less try to heal him. But Geet has the softness, the patience, the willingness and the heart to do it.

That's why they are meant for each other. And I love the characters, even though I do not identify with them. I love the characterization of the animal in MSK, while I continue to hold my hatred for such an animal.

Does it mean that it is okay for MSK to be an animal with Geet. No, its not. Even Geet did not accept it. That's the good thing. She gave it back with the slap. So, I don't think any wrong message is going out there for the society. Showing a criminal in a show does not mean his acts is being condoned. Showing the animal in MSK did not mean it was being condoned. It wasn't. Otherwise the slap would not have come from Geet - a woman who loves and respects him to no end despite recognizing the animal in him. So, I am perfectly happy with the CVs here. They have shown the character without condoning it.

One question is why does Geet regret the slap since Maan deserved it after his behaviour. Geet, as the character, is living her personal life. She is not consciously trying to give out a social message or anything. Think of it. We don't always carry out our day to day activities thinking about the message it gives to the society. If I humour my hubby even when he is behaving like a kid, it does not mean I condone men behaving like kids! So, given what Maan is for Geet (and what he could never have been for me), its fine for her to regret it, regret the slap that is. But I do hope that she does not melt very easily after this 😊 Even as Geet - she should give it back to MSK now!

Dear friends,

I believe we can all agree on one thing and that is today GC and DD's performance were fabulous. It wont be too much if I add that the episode was, from a story's POV, quite interesting. Now whatever happened in the show left most of the fans speechless and almost 80% of the viewers would die for a chance to slap msk on his other check. Well friends before you hypothetically do that, lets consider the whole situation again.

Maan was always an ill mannered man before geet really happened to his life which happened on their first official date in front of a tent. Before that day whatever takkars, conversations, falling, eyelocking happened cant be considered as official. Even before that official confession maan was forcing geet to admit that she has feelings for him when dev was the one who suggested him to give the girl some time and talk. But wet and toweled maan and the dialogues near the tent touched all of the fans so much that they decided to forget everything else. If you all hadn't decided to forget the old maan that day, today wouldn't have been such a shock to you all. Now, maan never promised geet not to be angry ever and neither did he promise anyone that he would act like a god from that day forward. He was still the stubborn man with the difference that he was in love. Now take the love away from a beast and what do we find? We get a much scary beast, don't we? See there's a difference between never been in love and losing love. In both cases the person remains single but the latter one definitely hurts like anything.

Maan was a man ready to get married and bragging about it in an official meeting when his ladylove appeared and rejected him in public. In addition, charged him of being deceptive, abusive and untrustworthy. Of all the blames she had put on him the one that could possibly hurt that man was that he had lost his love along with the dreams attached. He kept on looking for her, found her, stuck around her. Have anyone of you here ever been broken up with your love? You must know that the only next thing you want is to find a way to make things up. But geet constantly kept saying that she doesn't need him even today after being saved by maan she said that she doesn't need his help. And maan kept wanting to hear from her that he was needed not to prove himself or his ego but to hear that she loves him through the words "I need you". But geet denied to admit it and plotted against maan with the new employees and hushed away a new client which never happened to maan before as a businessman. Any staff in KC daring to repel any client would be similar to digging his own grave. But maan let geet go for the sake of love. So maan loves her but everyday feels to have lost her love and got more and more vulnerable. Note that maan never broke up with geet, its geet who did that and its hard for maan to accept that. His ego remained unaffected but his soul was affected, dreadfully, which lead the monster in him to rise.

If you all consider the last part of today's episode carefully you will see that maan was trying to converse with geet when geet didn't want to hear him and leave. Which actually lead maan to force her more and one thing lead to another and eventually maan got brutal and geet slapped him. I am not saying that I agree with what maan did today but only that I understand the reason behind it from analytical POV. During disagreements, debate, fights and war things tend to get way out of limits that are never preplanned.

Now lets understand the following matters clearly:

1. Both are guilty due to their respective mistakes since the day they broke up.

2. Both still love each other and feel miserable because they think the other one is guilty and should come and apologize.

3. Both are mad that the guilty one is being so proud and arrogant

4. Both of them needed to burst out and commit some mistake which will help the ego to break and come to senses.

So today maan started the huge mistake by manhandling her and geet had to slap to stop him. The slap was much deserved no doubt but geet would never feel happy about it because she loves him and sincerely never wanted to hit him. But I am not very sure about maan. He definitely believes that he was completely innocent when geet humiliated him in public for no goods reason and now the slap……! So if tomorrow you see a more violent maan don't go crazy. After all from his POV the girl he loves keeps hurting him, humiliating him and finally had hit him illogically. No one sees his own mistake and so maan may get more violent before he stops and realizes his mistake. Meanwhile you all stay cheerful because its just a show, not the whole world watches it, its not any documentary for the school going children and its sending no such messages which a man is actually not. A man can get angry, be very rude to his love and then be very sorry and make up. A daily soap that intends to entertain us for at least another year needs some drama. Maan was rude but not violent and the viewers are adult, not children.

DD, GC Excellent performance; G-team, great going, don't be scared and stick to your plans. Take care everyone.

but on screen only😆 in reality its painful...thats why GEET SLAPED him! i loved it! watever she did atm ,was right..justified...

now i want maan to repent, regret, cry his heart out...cut lot of logs(bare chest maan cutting logs in anger☺️ ), tai-chi☺️, self talk...n than i want him to say SORRY! infact he has feel sorry n give geet some space for time being..than woo geet again.
i agree with ppl maan was like this he has this part in him which was seen once a while now came out full fledged...he is possessive abt geet..he cant hear no he can go 2 any extend..he is rough n tough guy...bt after this he shud know imp of geet in his life n how to behave with gals sp geet in maan istyle..i dont want him to be love sick puppy again.

I can't believe the story has taken such a u-turn..they were getting engaged last month and now this....

I agree with everyone that he had shades of grey during the first few months of the show...but then they made him larger than life...I mean its a person's character not the weather ki jab chahe badal jaye!

ps: I remember bringing this up a long time back as to how Geet should sue him for sexual harassment... I hope she sues him now!

I mean there scores of gals and women who all love Maan...and I can see that today atleast a few of them think he was justified in reacting the way he did- just because this is the way he is and he loves Geet very very much!

This is how domestic abuse becomes acceptable...Its ok for him to hurt me because he loves me!! Not Done!

I have always been against censorship and have supported freedom of expression...but today for the first time I have felt that maybe we do need to have a check on what is being broadcast...

Physical abuse is a very serious crime..and the writers should not deal with it in their customary frivolous manner

There is a fine line between passion and abuse and today Maan crossed that line...

I got the point CVs r making him a human from God but pls make him a decent one. A decent human cant do same thing infront of the grl he is very much in love with to teach her lesson. when did Geet said Maan dosnt has ne influence on her? it was him then why this manhandling & what was that dialoge for? U wanted this na? c'mon we r alone, also there is no diffrence if we r not alone. what was that thing indicating his love or some indecent proposal. For god sakes CVs this grl was raped by this man's brother only 3 months ago. not 30 yrs not 3 yrs ony 3 months😡

okay, this is not abt deserving whom or why? If we see Maan bak in HP track he was rude but even tht time he gave her inspiration not such humiliation. after that time he changed. changed by wht? LOVE. love makes ppl do stupidity, possessive acts. DO IT. no one is stoping him. even in Pari track he was bit out of character. he hugd Pari which dont go with his character but that was for some purpose. Now again hes doing something for some purpose I gues. but he shud atleast clear it with audience. Poor execution CVs. many things can cause this disorder of his behaviour. A bad past with women. I strongly blve he has a dark childhood. these may b the causes. but whtever the coz is make it reasonable & clear. Show his pain when he is alone like u r showing Geet's pain. give him some self talk. he is not a random guy CVs. he is the hero of the show. Geet will end up with him at the end of the day😕

Hi everyone!

I will not be posting a bhaashan today

I loved the execution today!
I loved how you got the point across - of recreating those moments of drowning.
For Geet they were the first connection with Maan..for MAan, the first time he became her savior ( " I don't need your help") He pushed her away and went.

I also like the self-reflexive dialogues you give once in a while..about how the scene looks to us.."Circus" good one!

Arhana needless to say really annoyed me to the breaking point and I was so happy when Maan pushed her away..I swear- but then he took her back again.

His systematically hurting Geet again and again is something I disagree with.
Vengeance in love..tit-for-tat considering she hurt him never with the intention of doing so.
Him doing it intentionally made him NOT HUMAN(as we wanted to see) but DUSHT DANAV( in the true sense)

I am angry..but his response to the slap better be along the lines of him coming completely low..in his realization of what he has done and go looking for Geet..go through hell for what he has done..because ABUSE in any context in a relationship where 2 people LOVE each other and were about to be MARRIED, the woman he loves is PREGNANT- is not justified.
No matter how much hurt. no matter how much anger

Some might feel MAan has always been like that.
YEs- I saw the HP MAan in the bar, I could see it when he extricated Geet's arms from his neck, I could see it even in the dance.
BUT THE kurbaan hua moment. And the way he abused her physically as well as emotionally- by saying something like this- "aur koi ho bhi toh kya farq padhta hai"
THAT is unprecedented and I will not forgive that

HP maan was in denial. Outhouse abuse- He didn't know she was preggy..he was running away from her. He has since then accepted his love, in front of her, in front of his family, the world, nature- NOW today what he did was a mockery of that.

I have been saying this- MAan will reach his lowest point- the dark pit and then he will be brought back by Geet.
HEr slap of self-defence- slapping him for all he said and was doing with her- that slap was a wake-up call..MUST become the wake-up call to bring back MAan from the dark hell he is into.

BTW- BRILLIANT acting today!!
DD, GC- Take a bow!!
I don't know what else to say...the emotions of longing,love, hurt, anger, bitterness were all there...
the passionate ANGER in MSK's eyes when he was saying all these horrible things to Geet- very well emoted...he became an animal then and had to be struck to be brought back to remembrance

Geet's dialogue to MAan about asking him to stop making a tamasha out of himself reminded me of the disco epi...where they HUG each other- that had mutuality and sensuousness, love and tenderness..we saw Geet walking away from Maan. Geet pushed him away with force and he staggered.
Sharply juxtaposed is this scene where Maan is in a violent frenzy dancing with her- just recall that sensuous dance and hug- it's a sharp change and yet a parallel

See- now such recreations if well-executed look intelligent..because they remind of the original and how things are in a way reversed and yet the same. I find it difficult to explain..there are parallels and contrasts both..but the reminder is there.

Just like the Qurbaan Hua recreation. MAan knew what he did. Geet seemed as if she was slapped when he picked Arhana in the same way.

Of course she was affected. of course she couldn't take it anymore. But it is unbearable to see him doing it out of spite and hurt.

Their pain is enough now. Can we have a beautiful reunion please!
And repentance of both tomorrow. MAan more than Geet today. She has realized..he needs to now.
Only giving time till tomorrow. Maan's response will decide all of it and pu a very strong point across...So be very careful

About Dev-Meera.
Im worried about her..HEr dilemma is really heartfelt and I feel for her. I liked that scene today..and glad you showed what happened to maintain continuity and logic

No analysis from me...just some thoughts:

Today Maan Singh Khurana got what he deserved and I am mighty pleased!!!

Was there a Character Assassination of MSK??

I dont think they have done any character assassination!! Its just that people could not see the human behind all the kindness he portrayed before Geet, always helping her out!!
MSK has always been portrayed as someone we saw today. Its just that today we saw it come out in him and people feel cheated for this side of him was never seen before!

Geet just brought out the animal in him, which always resided!!

Hopefully this will also help him correct himself and correct Geet's impression about him!! Now if they show separation, that would be point completely coz then both were in love with an attribute of each other which is only part of their character!!

Have the creatives lost their mind??

(Disclaimer : I understood passion as extreme strong emotions, not necessarily just extreme love and adoration, I wish someone would clarify 😆)

I read an interview of GC in the very beginning when Geet was fresh, where he had mentioned that this show was a very passionate love story. But then as I was watching Geet, apart from being captured by the chemistry of GC and DD, I wondered whether the story was a really passionate love story?

I thot MSK is the classic M and B hero and Geet is the helpless doe who rises to fight, but now they are in love etc..all hunky dory...he is over and over being portrayed as someone who is so understanding and tolerant, which is understandable..considering he is much older and experienced...so where does the passion come from??

Is it just that these two keep bickering on and off and they show then standing up against the world. Well that works for everyone...but does that justify the tag of a passionate love story? Mind you I am not talking about just them making love or showing love! They can show all the sensual fore, present and post-play for all our satisfaction but then again...I am not sure whether that was all passion evokes??

Slowly as the character description went deeper and deeper (which I am not sure whether it was a well thought out process) and somewhere the beast/devil portrayal of MSK and even parts of Geet (her anger and her ego and rashness..) was shown and I felt ok this fits the tag!!

Today...what they showed to me fits the tag!!

Once again, I am not saying what he did is right. He did wrong. Noone should ideally manhandle their love and mistreat their loved one the way he did. But in the entire spectrum of human emotions...there is never a never...and humans exhibit all emotions from the black end to the white!

So today we saw a dark grey of MSK!! Where will the love take them from here?? That is an interesting question, for I dont see repentance coming so soon!! (if the creatives are trying to portray what I feel they are),. Ideally, I would think that I would see more darker grey...before any semblance of light comes across!!

But whether the creatives succeeded in their attempt?

To me this was the character sketch of MSK, which fits what they showed, but then they have done a very poor execution of this character sketch by failing to show introspection from Maan's end on multiple counts or even some history about his past from his grandmother or anyone else!! Hence all the inconsistencies!! Just writing an awesome story is not enough, one needs to maintain the flow with appropriate dialogues. If this were a book we were reading, none of us would have had issues, because narratives had a whole load of description on the significance of where the emotions rise from, a solid character sketch and on the details of the environment around the characters. But this is not a narrative. Its a show, where these details have to be brought about by the addition of dialogues, self talk, flashbacks and requisite props which the creatives fail to foresee and end up with a half baked delivery of the actual story!

Finally:

Standing ovation to GC and DD once again. That was some solid piece of acting out there!! 👏👏👏

After watching today's episode I want to ask if the real Maan Singh Khurana can please stand up?

Now can you go beat up this guy we saw in this episode cause he is killing your character and everything you have said and promised so far.

I wish Geet had quite keep quiet when Maan saved her as he seemed to be in some sort of trance when he was walking, I don't know where he was taking her, but he looked like he was on a mission 😆 until she opened her mouth and woke him up 😡 I think she woke not just him but also the prick within. I can't believe he called her a circus, openly insulting her and to top of it off all the bandars in the party clapped too 😡😡😡

Maan looked really hot, when he was all wet tho, even tho I'm mad at him, i'm not blind 😆

Not a single person, thought of the baby, not even Geet. CVs you do realise you have to incorperate the pregnancy into the storyline all the time not just when you feel like it, you would think after nearly drowning someone would have mentioned it, please sort this out!

So Geet decides enough is enough 👏 she wants to talk it out with him. Even tho Adi and Pinky try to diffuse the situation and talk her out of it, Geet remains firm and strong. I love her line about how Maan is not the only person who can feel hurt and anger. Geet was very direct and to the point today, she didn't beat about the bush and asked him straight out what his intentions are and about the insulting, I like this new side of her, I hope the CVs keep some consistency here.

Is Maan trying to have a dig at her when he says the line about understanding or is there supposed to be hidden msg here 😕

Why did Arhana change her outfit, i didn't understand what the reason was as no one else changed, it was Geet who fell in the water afterall 😕

Geet's word and directness affected him here as he didn't want to dance even tho he had promised Arhana before but she had to say the magic words and the ego within him rewoke and off he went to the floor 😡

GC dances really well 👏 I enjoyed seeing him dance again, can't say the same about his partner tho, For a guy who is not affected by Gith, you did nothing but stare at her to see her reactions whilst you danced, you do realise Maan that she can see you to. The flashback of KH, still gives me goosebumps. When he lifted her in the air KH style, it was like he twisting in the knife. Superb expressions here by DD 👏

Geet dialogues were great today, I like how she told him he was out of character, doing things he doesn't really want to do just to make his point.

Maan totally stepped over the mark, there are some lines that should never be crossed, no matter what the other party has done. I don't care if he is hurt and angry, manhandling someone like this is unacceptable, no questions, no exceptions allowed. To make it even worse if that is possible, he knows she is pregnant. Weren't you the same man who made all these promises to protect and respect her or were they just mere words. I know Geet hurt you very deeply when she mistrusted you and that there has always been this grey side to Maan's character, but this is still no excuse for what you did. The Maan who we knew would have hurt himself inside of hurting Geet, remember when he broke the wood and cut his hand after the pregnancy came out. I just can't digest Maan behaving with Geet in this manner.

Right now the most important thing for Maan in his life is to be right, he doesn't care what he does, who he hurts, what is takes, as long as he proves her wrong, he will go to any limit right now. He might make his point to geet that she was wrong to not trust him, prove his importance in her life and that she is affected by him but at what cost is willing to do this as this Maan we have in the show currently is not the one who Geet could trust with her life, who would make sure no one could point a finger at her.

Is he willing to pay the price of losing himself, everything he stood for and Geet to be right?

Superb acting by GC and DD 👏👏👏

Meera taking in Dev, how long do you think you can hide him there? Have you thought about what Geet will go through at seeing him there, what kinda friend are you? 😡 Your love for Dev is not healthy if it goes against your principles and makes you do things you know are wrong 😡
