WHO: Takur SS, Takurain, KN, Ganti Dadi and Kesar

WHAT HAPPENS FIRST: SS comes to center stage and orders Takurain to arrange for numerous gifts to be sent for Arushi's wedding. Takurain is flabberghasted "Haven't had your fill of the humiliation from them that you want to send gifts to the IG/Colleector's family wedding?" she questions SS. Takurain now it is clear that you and KN are cut from the same cloth. Ignorance is not bliss in either of your cases, do you think he is an IG or a Collector. He can't be both. Vexed, SS gives her a baashan about the nature of relationship between relatives. He patiently explains that like it or not one fine day they will have to face the reality that Takur Sajjan Singh is their very special relative. Takurji, what's with the self-adulation these days? He advises Takurain not to tax the grey matter between her ears too much but follow his directions and send nice gifts over to the Saxes. Takurain wasn't just in the mood to annoy her mard today but wanted to make sure she could somehow connect the dots that would bring Prats into the picture. "Why should I send Arushi anything, her big sister will send her expensive jewelry". Looks like she is still haunted by the jewels Krishna bought Prats for Diwali. SS snaps at her "I will put a lock on those flapping jaws of yours and a little prasaadi to go with it to show you how to stay within your limits."
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: The tongue-lashing that Takurain gets from SS, doesn't dissuade KN from his choice to step forward and voice his concerns about Arushi's marriage. "I don't think lawyer launda is the right man for Arushi." When did you become a fortune-teller predicting Arushi's future? An infuriated SS challenges KN "You think you are right for Arushi and we should get you married to her?" Takurji, where did this come from? Is there a warning or a premonition of things to come in that statement? Or will KN pull a prank at the wedding if there is one at all.š²
Takurain tries to get in a word but clams up after SS threatens with joota prasadi. It's been a while since Takurain got one of those, is she missing that kind of attention from SS? SS warns KN "whether the lawyer is fit to marry Arushi or not there is no need for you to worry about it. Don't even think about creating the smallest issue at Arushi's wedding or you will get your comeuppance." He assures KN his marriage will take place. KN seems rather antsy about bringing bride # 2 home, we wonder why? Smarting from the insult for speaking his mind, KN storms off to his bedroom as Kesar meekly follows him.
WHO: Krishna & Prats (KRIYA)
WHERE: At a mall in Allahabad
WHAT HAPPENS FIRST: Krishna and Prats are off to the mall today. Baba seems to enjoy taking his Babu out quite a lot these days. He praises her beauty in a sari, she light s up the whole maal. Prats plays teacher and corrects him, it's mall. Krishna doesn't care much for the Angrezi language today.Lately he has not liked learning the English language much. Wonder why!Hmmm... "You understood right? That's all that matters". He wants Prats to get a new necklace for the one he broke on the terrace. But Prats says she'd rather fix it. She has everything she ever needs. You are here get something. "What do I need to get, I have everything". She wants corn. He imitates the face she makes. Lallantop expression Baba!š That was also the best expression of Shamu if you ever saw one, a Sax family trait. He tells Prats to stay put and is off to get the corn for his Babu.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: Prats is looking around the mall when her laser sharp eyes spots none other than the infamous two-timing lawyer SCAM on the phone. Prats decides to speak to him when a woman in a blue saree comes up to him with a shopping bag in hand. SCAM is grinning with glee as he takes a peak into the shopping bag the mysterious woman is showing him. We think this lady may have a bun in the oven after all. What could be the reason behind the lawyer's need for a conventional oven when he may already have a bun cooking in the convection oven? The lawyer must have felt the piercing angry eyes staring at him in shock across the corridor of the mall. Isn't this girl with this lawyer launda even a wee bit curious to see where Aman's attention went after he kissed her hand and forehead in public? Prats must really be happy she got another chance to do her marathon run, this time across the corridors of the mall. I guess Takurain would give her the third degree if she did that now esp. with her hawkish eyes to find a reason to rail into Prats. Prats bumps into a couple and pauses to collect the packages she had knocked down from their hands and loses sight of SCAM and his MA'AM. Prats spots SCAM & Ma'am walking hand in hand out of the mall. She runs to confront him when she runs snack into Krishna who is sprinting up the stairs looking for her. Prats tells Krishna she just saw A-man in the mall with his Wo-man. When she assures him it's SCAM and not a case of mistaken identity Krishna says "I knew much earlier on he is not a good man, he had another face hidden behind this one. This is how well-educated people are, they engage their minds in such activities. " In other words Baba you are calling SCAM "two-faced". And right you are! So did we the first day you encountered him outside the courthouse, we knew your internal radar had sniffed a rat. You have a talent for outing the rodents in your stratosphere! You may not be book smart but you have the right instincts to make it in the real world. Your achilles heel of course is RED and you refuse to consider them suspect due to your love and loyalty to the family that loved and raised you like a prince. Who dares to call you uneducated? When it comes to real life you are way ahead of the whole educated lot around you including your sasurji, Professor Shyamji Saxsena. You could teach them a thing or two about life. Prats tells Krishna they need to tell her parents what they know right away.
WHO: KN and Kesar
WHERE: Their bedroom
WHAT HAPPENS FIRST: Kesar tells KN that bauji SS was right and should give up any ideas he's got cooking in his mind about little Arushi. Fed up of hearing first SS and now Kesar he threatens her to stay within her limits. Yeah, that's right! Get defensive and threaten your wife, you big bully! Yo, KN how about you stay within your limits and no one would have to give you a piece of their mind once you learn how to use the grey matter between your ears. We have never seen you make eyes at Prats or drool over any other woman in your vicinity except Arushi. You've had the hots for her since Krishna and Prats's sangeet when you scared the living daylights off this child. You have a wife, you are already planning on bringing a second bride home, you have ogling at Arushi. Are you trying to prove to yourself that you are God's gift to women and have your own harem? Bhool jao, or SS will have your hide. He has already warned you but why do we get this sneaky suspicion that you are planning on a full-fledged gatiya move against her to seek your revenge for the joota slap she gave you for pawing her.
WHO: Krishna & Prats at Saxes, the entire family wanders in with time
WHERE: Living room in Green house, aka Dumb da dumb dumb dumb Hall
WHAT HAPPENS FIRST: Krishna and Prats arrive at the Saxes and Nainaji greets Prats and so does Dadi. They both ignore Krishna standing by Prats. What was the problem? Was the halo around Krishna's head blindng you that he was invisible to your eyes? How rude! Shamu wanders in and happily greets Prats first and asks Krishna to have a seat. Finally someone who acknowledges his presence in the house! Now let's see if they show their sanskaar and hospitality and offer him a glass of tanda tanda paani even if they up on their quota for the day and don't have supplies to make him a garama garam chai. Nainaji, you always make a fast run to the kitchen to make damadh wannabe SCAM a fresh cuppa chai every time his mugshot makes an appearance in your home. Today you saw Krishna and dropped yourself into the nearest chair. Chakkar ka hai, Nainaji? Humo tho batha do na? You are mistress of the well-educated sanskaari home so why the caste discrimination against your damadh?
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT: Prof. picks up on Prats's worried look and tells her to speak up whatever the matter may be. Prats haltingly questions if the family hadn't rushed into Arushi's marriage. "Have you checked out Aman and his family out thoroughly bec' it's a matter of Arushi's life? She queries beating around the bush. Krishna who was never one for the long patar-patars opts to get to the point and interrupts Prats "why are you running around the place instead of getting the point in stating such a little matter upfront? Prof. agrees Krishna is right. WOW! Did we just hear that from Shamu's lips? His pareshaan meter reading is increasing gradually and he tells Prats to just spill the beans. Prats still continues to beat around the bush "I think we have to take a little more time with Arushi's wedding. We need to know more about Aman, his family and the people associated with them". Dadi inquiring mind wants to know Prats's reason for saying such a thing. Prats turns to look at Krishna who asks her "why are you looking at me, you have to drop their bomb in their ears". Prats tells her family "I saw Aman today with another woman".š²š² Saxes are shell-shocked and not a word escapes their lips just yet.
WHAT HAPPENS A LITTLE LATER: Arushi wants to know whom Prats is talking about. She was in the room when Prats told her parents what she had seen at the mall so why does she pretend otherwise? Being scared and in denial is a formula for disaster. Arushia, do it your way! She asks Prats whom she is talking about. An impatient Krishna cuts to the chase "she is talking about your future husband SCAM. They guy is up to no good. He is #1 dhokebaaz, a crafty dude! How can you trust this lawyer?" He is on a roll but Prats tells him to cool down. Just then Adarsh arrives on his tum-tum with Komal's help. Prof. informs Arushi that Prats saw SCAM with his ma'am at the mall. Arushi is very matter of fact about it. "That's fine. Why are you all so confused? Aman told me he went to the mall with his bhabhi". Arushi if you are buying it without blinking then we have a bridge in Manhattan to sell you. She just threw the desperate Saxes a lifeline and they grabbed on to it for dear life like people being rescued from raging floods by a helicopter. Krishna and Prats look on in disbelief. Why wouldn't they? This couple is used to considering the motives behind any suspicious activity, whomever they may be. Now that's smart! š
WHAT HAPPENS A WHILE LATER: Prats tells Arushi "I have seen Aman's bhabhi and I won't make a mistake in recognizing her. I can tell you with confidence that it was not her but another woman." The whole family knows that Prats wouldn't make up such a story yet Arushi trusts her two-faced fiance over her sister. Nice going girl! He has already done a snowjob on you and you bought it hook, line and sinker. It should be no surprise at all! You are the same shallow girl who got easily sucked in and bought SCAM's corny lines singing your beautiful praises in chai terms. Sounds like a desperate girl wanting to get married since KN made his moves on her at the Niwas. She turns a deaf ear to what she has just heard from her sister and throws her years of trust built with Prats for a rotten two-timing con-artist all bec' of her faltu logic that he has a law degree and offered to marry her? SCAM the lawyer (pronounced Lie-yer) has as much respect for the law and moral ethics as a doctor who writes himself prescriptions to support his drug abuse. Arushi recites the fairy tale SCAM had spun her. Looks like this dude is using his legal background to weasel his way of uncomfortable personal situations than defend his clients. And we all know how well he defended Shamu at the trial. Now it makes absolute sense why his office was painted purple? It spells "artificial" as this color does not appear as such in nature. An ever so confident Arushi asks Prats "Why are you worried? If he was doing something wrong why would he call me and tell me all this?" You really want to know. Okie dokie! We will give it to you straight. It's called a pre-emptive strike so he gets his story in first before Prats gives her version of events to the family. Arushi was repeating a story she was sold rather than what her sister saw with her own eyes. Well, you are making your bed now, be prepared to cry a river on lonely nights while he is with your sauten.
Trust in Krishna to give it straight "He is a lawyer, he told you a story and you accepted it but your sister tells you and you don't believe her. If she saw him with another woman she is right what is the need to argue?" Now there we go again. Krishna living up to his word to Prats to hamesha "SAAT" dena! šš¼ He takes charge "Now think about what to do next".
WHAT HAPPENS A LOT LATER: Adarsh who was sitting in his tum-tum wasn't ready to let Krishna take charge of the situation.He finally speaks up in defense of SCAM. Looks like he is a sucker for an educated two-faced cheat as well. Join the line buddy, yep, right behind your clueless little sister who falls for a sleazy pick up like that compares her to chai. If nothing else that should have scared her off SCAM already with a ma'am. You Saxes are a row of sitting ducks waiting to get shot at. You think the Takurs with the rifles will take aim at you, Yet it's the educated ones just like you who are sticking the proverbial knife in the back and sending you on a boat without an oar headed toward the raging ocean. Adarsh plays defense counsel to the absent SCAM and questions Prats "did you see the face of the MA'AM who was with SCAM?" Prats is quiet and Shamu grabs the lifeline again "if you haven't seen her face you must be mistaken. Let's end this matter here and now". Way to go Shamu! While you are at it hand over a broom to Nainaji too. Hope you have enough brooms in the house to sweep all those uncomfortable little bits of information that come your way under the rug? Arushi agrees with her Papa and proud to get her two-faced fiance off the hook without knowing she was doing it. First it was Jai forgiven for whacking Adarsh with his Papa's car and putting him in a tum-tum. What next? Pretend SCAM is a one-woman dude and that Prats was weaving a story out of thin air? Is it now SCAM's turn to get away with his cheating ways? He is forgiven too? Yet all of you treat Krishna like an outcast for what? Because he dared to love your daughter and has gone to all lengths for her happiness taking his saat phere seriously! Can you say the same about Adarsh who read the "saat" dreams at his wedding and who is yet to fulfill any one of those promises. So much for educated minds!
WHAT HAPPENS MUCH LATER: Nainaji who has been on a train to Denial City of late tells Prats "accept that you made a mistake. We accept that you saw each other but never got to meet each other. Why are you making a big deal about it." Prats tells Nainaji adamantly "that wasn't his bhabhi with him". Nainaji is nonchalant about it "Fine, we accept it wasn't his bhabhi but another woman. So what? Do we go to his house and argue about it? What ever you saw forget about it. After all Aman did call Arushi and tell her himself so we shouldn't pay too much attention to this". So what? Are you kidding us? He was with another woman and it's of no consequence to you? Nainaji, what other reason would you have to argue with the Mathurs about if not this serious one? Would you go over to Mrs. Mathur to argue about a bad recipe she shared with you? What bakwas woman! This is your daughter's life and future at stake here and all you want to do is grab a broom and sweep it under the rug as fast as you can. Wonder what stories those rugs would tell if they could speak! Shamu's is happy Nainaji is getting his pareshaan meter pleads with Nainaji to understand what she is saying. Prats aren't you the lucky one that Krishna wouldn't give up when he pursued you against all barriers to marry you bec' he loves you so! š³ Left to the Saxes they would have married you off to the first educated dudeš.
SANSKAAR SANS SAXES: Nainaji asks Prats to sit down and eat her favorite sweet that Arushi just brought her. What? Did Nainaji get tips from Takurain on how to feed your kids sweets while brainwashing them with poison or a trip to denial city? No treats or even a drink of water for Krishna again? Are these Saxes blind and deaf? He is being treated like a pariah in this house even now after all this? You and your sanskaar gaye tel lene. While you are at it torch those degrees and diplomas and attend some basic decency courses if anyone offers them in your city. Adarsh didn't bother greet Krishna when he arrived on his tum-tum. Krishna is his jiju and saale saheb too. Yet when Aman shows up it's always "AMANJI, how are you?" This educated fool needs a basic lesson in manners. Dadi the oldie in the house completely ignored Krishna as if he didn't exist. She could have taken the Lord's name a few times just by calling the damadh's name unlike an Adarsh or Aman whose personalities don't live up to their names. What's with Komal? She is ignoring her brother too? Nainaji has not uttered one word to Krishna either. Why? If it wasn't for him Prats would be stuck in the Notanki Niwas and you wouldn't know that you have a sleazy conman waiting in the wings to take on a wife while having his jollies with another woman on the side. Your blind faith in a smooth operator with a law degree shows the level to which your brains are on rote circuits. At least once in a while exercise those thinking skills you once may have used.
PREVIEW: Prats walks into what looks like a hospital and walks down the corridor to park herself with folded across her chest in front of SCAM seated on a bench with his arms around his MA'AM as she is comfortably resting her head on his chest. BHAM! SCAM and his MA'AM have been caught red-handed. SCAM's two-faced double dipping lifestyle is going to be exposed to the world.ššš¼ Way to go KRIYA! Hope Krishna is there with you to gather the audience to expose this two-timing Lothario to the world. Baba and Baby playing will solve their first case tomorrow.šLALLANTOP INDEED!šš¼
