Ahh, so it was Frida Kahlo inspired! I wish they had used more vibrant colors (especially blue) to make the tribute obvious but the trademark Kahlo headdress is a very nice touch. Adore Rani the first picture although I think she's smiling way too much to truly embody Kahlo's persona. IMO, Lakshmi did that a lot better. The second picture looks odd what with Sabyasachi, and awkward placement of the plate. A for effort though.

@Shadowkisses : Agree with you --- Rani's dress colors are so NOT vivid. Very sad, strict & icy. I guess it's because it's Automn in Europe....or whatever the reason..the colors aren't good at all... Thanks for the pic --- Totall Frida's spirit!!!! http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=208w6fq&s=7 with the painting....Heck it's Frida!!!!! Maybe they wanted Rani to look like the dead passive spirit of Frida....
