This week's episodes were definitely a marked improvement. Had expected the judges to be more harsh on Pritesh than Ankita yesterday. Does seem to have worked though. Both passed the invention test with ease.

hey im new to this forum...i watch this show and agree theres none from south or east. in fact that was the thing i noticed first.
probably bec all the judges r north indians. east and south have their own beautiful innovative dishes that arent easy to make.

I find each episode 100% improvement on previous one. judges are firm but fair. Contestants put their heart and soul into it

so glad i was wrong, feel quite bad about saying it was boring and wouldnt take off
there is alot that can be learned from chefs and contestants alike.
well done contestants for delivering such delights in such short timescales
as for people who think these judges (chefs) are rude, you need to catch gordon ramsay and other uk chefs.......they reduce the contestants to tears.......our chefs are teddy bears in comparison and may i add better chefs than most chefs here in the uk

Gordon Ramsay does indeed push the contestants' buttons in Hell's Kitchen. The concept of the show is - chefs, who are working in a kitchen. On the other hand, you have shows like Top Chef and MC Australia, where the judges do criticize, but are not downright rude. If they are indeed following the MC format, why not tone down the badgering. Constructive criticism is acceptable, cannot expect the judges to go ga-ga.
