I totally agree ... auditions weren't conducted in east n south india ... the participant from hyderabad gave her auditions somewhere in north only ... very bad state of affairs ... n then on the show contestants r asked to make kerala paratha n 70mm dosas!!!

are you enjoying it now or do you still feel it may not work?

yes nind ... i saw the last episode and liked it ... the paneer innovations were really good ... but even tht show had a lot of rona-dhona n emotional athyaachaar ... like the time zebi cut her finger ... akshay was weird!!! he talks like he has swallowed a mic for breakfast! i think he is trying to sound like Big B!!!

Things have improved in the second week. Wasn't tempted to switch the channel, as with the audition episodes. But they should tone down the drama a bit. That would be wishful thinking, though. This is a desi show after all. 😛

Agree about the lack of contestants from the south and the east. The east is hardly represented in a reality show.

On a different note, how about converting this into a episode analysis thread. Or creating a new one. It would be great to discuss the episodes in one single thread.

this weeks episode was a marked improvement and enjoyable, the show is picking up nicely

Yes, I just watched yesterday's episode online .... I shud say I'm impressed! Contestants r doing a good job and judges r getting their due. I'll be watching this show till the end ... loving it!
