Chapter 9:
Maan dropped all of them off at the shop...he didn't want Geet to go with them...but he was helpless...he felt alone without Geet...he spent more time with her when she was not engaged to him...and now he barley gets to spend time with her...
Maan murtured: If i knew this was going to happen...then it would've been better if I hadn't gotten engaged to her...
At the store everyone was selecting dresses for Geet...
Dadima: Geet do you like this dress?
Geet: Yes, it is nice Dadima...
GeetMom: woh wali dress dikhana bhayia
Dadima and Geets mom got busy with selecting dresses for Geet...once in a while they would ask her opinion or sometimes make her just stand there and asks her to hold the dress in front of her so that they can see if it looks nice or not...Geet felt like a mannequin..she had no say at all...
Suddenly Dadima heard her phone
Dadima: Hello
Maan: Dadima abhi isi waqt Geet to phone dijiaye (in full anger)
Dadima: Maan why are you so angry?
Maan: Dadima please abhi usse phone dijaye
Dadima: ok hold on..Geet Maan se baat karo bahuat gusse mein hai
Geet: ji Dadima...Hello
Maan: GEET!!!!
Geet almost dropped the phone..hearing him yell at her like that..."Ji si si si sir"
Maan: kya si si si sir laga raka hai....abhi isi waqt office mein aao
Geet: kyu sir?
Maan: Geet just come to office right away! (in anger tone) and hangs up the phone...
Geet: Dadima, mom I have to go to office right now...Sir seemed really angry...
Saying that she headed straight out of the shop...she was walking on the road trying to catch a taxi...why was he so angry...hey babaji please save me today...then suddenly someone grabbed her from the hand and dragged her into the alley behind...
Geet: who are you? Let me go! (Started screaming)
Maan: Geet it's me
Geet: what are you doing here...you called me at the office
Maan: smiled...that was an excuse to get you out of there...besides from what I have seen you were bored...
Geet: let me go...I am going back
Maan: you can't go back...
Geet: Why not? let me go...
Geet started struggling....Maan griped her wrist tighter and tighter....
Maan: you can go but you have to pay me first.
Geet: ouch you are hurting my arm...Gab..(and stopped thinking back of what he did in the morning)
Maan: Gab...what Geet (smirked)
Geet: huh woh i meant let go of my arm
Maan: I will let you go..but like i said you have to pay me
Geet: fine how much do you want?
Maan laughed: Geet I don't want money...
Geet looked at him: Then what do you want...
Maan: A kiss
Geet shocked: A what
Maan smiled: A kiss..you know what I did to you in the morning...that...see I kissed you two times today...and so far you haven't...so I want my kisses in return as a payment...
Geet blushed and looked down...
Maan bends down and whispers in her ear: Geet I am waiting...
Geet: woh mein kaise
Maan: jaise maine kya tha waise
Geet: woh shadi...(unable to comprehend a sentence due to shyness)
Maan smiled, loves it when she shys: shadi...idk if I can wait that long...
Geet still looking down: mujhe jana hai
Maan: I will let you go...but you have to give me something right now...
Geet: will you let me go?
Maan: yes i will
Geet: close your eyes
Maan closes his eyes....Geet comes forward and kisses him on his cheek....Maan loosens his hands on Geet...as Maan does that Geet tries to get away from him..
Geet: you said that you will let me go...
Maan: I did let you go...I let your hand go...but you are not going back there...
Geet: why
Maan: Because I want to spend the day with you
Geet: but...
Maan: They think you are at office (winks at her and puts her in the car)...besides I don't think Dadima will allow you to go to work and until the marriage ceremony I don't think I will be able to see you...so I called you and pretended to be mad...and I knew you would come...
Geet: what will I tell mom and Dadima...
Maan: that you were at work...simple...ohh btw I will remember the kisses you owe me after the shadi..I won't forget...
Geet blushed at his statement and looked out the window
Two weeks later:
Geet and the family had moved to their haveli until Geet's marriage...everyone is so busy with all the wedding decorations...As her wedding day is getting closer and closer the more nervous she is getting...she is unable to sleep or eat properly....
Geet is sitting in her room at night...thinking about how her life may change after marriage...
Geet mom: Geet
Geet: yes Mama how come you didn't sleep
Geet mom sat on the bed next to Geet: Geet beta tomorrow you are going to get married...(tears forming in her eyes)
Geet also started crying: mom I don't want to leave you
Geet Mom: Stupid...eventually a Girl has to go someday...her real home is with her in-laws not with parents...girls parents responsibility is to take care of someone's ammanat until that right person comes...girls are meant to leave...
Geet started crying and hugs her mom
Geet: I will miss you guys
Geet mom: we are going to be here always..just remember to take care of your in-laws...
Geet: of course mom I will take care of my new house...and I will visit you guys everyday
Geet mom laughed: I came here to give you this necklace...this is a family necklace..it is a tradition that oldest daughter wear this necklace at their wedding...and pass it down to their own kids...
Geet: Mom its beautiful..thank you
Both mother and daughter hug each other and unable to control their tears...Geet's dad was passing by and saw them hug each other..unable to control his tears he went to his room...
Geet dad: I will really miss you beta...may you always be happy
Geet: papa
Geet dad: Geet what are you doing here...
Geet: I saw you passing by when I was hugging mom (ran to her dad and hugged him tight) I will miss you too papa...
Geet dad: pagli...rona band kar...(at the same time couldn't stop his own tears)
Geet mom came in the room and saw them hugging..
Geet: papa mama...can i ask you both something?
Both: Yes beta...anything...
Geet: Can I sleep with you both just like when I was little
Both looked at each other..of course beta...
They all went to sleep together..cherishing their moment together...

Note: Writing last part was very hard for me and very emotional..I hope you guys like the last part and some can relate to how it feels....😳😳 Although I haven't gone through this experience yet 😆
