To be honest I haven't read nor seen Vampire diaries, though I have heard of it and I think the same is the case with a lot of people here.

Still with the risk of sounding ignorant the concept sounds like a desified vampire story- what's not to like? So I'd suggest that you go ahead and start writing and give people atleast a little intro, and perhaps a little background info regarding vampire diaries for people who aren't familiar with it (like me!). And hopefully your writing skill should attract many readers...

i wouldn't add tv serial characters into it just to attract readers, keep the story the way you originally have planned, there are loads of ff's with non serial characters that have worked in the past so this one should too. Do let me know if/when you update ;)

I also liked how you have introduced an Indian girl named Radhika. Nice angle😃

I am very intersted in reading your FF as its very different from the other FF's that only involve the serial characters and its a new concept with new ideas!
