Most Expensive Bollywood Costumes

Shahrukh's superhero suit in Ra.1 has supposedly costs a Million Dollars - that's 4.5 Crore Rupees per costume, and there are 20 such costumes in the film!

While nothing can match that figure, let's take a look at some of the super expensive costumes in Bolly-dom!


1. Kareena Kapoor in Kambakkht Ishq
As Kareena Kapoor reveals that her dress in Kambakht Ishq had been brought from Paris and its price was Rs.8 Million


2. Madhuri Dixit in Devdas
Each of Madhuri Dixit's attires in Devdas cost roughly Rs.15 Lakhs.


3. Mallika Sherawat's Diamond Dress
Mallika Sherawat came under some criticism for her diamond-studded 'dress' at a social event.


4. Sherlyn's Diamond Bikini
Sherlyn Chopra appeared in a diamond studded bikini for a video.


5. Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan in Jodhaa Akbar
Neeta Lulla's designer costumes donned by Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan in Jodhaa Akbar were studded with diamonds, kundan and other precious and semi-precious stones. Each of Ash's costumes cost roughly Rs.2 Lakhs.


6. Vivek Oberoi in Prince
Narendra Kumar Ahmed, designer cum stylist for the Vivek Oberoi starrer Prince, says that the leather biker suit that Oberoi wears for most of the movie was one of the most expensive costumes. 'Each suit cost us approximately Rs.30,000 and we had at least six of them made.


7. Salman Khan in Veer
Salman Khan had six specially designed armours for him for his period film Veer - each costing a whopping Rs. 20 Lakh.

Love Devdas costumes the best, also Kareena's she looks stunning in that black dress.. Sherlyn's bra looks amazing but I don't think it's comfortable .. would love to have one tho 😳

the sharrukh and kareena ones seem inacurate. even clothes made by high fashion houses dont cost that much and sharukhs superhero costume must actually allow him to fly and do other super hero things if it costs one million dollars each

me too love bebo's black outfit of KI

Kareena's black dress is pretty but I can't believe it cost Rs. 8 million!!!! I can understand if her dress had diamonds, but that seems like a lot for a sequinned dress!
