The only two people who were actually consistent with their character were The Stiff Peacock IG and our dear heroine BABU . They were insisting that Jai shud understand the enormity of his actions . Today even i appreciated the consistence they showed in these two characters

I think The IG is very soon gonna regret that Babu is not HIS bahu .😆😆😆 u r too funny They wud have vibed WELL . We all saw the VIBES today in their high , moral thinking ..........they were ELECTRIFYING .

But what amused me the most was Shamu the Kootchie Poo telling Babu that u see everything BLACK and WHITE , its not so in life ! AHA ! Did i fancy it or did Shamu and his Kasturba actually looked EXASPERATED with darling Babu ?
i think those two were busy earning brownie points with the Mathurs and i think they were quite successful, did u not hear him telling Jai showed wash Aadarsh's feet and drink the water😆

Adarsh - He suspected all along and that suspicion was confirmed at the Thane - you could tell because he was the only person who did not look surprised when he saw Jai. I was not surprised because Adarsh is one of those peope who believe that a crime committed by sanskaari educated folk is a mistake but a crime committed by uneducated uncouth people is a heinous incomprehensible act.

Shakti leaving Kesar to bleed to death was as unforgivable and inhumane as Jay leaving Adarsh to bleed to death. Adarsh got lucky but I wonder by how much.

The Saxenas felt it easy to pardon because they did not suffer a loss (yet)- Adarsh is alive. but I wonder now that Komal's pregnancy truth is out (so soon) will that mean that the loss that Adarsh has faced will come to light? - impotency due to whatever lame brained medical reason?? If so then will Saxenas still be able to forgive Jai in future? Or will Dadi drive Shyamu insane that the only son in the family cannot have heirs and the criminal has been allowed to go scot free by Shyamu and Naninaji? Then will Adarsh go to jail for perjury if he feels compelled or vindictive enough to file a new complaint? very curious


Shyam - I was again not surprised that shyam behaved this way. the man has repeatedly demonstrated that he will leave his daughter in a risky situation at Thakur Niwas so that the marriage is not broken and their family is not shamed in the society they inhabit.

he was more concerned about sucking up to the future samdhis than actually getting justice by sticking to his principles.


Komal and Naina- Always flip flop so I won't bother discussing them

pratigya - was not surprised she wanted Jai punished. pratigya stays true to the law and principles unless her father or her brother is in jail. then she follows Adarsh's logic where the crime must have been an accident and the confession due to momentary insanity.

aman - another hypocrite today. not sure how he will be tomorrow. he knew his brother was guilty which is why when the saxs came he constantly shifted his eyes without looking them in the eye. so it bothers him eh that his family too breeds criminals and he is harbouring one? betcha this sachayi ka devta is going to use the same accident defense strategy he used for sachai ki murti Shyam, if Jai goes to jail.

inconsistency and hypocrisy is rampant in the Saxena family and Aman is the perfect damadh to join this family. comparatively krishna is a misfit.

I have to say that I was most surprised when the only person I liked in today' epi was the IG. considering i did not like his character since the beginning. today he actually sounded non preachy and bang on target.

As for Thakurs, I don't think they are hypocrites because they don't keep up a farce of being idealistic and abide by these so called principles selectively.

Thakurs (SS, Amma. Shaktia and Komal) are self-centred egotistical people. they make no bones about it in fact everyone knows this. they only do what is best for them and again they don't hide this. their first aim is self preservation. it has been and always will be.

there is a difference between hypocrites and liars, Sam. Liars lie to others, hypocrites lie to themselves and others.
