So today we saw Professor rushing to defend Jai Mathur. He was not ready to believe that Jai could have done it. Infact he was ready to withdraw the case because he wants to be in the good books of the Mathurs. Why did he do that guess to protect his realtions. I am just wondering if they had done the same if Aadarsh had been hit by Shaktia.

He was supporting his daughter when she put her MIL and BIL in the jail for abusing Kesar and today all that righteousness went straight out of the window.

Well.... if we are pointing out double standards...... what about Komal raging about wanting justice brought on Jai? ...... where was her sense of justice when she lied to police about the Kesar case?
Well.... surprise..... surprise..... P is the only consistent one insisting on justice on both issues (to what degree she will go with the hit & run case remains to be seen) ........

Komal went to the Saxes and became a hypocrite! All the Saxes are hypocrites.

I'm glad Prats stood by justice.

Komal has never been potrayed as a character who believes in what is right needs to be done. she has been potryed as a spoilt brat who only understands her benefit. she doesn't dwell into the what is right and what is wrong she selfishly only does what she thinks is correct so i wldn't consider as double standards but again that is my point of view.

This is just my opinion, but the difference is that the Professor stands for the truth and he is the one who has back flipped. We had that whole scene between Professor and Pratigya about fighting for the truth, no matter what the difficult path it is, but when it came to relationships which concerned the Prof he realised the importance of these relationships and the need to maintain them. At that time there was no thought for collateral damage but the truth and justice should prevail.
