I like to believe she is successful and she's not just a pretty face with no substance...that's the fan in me talking! And I hope as a woman she's successful b/c we need successful women in the industry! No hard feelings...but i get a little blinded by my end-dieing love for aishu...and you def allowed to have an opinion! I just a little annoyed when ppl think she's not an accomplished actress...but BO wise...you're right...hasn't been the best in her career..and yeah Robot wasn't her film, and yeah she hasn't performed at her best in foreign flicks.....despite all this I still want her to be considered successful and still be successful b/c in a way she's kind of carving the niche for future actresses...and not her alone, but kajol, karishma, madhuri, etc.

I want all of them...actresses like kareena, pc, kat to be successful even after marriage b/c ppl tend to associate marriage with end of one's career...and if there's talent then marriage should not be an obstacle!

its true Aish has a gr8 fan follwoing ... but it simply is nto for her acting !!!! most r fann of her beauty..she has been appreciated mmore for her beauty n kinda represents India at world leve !!!! but if we look into her career.. u will find 70% of her movie not clicking !!! its not me a BT trade expert says.. n in the odr hand Katrina who dunno A of acting has 70% hits in her career.. but Aish is way way better than Kat.. (no offense to kat or fan but she ain;t an actress )!!!!

But history has not been favoring this ... the sitcom in BT is once u get married ur value falls like card house !!!! 😆 See Aish's did not get married until she was in mid 30's to prolong her career !!! coz she is well aware of Bollywood trend n so our odr Heroins... like Rani n Pretty !!!! marriage was is n will remain an obstacle !!! 😛

it's not that marriage ends the actresses careers, but it's because their career are not going well, most actresses choose to marry... that is the case of the majority... 😛😛

of course, there are some who marry at the peak of their careers, like Kajol did...! i'm only citing recent actresses.... when an actress reaches 30's and her career starts to go downhill, hardly any of the producers/directors sign them, despite there are actors who would suit them... they prefer to take someone who is younger or a new find... 😛😛

true , but ash was still going strong post-30...but i also think it depends on how women prioritize in life...I mean madhuri was going strong to, but she wanted the complete family life b/c she had been working since she was 16...and i don't think she was tried, but i think she wanted to be more family oriented! I mean once ash becomes a mother...i think she'll take up less movies...she won't stop b/c she's a workaholic and she loves her job, but she's might maybe 1 film every year or every 2 years like kajol! Same thing happens in hollywood...once you become a mother..kids are 1st and then career...i mean julia roberts stopped for awhile, anjelina does 1-2 films a year, reese took a year off...also hollywood actresses are more likely to get nannies..where i haven't seen the emergence of nannies in India yet...but things change so let's see!

see, Madhuri has been my favourite, for quite a long time, so i may be biased, but even i will say that she only took a break from the movies, because her movies had stopped doing well... many of her roles were getting redundant, and she had started to look a bit older too...! 😳😳 but she got married at a good age, and that too, after ruling for almost two decades... so yes, kudos to her... i don't think any other actress has such a long career in the recent times, with the exception of Sridevi... i see Ash might be following the same trend... i don't see her career going anywhere for quite a while...! yes, she probably might slow down after she has kids... responsibilities shift, of course... 😳😳

but my point is that most actresses who are in their 30's now, whose career has already taken a beating will find it hard to make a comeback, and it has nothing to do with the fact that they are married...! in majority of the cases, the roles stop coming first, and then they decide to get married/find other things to do...! shilpa, rani, priety... they are not seen in most movies and it has nothing to do with their marriages and/or impeding marriages...! and yes, their fans can keep claiming that their favs are number 1 to them, even now, etc. etc... hey, i love madhuri to date, but i am not going to keep saying that she is still number 1, despite knowing that she does not really has a movie career anymore... yes, she might sign something here and there, but not as a lead, anytime soon...! and as for her comeback, i knew it would fail even before the movie was announced... and i seriously doubt she'll make it again as a lead... everyone has their prime...! 😃
