I saw a movie called Aakrosh yesterday with couple of my indian friends. Although tke story was fictional the theme portrayed in the movie was a fact. It was about honor killing. They portrayed couple of Thakur families in the movie. I was astounded to see the similarity in the language, location ,the house , the women etc with the Pratigya serial. Cvs ,I really do not know much about the background of the Thakurs.The only ones I know are the Rajput thakurs and the Great Rabindranath Tagore (In bengali Tagore is called thakur.I am a bengali by birth although I cannot speak the language that well). But If you are portraying the same origin of Thakur's as in the film 'Aakrosh' I have to say that after watching the movie I was amazed by the reality you are showing through your serial. The thakurs of this serial is exactly like them in the movie .They had the same surname Singh and they were dangerous murderers ,evil and very corrupted. It took a lot of time to eventually get them but at the end goodness prevailed over evil . I hope you do that too.
